Last Descendants Infinix
Eps. 44 Rescuers

Seven days have passed. Dirga and his group often do research outside of college hours, just practice the theory they get in school to remember it.

A dark morning covers the earth. The sun hides behind the clouds. That day was empty. Students are free to do activities. There are those who stay in the game class, some who go to the cafeteria, some who go to the basketball court and others.

Nathan and Tomy seem happy to do a little experiment in the lab. Dirga is in the library. He sat on a chair with three stacks of thick books beside him. He likes to read literature or books about ancient history, even though he majored in chemistry. I don't know why he likes to read things related to ancient history. Perhaps because since childhood he had been used to reading such books in his father's reading room.

Initially the room was filled by students but over time one by one students came out of there. Only Dirga was still in the room.

“Kriet..” a seat sound on the slide that made Dirga surprised and turned to the side.

“Rheva..” Dirga turned his head and saw the girl sitting while putting the book she was holding onto the table. He looked at the left hand of the girl who was still wearing a bandage.

“It just so happens.. I look for you everywhere, you don't exist. And now you come to me.” feels guilty to see that bandage wrapped in his hand because of him, for protecting him. Then he held her hand.

“How about your wound ? How does what still hurt ?” seeing Rheva shake and smile. But he kept the bandage open. He wanted to see and heal the wound on his friend's hand with his reiki ability.

“No need. I mean I no longer feel pain.” refused and pulled his hand. But it's too late. The bandage is open. How surprised Dirga when he saw the burn on the girl's hand had healed completely, not even leaving a scar. Though the burn is usually a new month dry while the wound on Rheva's hand only one week has healed completely.

Rheva was slightly misbehaved after Dirga saw the wound on her hand heal. “Ouh... I also didn't think my wounds would heal so soon. You know my father was a medical expert. And he took good care of me at home. He gave me.. I don't know what medicine was in the rub.” pulled his hand and put the bandage back in his hand.

“Yes I know. Lucky for you to have a father who is a medical expert and attention to you.” takes off the girl's hand trying to receive an explanation from Rheva even though it actually remains unreasonable for her and strange.

The girl opened the book she had brought. They then continued reading the book they were holding and were swept away in that black ink sheet.

“daak..” The wind was rushing in through the open window. The two of them were completely unaffected by the wind rushing in and making the calendar on the wall and the painting hanging there sway.

“Cring...” a big lamp swayed violently exposed to the fierce wind.

“ting...” there is one shaky screw that comes off and falls to the floor because it is not strong enough to withstand the weight of the lamp that swings in the wind.

The eyes of the two of them looked towards the floor where the screw had fallen. Dirga stood up from his chair and picked up the fallen screw. The wind again blew hard and made the lights back sway and clatter as the sides clashed against each other.

Rheva stood up and walked towards the window and closed it so that nothing dangerous happened. Just as he was walking and had not yet reached the window, suddenly several light screws fell and instantly the big lamp just above Dirga stood it fell.

The lamp fell so fast and he who was jerking tried to dodge but did not have time. The only way was to stop the shards from falling on his body. But he was worried about whether or not to bring out his power in front of Rheva, because all this time he had been hiding his power from his friends.

Not much time left. Rather than her wretched self, it was better for her to use her strength a little. His eyes turned light purple. He held back the movement of the lamp and dodged and crashed onto the floor.

Rheva who was running at the time because he saw there were still many pieces of glass that would lead to Dirga's eyes doing something.

“Time stopper...!” Instantly time stopped. The wind also stopped. In that room all the objects that had been moving stopped, including the flakes of light glass that would enter Dirga's eyes also stopped.

He immediately pulled Dirga's body away from the splinter then smashed the splinter into dust. How shocked he was when he saw Dirga's eyes that were light purple.

“You hid something from me apparently. I just found out. Why do I not realize that you have special powers ? ” sits near Dirga while holding her body.

“I'm glad you're not as weak as I thought. But sorry I had to do this. You can't know my identity.” Rheva looks sad. Then he erased the last memory of Dirga who had seen him use his powers to help him.

“prang..” the sound of the broken lamp hit the ceramic floor.

Dirga who had been freed from the power of Rheva after he returned the time running as usual realized after hearing a loud noise.

“You okay?” tanya Rheva helped Dirga stand up.

“So it was almost you were hit by a broken glass lamp..” Dirga who had just realized if he had used his eyes immediately deactivated the superpowers of his eyes. After he felt his eyes return to normal and sure his eye color had returned to normal, then he dared to look at Rheva.

“I'm fine.. Thank you for saving me. Thank you, again you saved me.” said Dirga. Rheva was his savior. It had been many times that he had saved her until he had forgotten how many times the girl had saved him.

“I felt something strange just now. Looks like there's a piece of glass left and it almost hit me. But why did the splinter disappear without me knowing it ?” batin Dirga recalled the last incident that received him. Suddenly his head was dizzy after thinking that and he was unconscious.

“Dirga..!” shouted Rheva who was worried about her condition.

The sound of falling lights rang out loud all the way to the next room which made other students scatter into the room. They saw the broken lights and also the unconscious Dirga.

SERIATE....
