"Mas Ilham has friends in Medina, Mom? How come I didn't tell you that? A real Arab, Mom? What men are women?" fawning Yuana however quickly closed her mouth as she felt careless.
Ms. Fatma smiled at Yuana who asked to scout her, because then she became aware that Yuana actually had a little taste for Ilham. Either worry or. jealousy maybe?
"Not Arabs, Indonesians, but domiciles here. Men and women, they are husband and wife. Take it easy, Inspiration is typical of faithful people, it will not be anything."
Yuana became misbehaved and embarrassed herself as well as relieved to hear Bu Fatma's reply which was deliberately teasing her by patting her arm.
Fortunately, the group had walked out of the hotel, so Yuana could immediately cover up her embarrassment because she was impressed like a girl who was jealous of her lover. But he was not Ilham, just a personal assistant.
This morning when the pilgrims went to attend the briefing of one of the great scholars of Medina, Ilham actually went to Ahya Al Jumuah, the district where Jacob and Linda lived.
This is the umpteenth order of the list of plans that he compiled while still in the country. Upon hearing that Ms. Fatma knew the information of Jacob and Linda's whereabouts, then Ustadz Al said that they were domiciled in Medina, then here she is now.
His lips did not stop sholawat, leaning his head on the back of the passenger seat of a taxi. In the middle of the trip, a message came in on his phone.
'Mas Ilham, there are guests who claim to be Yuana's grandparents. How'this?'
'Are they from the Tanoewidjaya family?' sent
The thought of Inspiration was immediately directed to the figure of Ferry Tanoewidjaya.
'Yes, they also asked if it was true that Yuana was being with doctor Joseph.'
'Did they throw a tantrum?' sent
'No, they just cried to meet Yuana, now again pacified by Arief. Poor look at it, Mas.'
'Call me, Yuana is umrah, please pray her blessing.' sent
'Yes, Mas.'
'Wish our efforts succeed, Nis.' sent
Turn off the phone and put it back in the cluth. Inspiration was increasingly convinced by the steps he took, he would never give up this time. If today he fails, tomorrow he still has the ultimate plan. He hopes that his captain now to meet Jacob can get results.
Yesterday morning he also took the time to go to the shophouse of the original Indonesian goods seller for the sake of getting acquainted with Jacob, introducing himself more precisely. He did not mention Yuana at all.
And today he went back there to convey something related to Yuana.
Just when the taxi Ilham was riding stopped in front of the shophouse, another place where Yuana was entering a spacious room like a hall that was blocked in the middle with a group of women worshipers. While the male pilgrims enter through the other side.
In the hall already present in advance several groups of other pilgrims, who turned out to be both pilgrims from Indonesia, seen from each group who wear their own attributes, respectively, like the uniform worn by Yuana.
The reading of the maulid simtudduror had just begun, though without the loudspeakers but felt very shahdu echoed throughout the room.
"He was a native of Indonesia, you know, had been a high priest in the Nabawi mosque as well. His struggle here is also not easy, because it is different from other imams, especially the majority here follow the flow of wahabi even though the official madzhab is Hambali, right?" whispered the girl of Yuana's age who was sitting behind her.
"Yes, fortunately now Mohammed bin Salman made a new breakthrough, Saudi Arabia became more open-minded," replied another colleague.
"Yes, times are always changing. There are always advantages and disadvantages."
"Yes, the important thing is that we can worship quietly and solemnly."
Yuana who heard the whispers of her comrades could only listen, because she herself was replying with Annisa, asking Nabila news.
After telling Nabila news and the state of the house and other things, Annisa sent some photos. But Yuana had not been able to download the photos, there was a greeting from the loudspeaker that indicated that the sheikh, Sheikh Fatah, had come and the study was about to begin.
And sure enough, on a big screen has been aired directly Shaykh Fatah who sits on a small podium is opening a book.
The whole hall was silent after answering the greeting, all waiting for Shaykh Fatah to begin his study. Yuana quickly turned off the phone and put it in the bag, and took a note.
This special Indonesian-language study is held once every week, which is attended by Umrah pilgrims from their homeland and some southeast Asian countries who can understand Indonesian.
When starting the study, the sheikh asked one of his students to read the Qur'an Surat Al Ahqaf verses one through nineteen following the translation.
Apparently this study discusses the book Birru Al Walidaini by Imam Abdillah Muhammad bin Ibrahim bin Ismail bin Ibrahim Al Bukhari or commonly called Imam Bukhari.
The book contains as many as seventy-six hadiths which all explain the importance of filial piety to both parents.
Everyone listened to the study with wisdom, no one spoke for themselves during the study. Adab attending the assembly of science must indeed be maintained so that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala makes it easier for us to accept the knowledge.
The study began.
Ibn Mas’ud asked the Prophet Prophet, "god the Messenger of Allah Shollahu 'alaihi wa Salam, what practice does Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala like the most?”
The Prophet replied, "prayer in time."
"Then, what's more about the Prophet?”
"Then be devoted to both parents.”
"Then what is the Messenger of Allah?"
"Priority of filial piety to the old man is the same as jihad in the path of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala.”
Said Shaykh Fatah who comes from central Indonesia.
Continuing the material, tells about Uais Al Qorni, a Tabi’in from Yemen, intending to go to Medina to meet with the Prophet Muhammad. Arriving in Medina, his wish was foundered, because the Prophet was not there. He decided to return home because his mother was sick. In addition to this, Uais is also willing to carry her mother from Yemen to Mecca, just to fulfill her mother's wish to hajj. His affection has made him put his mother first, rather than his own wishes. Therefore Uais bears the title of Tabi’in the most noble in his time and became a young man whose name is famous in the sky. Shaykh Fatah.
