King Atlura was experiencing inner turmoil. It is not up to the heart to stare at the look on the face of Vortes and his daughter at this time. He could feel the disappointment of the Escudo guard's eyes when he saw his daughter coming and justifying all the accusations made against him. But such great affection overcame Vortes' disappointment with his beloved daughter, leading the man to neglect his self-centeredness and prefer to cling to his daughter's shoulders, strengthen Faye while standing before the king of fyriel.
"Faye," King Atlura opened his mouth with a heavy heart, "with all my respect, representing the entire people of the Eastern Assyrian Kingdom, I ask of you...." Faye gulps. His eyes shook slowly, not daring to stare at such a bright light before him.
"We all don't want war. Therefore, please fulfill Zodic's wish, "please ask King Atlura. "Never get in touch with that devoile prince again."
Faye's lips twitched. His entire body suddenly shuddered at what his life would be like without Eugene. His heart rate seemed to want to stop at that moment. Vortes felt Faye's body grow weak. She supported her beloved daughter's body with her two firm arms.
"Can you do that, Faye?" ask King Atlura, make sure. "For the sake of our nation. Our kingdom."
Faye felt no tears from her purple eyes. The pain dimmed the girl's feelings. All eyes were on the white-haired fyriel, exuding a hopeful look, looking forward to her ability, forcing Faye to nod in the midst of a poignant stifled sob. All the fyriel let out a sigh of relief and thanked Faye for her ability. Their lips curl a smile full of hope.
Only Kyrion stared at Faye nanar, looking at the now seemingly helpless figure. Looking at the light Faye looks dimmer. Yes, part of the girl's life had disappeared.
Only Vortes had a poignant face, rubbed Faye's back then hugged her tightly. Hoping to take all the pain from her daughter's heart for her to feel alone.
And only Faye felt the destruction. Chilly. Weak-headed. The girl continued to cry, sobbing soundlessly in her father's arms.

Eugene opened his eyes slowly. For a moment the scenery around looked blurry and spinning. A speck of extremely cold water fell onto his forehead, making his consciousness return quickly. Eugene flinched and immediately woke up. His hand searched for the sword on his back, but it was nowhere.
"Searching this?"
Eugene swiftly caught the two long black sword blades thrown at him. The devoile's sharp eyebrows frowned.
"Sabria?"
Saber grinned, revealing her shark-like teeth. "Oi."
"Where are we?" Eugene turned his gaze, looking puzzled.
"Deep Forest," Saber replied "I just found this underground cave. Good for a hiding place, right? Actually this is a former troll house." He shrugged his shoulders.
Slowly Eugene hooked the open buttons of his robe.
"I feel so bad...."
"Even your darkness is fueled by your anger, man." Saber stared in concern. "You're back to normal now, after seven hours of unconsciousness."
Eugene glanced at Saber before him. The Devoile was engrossed in burning the fish he stabbed with a twig. Saber's yellow eyes sparkled at the fish, hoping that it would ripen soon. It looks like he's very hungry.
"Why did you take me away?"
"You're a devoile," Eugene argued. "Didn't you think like my father? You don't want my darkness to be perfect and my heart to be as hard as the stone of darkness? Devoile people shouldn't have a prince like me."
"You're also a devoile, aren't you?" Saber can't wait for the fish. Directly bitten by the half-baked fish, ignoring the still burning heat. He gave one more fish to Eugene. "That's just a general thought, Eugene. But you can't hit everyone's mind." Eugene pensively, continuing the burning of the fish in his hand.
"Frankly, I don't understand what's going on with you. How do your mind walk. And if I were to think, you'd be crazy, man. Thinking about love. Connect with fyriel. Against your father the darkness was closed. Oh, come!" Saber hit Eugene's shoulder. "But my instincts tell me that you're my best friend. Therefore, no matter how strange a path you choose, I will help you to walk there."
An amused smile was painted on Eugene's lips. "It's the first time in my life, hearing you say such great words."
"really??" Saber's eyes widened in delight. "My words touch your heart? So dramatic? Wow, I'm cool too!!"
Eugene and Saber laughed together The sound of their laughter echoed and hardened many times within the large, dark cave.
"I'm sorry about what happened to your mother, Eugene....."
Eugene's smile faded slowly. The Devoile nodded once. The fish is ripe now. Eugene whipped it a little with a fingers, then blew it slowly. The warm taste drives out the cold in his stomach when he swallows the tasteless piece of fish meat without the spice, but the hunger makes the fish taste so delicious.
"What's your plan now?" ask Saber. "I assure you now your father is preparing an army to attack Eastern Assyria."
Eugene's throat was blocked.
"What?" Saber was astonished by Eugene's expression. "Not to be surprised. Even though the fyriel girl has already received punishment from Atlura for her relationship with you, of course your father will still attack East Assyre. That was the goal from the beginning. The girl was just a tool to take Atlura and her army. Atlura must have thought your father wouldn't have attacked if your relationship with the girl had been terminated."
"Faye...."
Eugene handed his four-fifths fish intact to Saber and hurriedly put his two sword sheaths on his back.
"Where are you going??"
"Eastern Asyre," Eugene replied without the slightest hesitation. "I have to convince Atlura of this war, as well as how I feel about Faye."
Saber glared then patted her eel. "You're my craziest friend, man!"
A small, defiant laugh from Eugene's lips.
"Don't die there, okay!?" saber exclaimed as she pointed her index finger at Eugene.
"No way," Eugene replied with a laugh. "You could also die from doing this, Saber. It's the same with you taking my father. Promise me you won't die."
Saber smiled with confidence. "I promise!"
Eugene's blackish purple wings unfolded. One flap carried his body no longer stepping on the ground. Those devoile red eyes were staring at the Eastern Assyrian Kingdom stretching out in the distance. Eugene clenched his jaws, bracing himself to face whatever would come his way in the next few seconds, minutes, or hours.
