Eps. 37 A Shadow

Dirga was still waiting for an answer from the woman who seemed agitated mixed with fear of the look on her face.

“Mother... May I know where Amy's house is? Where's the girl's house?” repeating the question because there is no answer that came out until this moment.

“She... she lives next door to this house.” turns left and points to a European-accented house with a chimney on the right side.

Dirga immediately walked to the light brown painted house appointed by the woman after saying thank you.

“Wait...! Don't there. Don't look for him.” Get out of the fence while shouting. Dirga who had just walked a few steps finally stopped and turned around.

The car drove down the road to the house. Elsa occasionally looked back after seeing Dirga from the glass above her.

In the middle of the journey because of sadness, Dirga faced back and saw the scenery on the streets they went through to relieve his disappointment because he could not find Raneea.

Car speeds become slow because the streets are crowded like there is a festival or such activities there. He accidentally saw a little girl in the crowd walking with a kite. The girl smiled, from the side she memorized the figure of the smiling girl with dimples on both cheeks.

From a distance a girl stopped in the middle of the crowd staring at Dirga's departure. His face looked sad looking at his shaky steps.

“I'm sorry..” said the little girl smiled and turned into Raneea. After seeing Dirga disappear from his sight. He again walked in the crowd and turned into a long-haired girl figure and disappeared in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the crowd.

Elsa, who is finally able to catch up to Dirga, grabs her son's hand and immediately takes him back to the car for fear that his son will get lost in the crowd.

“Don't get out of the car and run in the crowd again! Mama didn't like your attitude earlier.” drove while scolding Dirga and gave her advice at length.

“What... Raneea said? Didn't mama say the boy was not real.” became angry after hearing the name called.

“No ma... Raneea real. He's real not an illusion. Mama can ask everyone at school.” reassured mama but even made her more angry.

“Then when you got off in front of a house earlier, who were you looking for? Don't say..”

“Raneea ma...” replied Dirga looked at the face of her mother who was still angry and then returned to lower her face.

Dirga who knows that mama is angry with him by trying to reduce his anger. “Mama... Wrong dirga. I will not repeat it again.” said solemnly and promised not to repeat his actions again. But the angry mother did not respond. Not a word came out of his lips. He chose to be quiet during the trip home with a chaotic mind that was still thinking about Raneea.

He kept thinking about why the girl had left so suddenly and without a message as well as why her mother could not see her figure.

His head felt dizzy after thinking that. He was also exhausted after chasing after the girl, then he fell asleep. Suddenly the aura in his room felt uneasy and appeared a black shadow that floated above him.
