FROM THE HEART

Episode 18's

After the hospital, I lay in my room. I'm still hurting about the same Rendi who recently started to change, but I can't be so bad-tempered as long as there's no evidence.

Drrrt.. drrrt.. drrrt.

"Assalamualaikum, dear." Rendi.

"Waalaikumsallam." I replied in a lethargic tone.

"Why are you, baby, your voice isn't as usual?"

"Well, just a little tired of just getting home from the hospital."

"You're sick, why didn't you tell me last night."

"I'm telling you you're not going to Ren's."

"Yes, but at least I know what happened to my wife, I don't like you like that kind of secret play."

"I should be angry, not you."

"I'm not mad, I just don't like you lying to me, I'm your husband you should have told."

"I'll be home in a few hours, I'll hang up." Rendi hung up. I was upset at him why he was angry when I didn't mean to lie to him, he disappointed me but I couldn't express my feelings to him.

Until finally I feel sleepy so that makes me fall asleep until I forget that Rendi will go home.

"Guard..." Rendi kissed my forehead.

"Sorry baby, I let you down I know you took the trouble to prepare a surprise for me but I ruined the night I was supposed to spend with you."

"I don't mean to hurt you, maybe it's not worth the hurt I've been inflicting on your heart, believe me baby I love you so much from the heart."

That's what I heard in my ear. I didn't know I was dreaming or it was real like I heard Rendi talk to me and put a ring on my sweet finger. But when I woke up a beautiful ring was already circular but I did not see Rendi.

"I overslept, Rendi where is she?" I got out of bed looking for my husband. When I went downstairs the house was filled with roses. Then light up the love-shaped board decorated with colorful lights that read the phrase SORRY.

Then Rendi appeared from behind the scenes showing photos of our romantic moments from the beginning of our marriage.

It felt like all my anger at him just disappeared. Rendi could always impress me, until I forgot about last night.

"Rendi, you did all this?"

"You, you really don't make me say anything anymore."

"What I can't do, I know my wife must be very disappointed because last night I didn't come so now I'm doing this to persuade her."

"Hmmm..." I can only nod while hitting Rendi's chest.

"This ring, when did you buy it?"

"Every night after calling you, I didn't want to make my wife sad because I was looking for a way to make her smile."

"Do you like it, baby?"

"Very, very, very fond of it." It turns out that my curse was wrong again, I was very stupid to continue suspecting my husband when he did not change at all.

"I have something for you too, come along." I pulled Rendi's hand we went to the room. I took a small box from the closet.

"Open up!" My speech.

"This is what my dear?"

"Look, don't ask too many questions."

Rendi opened her box containing a tie.

"Don't ask for the price." I said because the tie is not expensive.

"I don't have much money to buy expensive ones."

Rendi smiled at me, I thought she didn't like my gift.

"It's the most beautiful tie, I really like it baby." Rendi hugged me.

"Tomorrow morning you must put this tie on for me."

"Sure..but I remember Nanda, you promised to meet me with her, when are you going to bring her here?" Suddenly I remembered Nanda, my sick friend.

"Later baby, once you're cured and the problems we're facing are over, I'll take Nanda to this house."