Being devoted to both parents remains obligatory despite differing beliefs. As Sa’ad bin Abi Waqqosh did. He was willing to not eat for three days just because his mother told him to get out of Islam.
"Becile to parents, even if they are not Muslims. As long as they do not ask to worship Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala."
Doctor Yusuf was amazed when he heard the words of Shaykh Fatah, he remembered the parents who had been caring for and educating him were still embracing his old beliefs. Papah Rudi and Mamah Mei. Unconsciously tears began to pool in his pelupukannya, glazed. Open the door of guidance to them, O Allah. Scream the heart of Doctor Joseph.
Ustadz Al, who happened to be sitting next to him, patted Joseph on the shoulder. Joseph made the doctor come to his senses and rubbed his eyes.
Not much different from Joseph's doctor, Yuana too. Even tears not only pooled, but it had flowed non-stop during hearing the speech of Shaykh Fatah.
But he was grateful to have two parents who taught him about Islam, namely Father Bram and Holy Mother. He was also grateful that the biological parents he had never met until now turned out to be selected people who got the guidance of the light of Islam.
Before concluding the study, Shaykh Fatah invited the audience who wanted to ask something related to the description in the study.
Then a man from the congregation asked. He was an adopted son of a married couple who found a baby in cardboard boxes at the end of an alley. When she grows up, she can finally find out who her real mother is. But until now the woman who is known to be his biological mother did not want to admit it, because she was a disgrace, born long before her mother lived in a household. Does he still have an obligation to serve his biological mother?
"A person is obliged to be devoted to his parents, even though his parents are negligent, reckless, and do not care in the care and education of his child," answer the Shaykh Fatah who then turns to the Qur'an verse of Surat Luqman fifteen verses that mention that even disbelief, which is a crime and other sins that are greater than the attitude of abandoning children, is, cannot abort the obligation of the child to serve.
That way, the act of abandoning children cannot abort the obligation of filial duty and good deeds to parents. The negligence of parents carrying out the obligation to care for and educate children, there will be accountability later. While filial piety to parents is the obligation of a child that has nothing to do with the obligations of the parents earlier. Each stands alone with its own responsibility.
"So remain a filial child in the way we can, in a way that does not hurt his heart. Continue to pray for her happiness and forgive her mistakes. As for adoptive parents, although the rights of parents to their children are greater than the rights of adoptive parents. We should do good to the person who takes care of us from childhood, as a form of gratitude for his great service."
Yuana, who initially thought she had been lost since the departure of her parents and her husband, after hearing the narration from Shaykh Fatah so increasingly wanted to meet with her biological parents.
He promised that after returning from Umrah he would try hard to find the whereabouts of his biological parents. No matter how dangerous, he will try to face the risks. After all, there is Brother Jo who is definitely willing to look for them together.
Yuana, who initially thought herself and Jo's sister were both born from infidelity, but both had legitimate biological parents, of course I feel relieved and happy.
He tried to understand that there was a strong reason that his biological parents had to separate and leave them first. And whatever the reason, he wants to meet and regroup as his family should.
"Trust me, you will definitely meet your biological parents and have the opportunity to be devoted to them" said Ms. Fatma who suddenly grabbed Yuana's left hand and held it.
"Thank you, Mom. Ms. Fatma is also Yuana's parents now, allow Yuana to also be devoted to Mother as well" Haru Yuana replied as she felt that Ms. Fatma could understand her current feelings and thoughts.
"Of course, that's why she's soon to be mom's daughter-in-law, huh?" seloroh Bu Fatma though in her heart she was serious with his words, and it was enough to make Yuana's cheeks flushed in embarrassment.
And it turns out that the study still continues with the second question from other pilgrims, when someone whispered something to Ustadz Al who then nodded and listened.
While the doctor Yusuf who was amazed at the answer Shaykh Fatah did not hear the voice of Ustadz Al who called his name after the person who whispered was resigned.
"We have to go into the house of Shaykh Fatah, someone asked to meet with Nak Doctor," Ustadz Al's clap on his shoulder quite surprised Dr. Yusuf, moreover, he heard that someone wanted to meet him at the house of Shaykh Fatah.
Who wants to meet him? Especially in the house of a great sheikh in this city of Medina. He could not guess who it was.
Joseph's doctor followed Ustadz Al who walked ahead of him to the house of Shaykh Fatah which was right next to the great hall, but was not seen from the outside because it was covered with a high enough wall fence.
Until he entered a room that was quite cool and smelled of a soft archery bukhur. The room with the lesehan sofa surrounding the green carpet looked quite comfortable, and there were a few people sitting down, looking towards him.
Joseph's doctor's view seemed to be dragged into the memories of childhood, a childhood that had even been forgotten so many years.
In a garden of green grassy flowers.
"Joseph...here dear," called a straight black-haired woman to his shoulder.
Then he came down from a man carrying him.
Little Joseph ran to the woman, even he could feel her even running with laughter.
But his attention was diverted to two butterflies flying in tandem as if dancing past him towards a flower plant that grew lined up on the edge of a green grassy garden.
He ran to chase the butterflies.
"Joseph.." again the woman called out to him again.
Little Joseph turned to look toward the source of the voice. The woman who called out to him and the man who was carrying him earlier were already sitting on the mat with some snacks presented in front of him.
Little Joseph jumped up and then ran small towards the mat. So happy, accidentally his right foot stuck in the left leg, tightness, until it fell into the well-maintained Manila grass.
Fortunately it was not up to slump because someone caught his body and then carried it.
"Joseph went with us for a walk, you were asked to meet your father and mother now" the man told two people sitting on the mat.
The little Joseph who was confused as to why he was taken away, could only stare at the masygul.
"Fire... Mommy..."
