Fyriel with the faint luminescent glow pondered on the window of her room just like yesterday, staring at the luminous moon in the sky. His mind is fucked. It might have been better if Faye had fallen asleep that night, the night she accidentally heard Kyrion blatantly talking about the young man's feelings for her. It's better if Faye doesn't know about the truth, so feeling burdened like this won't haunt her. This unpleasant feeling tormented Faye so much. Faye knew this matter could not be shared with anyone. And he did not know exactly what he had to do to get rid of this feeling of tightness. The girl breathed deeply.
He saw the tree branch where the prince devoile came to him last night.
Eugene.... What is he doing now?
Do devoiles also eat with family as do the fyriel? Can devoile feel happiness? Can devoile feel love? Is there really only vengeance and evil in the heart of the devoile? How can they survive like that?
******* weight is blown off Faye's orange lips.
But.., Eugene came alone to see me....
His chest felt increasingly narrowed. The excitement that had come out of which direction was so piercing his heart. He raised his own lips.
He wants to meet Eugene. Looking at the devoile again, feeling a floating and light sensation as the young man's red eyes looked at him.
Faye wanted it so much like an addict who wanted the candy. This thought suddenly mastered, he wanted to enjoy the charm of the devoile prince, forgetting for a moment the chaos that was colonizing his heart at this moment.
Faye flicked the tail of the white dress she was wearing. He carefully climbed up the window of his room. The girl turned her head once more, making sure the door of the room was closed. Her father never searched again if he had made sure Faye came in and closed the door. And the fyriel stepped, treading the wet grass with bare feet following the whispers of his heart which had taken possession of him.
Eugene swore in his heart.
His red eyes stared at the scattered Escudo fragments forming a line along the border monument of the Eastern Assyrian Kingdom. Luckily, he saw Escudo's crystal blue glow from a distance while flying earlier. Escudo's flakes won't hurt the devoile, but their darkness will react with the crystal, producing a flash of light that will invite the firiel guarding the tower of the East Assyre Palace to come. It seems that the royal guards had sniffed out the trail of darkness he had accidentally left behind last night when he visited Faye, so they tightened their guard by spreading Escudo shrapnel along the border monument.
Eugene was not wanting any chaos tonight, so he decided not to cross the border. Just sitting pensively on a large chunk of mossy rock in the Deep Forest, not far from the border monument. Eugene could even still see the glittering peak of the Eastern Assyre Palace at night. The Devoile laughed wryly a moment later.
"What am I doing here??"
Eugene. He stole a glance for a moment towards the border monument, then turned away with a sigh. The Devoile jumped down from the large chunk of rock he was sitting on. The sound of his boat treading the grass filled the silence of the Deep Forest, unpretentious to the sound of fat frogs snoring loudly.
Eugene's steps came to a sudden halt. The young man put up an ear, he sure had just heard the sound of footsteps in the grass. He turned his head while alerting one hand, preparing to pull out one of the two swords on his back. Eugene frowned, squinting his eyes towards the thatch field around the border monument. Slowly a luminescent light burst out from behind the grayish-looking weeds at night.
"They're coming? though I had already kept a distance of ten feet from that Escudo line," Eugene sighed with an amused grunt. The young man drew both of his black swords, but his horses weakened as the luminescence drew closer. Eugene lowered his sword as his eyes caught the figure emitting that weak light.
Faye stared at the sword in Eugene's hand.
"No. I didn't mean to." the young man stuttered. He immediately put his sword back into the sheath. "I didn't know you were coming."
The girl did not reply, just standing stiffly not far from Eugene's place. His eyes looked at the young man, but did not stare directly at his face. Eugene fell silent, in fact the young man did not believe what was in front of him at this moment. He did have the intention to visit Faye again tonight, but Escudo's studded border held him back. But now the girl was in front of him. Eugene blinked his eyes once, inexhaustible with all the oddities that had plagued him these past three days.
Eugene raised his face hearing Faye's soft voice.
"Me?" The Devoile laughed. "It's a free territory, so it doesn't matter if I do anything in this place?" The Devoile approached Faye slowly.
"I should have asked you what you're doing here alone." Faye's heartbeats begin again when Eugene gives her a seductive smile.
"I..," Faye's lips sizzled. "I don't know." Eugene's smile faded. He stared at the beautiful fyriel before him with eyes that were difficult to interpret. Eugene moved closer.
"Don't know?" He tilted his head. "Don't you know this place is very dangerous for you? You don't remember that troll who almost killed you?" whispered.
The devoile prince's red eyes ensnared Faye.
"You don't remember me ever wandering around this place?" ask Eugene again. "I'm Eugene, prince of the devoiles. You know I'm very dangerous, don't you? Faye gulps.
"I know that" he replied. "What I don't know is why I came here even though I know it's dangerous for me." Faye's answer felt like a whirling wind that gently caressed Eugene's ears. His pale lips smiled faintly. Staring at that gorgeous glowing face, Eugene could not help but feel the urge to touch her again. Slowly the devoile fingers traced Faye's cheek line.
"Is this painful?" Eugene whispers.
Faye nodded slowly. Eugene laughed a little. "By Freya...., why is it like this?"
A moment of the night wind interrupted the silence. "I can't help it..." Eugene's eyes trace Faye's face.
"When I couldn't get past that border monument, it felt like there was a huge dark stone propping up my chest."
Faye lowered her head, knowing that her cheeks were red with Eugene's fingers. The scent of the devoile perfume was carried by the blowing wind. Faye has never smelled anything like it in her entire life and she feels weird being comfortable with it.
"Look at me."
A bang struck the heart of the fyriel. Faye timidly raised her gaze and immediately found Eugene's pair of red eyes looking at her softly. Faye's breath felt tight, his mind seemed to float. He liked the red color on the iris of the sharp eyes of the devoile prince in front of him.
"Am I crazy?" Eugene laughed softly. "I want you so much, Fyriel..."
Eugene's whisper drugged Faye, as if pulling the girl down into another realm so beautiful that he fell asleep. Faye opened her lips slowly.
"Maybe..." Eugene's pale lips voiced out a laugh. "Can I see you again tomorrow?"
Faye blinked her sparkling purple eyes in the moonlight, a beautiful sight stirring Eugene's chest. Especially when the fyriel nodded slowly, granting the desire to colonize the hearts of the pair of dark and light creatures.
