Eps. 64 Return to Hamakua Forest

They continued walking down the tunnel filled with rats. Several times many rats fell into their bodies. Dirga immediately took the rats that fell on Rheva's body and threw them to the ground. After a long walk they felt that the number of rats was increasing and it was true that there was a swarm of rats behind them as if the rats were chasing something and they all ran wanting get out of that tunnel.

“Faster the way. I don't know what's going on with those rats and who's chasing them!” rheva looked back at the mobs of mist-stricken rats wanting to get out of the tunnel and pointed to the spot in front of them.

They speed up the road because they now feel chased by the rats. But the rats were getting faster and closer to them. Rheva who felt amused mixed with disgust with the mouse that pushed Dirga's body.

“Bruk...” they fell right at the end of that aisle. Rheva fell on and hit Dirga's body. This was the second time he had seen the man up close and his cheeks were red.

“Rheva...awas !!!” dirga shouted to see a swarm of rats coming out of the tunnel and almost crashing into their bodies. Rheva looked back. Because it was impossible for them to dodge and he lowered his head against Dirga's chest while hugging him and closing his eyes. The swarm of rats jumped past their bodies.

“The mouse has gone all. They're already gone. Let's go back on the road.” said Dirga saw Rheva who was still on his body. The girl was misbehaved and immediately sat down and came down from the child's body.

“Ah... sorry... I was accidentally. Let's continue our journey.” he said awkwardly while keeping his distance. Somehow he became embarrassed with Dirga after some of that incident. He had never been that nice to his friend before.

Just a few steps away appeared a giant cobra snake the size of a tunnel that they had passed behind them. Without being able to sense the snake, it quickly twisted the bodies of Rheva and Dirga.

“How is this..” muttered Rheva confused. The girl wanted to give her power to slash the cobra but she did not want her friend to know her true identity. Likewise with Dirga it was easy for him to knock down the snake but just like Rheva, he also did not want his friend to know his strength, because it was not ready. So he brainwashed how to take down the snake without being caught by the girl.

The snake tightened its dorsal. Dirga and Rheva hit the snake's body with their bare hands and without using their powers. Their empty punch did not injure the body of the cobra snake in the slightest. Even now the snake is closing its head and opening its mouth wide, visible sharp fangs that are ready to tear their bodies.

“Rheva close your eyes, close your eyes now !” dirga orders as their distance gets closer, but the girl keeps her eyes open. So Dirga immediately closed the girl's eyes with both hands.

Now opportunity. Dirga activated the power of his eyes. A dense violet radiance emanated from his eyes. He aimed the beam at the cobra's body like a laser cutting through iron, and in an instant the snake's head was cut off.

“Bruk...” the cobra's snake fell in line with the ground and wriggled. The bodies of both of them also fell to the ground along with the impact of the snake. The snake's blood was dirtying their faces and clothes.

“You're okay Rheva ?” tanyanya stood up while pulling the body of the girl helped her stand up.

“How about you ? I mean how did that snake get knocked down ? What did you do to that snake ?” pointing at the body of the snake that was slashed into two pieces.

“I... I did nothing. Ha-just hit his vital point.”he thought it was a lie. Rheva smiled faintly hearing that answer. Because he actually knew Dirga was using the power of his eyes.

“There is no other way besides that. Maybe it's the road to the forest Hamakua.” said Rheva after arriving in front of the plateau while looking up.

“Yes, let's try it. Let's try and get up there now !” bring Dirga.

“You can ride ?” he asked Rheva who had not answered him for some reason and just looked at the plain in front of him. Once again the gadia could have easily jumped up there with a single jump if Dirga did not despair with him at that time.

“I think I can..” the answer is doubtful.

There are some large rocks there next to the plateau that can be used as a foothold to go up even though the rocks are not like stairs and rather difficult to pass through because other than large also the distance between the rocks is far away.

Dirga who saw the reaction of his friend immediately jumped into one of the big stones to help his friend up.

“I'll help you up, grab my hand.” Dirga extended her hand. Rheva approached and grabbed the boy's hand while sticking his foot on the rock. Dirga immediately pulled him to the rock on which he stood and he repeated it until they arrived above the plateau.

“Hah... hah... hah... we have arrived... we rest for a while first yes, we rest here five minutes.” said Dirga while regulating his irregular breathing.

After his breathing stabilized he invited Rheva to continue the journey. The girl followed him walking down the place. He looked around to find clues. Arriving in the middle of the area he saw something. He looked at the array where he had met the pack of wolves that had attacked him earlier.

“I think I know the way out and we have to move quickly out of this place.” he said walking ahead of his friend by pulling his hand and walking quickly.

“Hey... What's up ? Why are you like this ? Do you know this area ? You sure you found the way out?” he hesitated to Rheva. The girl did not reply and increasingly quickly walked over while putting on a watchful attitude looking at the surroundings. He did not want to meet a pack of wolves that had attacked him again. Moreover, there were blood stains on their bodies that would provoke the arrival of the wolf.

“Come quickly.. !” the girl told her friend to walk faster.

“But... but why ?” he was confused as to what was really going on.

“I'll explain this area is dangerous later. There were bloodthirsty beasts. And we've made two-thirds of the way to the Hamakua forest.

Now Rheva is not running, instead she is running because she really does not want the same incident to happen to her again for the second time which makes her seriously injured. Dirga followed the girl running.
