Eps. 16 White Eagle

A few days after Master Hideyoshi's departure, Dirga was still saddened by his departure. It had been several nights that he had woken up and waited for the master to come back, but he never came. Even Dirga fell asleep waiting for the arrival of Master Hideyoshi.

One night he woke up from his sleep. He opened his eyes at midnight. This time he no longer heard the sound of the violin playing, or the voice of someone who came to him. Exactly the sound of animals howling. That sound is strange. Not like a wolf or a dog. But the howling sound that almost sounded like the sound of birds chirping, a combination of chirping and howling.

“What sound is it... What sound is it?” get out of bed.

The curious dirga then walked out of the room, following towards the source of the sound. The voice seemed to lead him to continue to step and find the existence of animals that are not yet known what it is.

He walked through the living room slowly, out towards the front of the house.

In front of the house the voice was heard more and more clearly. But he still did not see the existence of the animal.

The voice was still heard and Dirga headed towards the direction the source of the voice was located. It stopped near the wall of the house next to the empty house. Where in the empty house there is an old well to the west of the house.

The voice was getting clearer from the empty house. Dirga looked around which turned out to be quiet, there was not a single person out there at all. Maybe everyone was asleep at that hour.

Because as a child Dirga likes to climb, anything he can climb. Starting from climbing the closet, trees and other high places without experiencing difficulties. It is not difficult to climb a wall. Although the surface was smooth, and there was no foothold there, he could still climb it easily and quickly.

“Bruk..”.

Dirga's voice jumped down, down from the wall and landed beside the empty house. He looked around the house, which only had illumination in the front of the house.

He was sure the sound was coming from around the house. But when he got there, the voice vanished without a trace. He who is still curious and sure if the animal is still around there, continues to look for it. He went around looking for the animal, and finally he stopped in front of an old well that looked unkempt and had grown grass that covered the entire wall of the old well.

Behind the well was a huge cashew tree. Although dark, there are still some orange cashews in the shoots of the branches.

He felt an astral energy coming from the tree. He walked and stopped under the tree. He looked up to observe.

He saw a white figure among the leaves. He circled the tree to see it more clearly. Then he stopped and looked up. He saw a bird with a sharp, pointed beak. The fur on his body was white. The bird is wagging its tail.

Dirga had seen the bird in the wild animal show on television if the bird was an eagle and included in the category of rare birds. The animal is often found in coastal areas. He wondered why the bird Haliaeetus Leucogaster could be here. He never saw the bird in his area.

He tried to whistle, to call the bird. Surprisingly the bird heard a whistle from Dirga. He immediately stopped wagging his tail and was like looking at Dirga with his sharp eyes.

“Siut... shut...”.

Dirga whistled back to call the eagle, but the eagle seemed unwilling to be called and he flew to a higher branch so as not to be seen his existence.

Dirga who was feeling anxious, finally went up to the tree. He wanted to catch the bird.

Dirga grabbed and held the white eagle, but the bird managed to escape from his hand and flew into the air. He felt disappointed not to be able to bring the bird, but already in his grasp earlier.

Failing to catch the rare bird, he came down from the tree. After coming down from the tree, he climbed back up the wall to return to his home.

Now he is in his yard. He walked slowly with heavy footsteps to the entrance of his house. In the middle of the road, he heard the sound of howling.

He looked up at the sky, to be sure. Did the bird come back ? And it turned out to be true. The white eagle flying swooped rapidly towards him as if it was going to eat him.

He ran away, but the bird followed him. He felt strange, why was he flying when he caught him ? And now even follow him ? He stopped after feeling tired of walking around the yard.

As he stopped, the eagle perched on his right shoulder. The eagle pecked Dirga's head.

“Aduh... pain, pain. Why do you peck Dirga ?” he took the bird off his shoulder and threw it into the air to fly free.

He walked again, just a few steps he walked. The bird came back to him again and this time perched on his head.

“Don't follow Dirga, go... go... !!” throw the eagle out.

He took the eagle that was standing on his head, and it made him stifle. He then threw it in the air again.

The bird flapped its wings and flew high into the air and disappeared. Dirga was relieved to see the bird had disappeared. He walked quietly because he no longer followed the bird.

But his guess missed, it turned out that the eagle came back and followed him. This time he did not perch on Dirga's shoulders or head. The bird was in front of Dirga, set foot on the ground and followed him on his way.

“Do you want to come with me ? Wanna come along ? But Dirga did not know should not keep you.” crouched down and invited the eagle to speak.

The eagle swiped his head into Dirga's hands spoiled, making Dirga yabg who had become anxious about the behavior of the animal on that one.

He then brought the eagle into the house. He did not know where to put, because at home there is no sangar or other place that can be used to put the bird, because it was during this time his family never raised animals.

He finally took the bird into his room. He was looking for something he could use to roost the bird. He remembered that he had a chain toy, and he immediately looked for it.

After finding the iron chain he tied both ends to a window trellis and a hat-hanger in the corner of his room. He put the bird there and went back to his bed.
