I FELL IN LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT
Episode 7's

Faye put her half-finished knitted scarf on the bed. The girl yawned, then squirmed her body which felt a bit sore. He held his chin up on the shutters, gazing at the moon while breathing the cold, wet night air in his lungs. The rays of oil lamps from the porches of the fyrielites glowed softly like a swarm of fireflies, adding to the peaceful atmosphere of the Eastern Assyrian Kingdom at night

"Beautiful..," Faye's lips sighed softly.

******* it did come out of his lips, but it actually came from the bottom of his heart.

Faye was lonely. He does have Vortes as his father, Kyrion as an older brother, and Clarina as his best friend. But suddenly Faye sensed that there was another one she did not have. Like Clarina towards Kyrion, Faye wanted someone who could bring warmth to her heart.

Faye covered her face with both hands and sounded a soft groan. A gentle gust of wind brushed her white hair. The girl sighed again then opened her eyes slowly.

A young man in a long black sleeveless robe and black leather pants who looked luxurious was sitting on the front tree branch of Faye's room. His purplish-black hair sheet seemed to gently cover part of the forehead and temple to the sides of the neck of the young man's level.

The gleaming red color of the eyes was conspicuous in the middle of the darkness of the night. A beautifully carved black ring coiled around the middle finger of the young man's right hand.

Faye's eyes widened. His breath seemed suffocating.

"Violet eyes are so beautiful...."

Faye took a step back. His hand was preparing to close the window of the room, but somehow his movements slowed down as the moon shone on the young man's face.

"Eugene....?"

The young man laughed a little. "You remember me? What an honor..."

Yes, bowing his head. "Calm down, I'm not gonna hurt you, Faye."

Faye's heart throbbed violently when she heard her name coming from Eugene's lips.

"Would you come here? If you're looking for Kyrion, come to the East Assyre Palace, and die there."

"Wow...." Eugene's eyes were round. "I didn't know Fyriel could do this."

Faye smiled cynically. "We are not weak, Devoile."

"certain." Eugene shrugged his shoulders lightly. "But please think a little. I'm the crown prince of Western Assyre, where I may have mis-addressed just to find that rotten Kyrion. Is that really information a prince like me knows?"

Faye growled inwardly, annoyed at Eugene's arrogance. Moreover, the young man added a "rotten" frill behind Kyrion's name.

"You want to die young? Wandering the kingdom of fyriel without a bodyguard, snapped Faye. Eugene's lips sounded a laugh again.

"At least that's what I bet to see your pretty face again"

Faye looked at Eugene straight. The young man smiled lightly, a smile that ruffled the defensive fortifications in his heart. Faye felt very sad because she fell in love with just one smile from Eugene's pale lips.

"All right, I think that's enough for tonight." Eugene moved from his seat. "I think I can sleep well, not like yesterday.." Faye's chest is pounding. He felt the same way yesterday. Eugene winked his red eyes. "See you, Faye."

Again those black wings.....

Faye touched her thumping chest. The girl immediately closed the window and lay down on the bed. His fingers stroked the strands of his own knitted scarf.

For Freya and Atlura.....

Why does this black color look so beautiful.....?

Faye's steps towards the backyard of the Eastern Assyre Palace felt so heavy, as if there were ghosts twitching on both feet. As Kyrion smiles realizing her arrival, the girl desperately wants to run back home and hide under the bed. Being ordinary after accidentally hearing Kyrion's feelings was so difficult, it took at least so much effort that Faye's purple eyes widened unnaturally.

"Ready for rehearsal today, Miss?" Kyrion bowed like a prince in a fairy tale.

"E-hm." Chief Faye nodded nervously.

Kyrion furrowed his brows. " Are you sick?" He reached out to check the temperature on Faye's forehead, but the girl reflexively dodged. Suddenly an unpleasant air filled Faye's chest. He realized that he had made a reaction that might look unnatural in Kyrion's eyes, proof that the young man now shone an increasingly suspicious look at him.

"Can we start training?" Faye immediately grabbed a bow before Kyrion opened his mouth to ask again.

"Today's the archery schedule, right?"

"All right...." Kyrion took off her stolen gaze. Faye can breathe a sigh of relief now.

"But you won't wear that bow." The young man took the bow in Faye's hand.

Faye raised both eyebrows. "Then?"

"Escudo...?" faye's lips sizzled in astonishment. "But .., isn't it only the royal family and the guards who can use Escudo weapons?"

"Come on, your father was even an Escudo mine guard, Faye." Kyrion laughed amusedly.

He placed the Escudo bow and arrow into the girl's hand. "The Escudo family of mine guards is a royal family as well, after all...."

Kyrion's reddish lips stopped talking. His eyes looked at Faye, dousing worry. The young man's fingers brushed Faye's hair covering his cheeks.

"I promised Mr. Vortes to protect you in the best possible way."

One sweet smile was on Kyrion's lips.

"Okay, try using it." Faye nodded stiffly..

It might feel heavier than a bow and arrow, but Escudo is the best material for forging a weapon" Kyrion said, crossing his arms.

"The speed and accuracy are higher, so you have to practice to get used to it."

Kyrion's explanation was immediately felt as Faye felt an unusual weight when pulling the bow. The girl loosened her pull again while breathing out slowly, then readied the energy to tighten the pull a second time. Faye's shaking hands and arms held the weight as she had to position the arrows towards the target.

There was the sound of Kyrion's little laughter.

"Really, right?"

Kyrion moves behind Faye. Both of his hands grabbed Faye's hand which was pulling a bow, helping the fyriel who looked very objected.

Faye was slightly surprised as Kyrion's two hands enveloped her hands. He was in the middle of the young man's body. Faye should have gotten used to this position, because it wasn't the first time. Kyrion used to do the same thing when Faye practiced archery.

The difference is, now Faye feels so embarrassed by a position like this. What else is the cause if it wasn't for her thinking of confessing Kyrion's feelings a few days ago.

Shutt!!

The arrow stuck right in the middle of the target

"Wow, perfect grades!" praise Kyrion while letting go of Faye's hand.

Faye stared for a moment at the target of the shoot, then winked like she had just realized from the suggestion of a hypnotist.

"You shot him, Kyrion." He pretended to sulk so that the mess in his brain was not read by Kyrion.

Kyrion laughed crisply. "I'm sorry, you're so limp." His hand weighed the weight of the Escudo bow that Faye had just used. "It's actually mine, forged ten times, it's only natural that it's too heavy for you. I'll ask Mr. Vortes to make one that suits you."

"Dad always listened more to your words than I did." Faye rolled her eyes.

"Oh, yes." The girl remembered something. Immediately he checked the contents of the bag he put on the palace garden chair. Kyrio frowned curiously when Faye thrust a box at him.

"Clarina left it to me." Faye grinned. "For you."

Faye kept a close eye on Kyrion's expression, starting from receiving, opening the box, then taking out Clarina's beautiful cloak and putting it back in.

There was no change at all on the young man's facial line, flat. For some reason Faye's heart ached, imagining that Clarina was standing in her current position and not getting the expected expression of her loved ones.

"The cape is very nice" Faye commented softly.

"Yes...., Kyrion...?"

Kyrion's golden eyes glanced at him. "Yes." Yeah."

"You like...?"

"Are you making something too?" Kyrion switched the conversation. "You've always stayed with Clarina, haven't you?"

Faye nodded. Her breath feels tight.

"No." He shook his head. "I didn't make anything."

A disappointed look from Kyrion's golden brown eyes seemed to slice through Faye's heart.

He hates Kyrion who prefers him. He hates himself.
