Episode 21

I can't wait for Rendi to come from out of town to bring my best friend Nanda home to the point that I'm so excited more than usual.

"You seem really happy that Nanda came." Mom said like she was not happy.

"Mama's just afraid that what you're worried about Rendi will come true if Nanda asks you to stay here."

Instantly my heart was racing I was affected by my mother's words, but I immediately dismissed my bad thoughts to Rendi.

"Hush.mama can't talk like that. Clara knows Nanda very well, especially Rendi, mama take it easy." This time I no longer want to think about my husband, I am so sure of his loyalty that he gave me so much evidence.

"Clara, I want to go shopping to the super market."

It did not feel like finally the guest we were waiting for arrived we turned to the door to welcome Nanda.

Who was the first person I hugged? Nanda is the person we are both very moved after a long time finally we can meet again let go of longing. I felt as though Nanda's face was very pale as this was probably due to her illness. When I was hugging Nanda, our eyes were all on Rendi who got out of the car while holding a baby about 5 months old.

"Dutch, you have a child? Are you married?" I asked happily. Nanda just kept quiet and smiled I didn't think it turned out my best friend was married but I'm happy that there was her husband looking after her.

"Where is your husband, Nan? Why don't you take her?" Suddenly my question was distracted by Rendi.

"Rendi wants to say something to everyone." Rendi said that made us surprised and wondered.

"Rendi, we'd better sit down with Nanda" I said. We also sat in the middle room.

"What do you want to say?" ask Mama to Rendi.

I was wondering what my husband would say why he was silent as if hesitant and afraid to say it.
