One More Chance

Bryan's Residence

The man sat in the backyard with a friend and his assistant. He was still pensive with puffy eyes, the wound in his heart still felt sore because he was disappointed in himself which had made his wife's heart hurt.

"Sir, until when will you sit here, let's eat first Sir.." persuaded Riko who was concerned about the condition of the boss, but Bryan still stared blankly looking ahead.

"Eat a little sir, if you don't eat then you can get sick." Riko tries to bribe his boss to eat but Bryan instead violently throws food that Riko brings for him, Riko is surprised but he remains calm to face the person who is being depressed like his boss.

"I don't want to eat.." lirih Bryan with a sad look lowered his head.

"Alright sir I won't force you..."

"From last night he didn't answer my calls, didn't return my messages, didn't hear from him." Bryan.

"Maybe the lady is still angry Sir, later if everything has improved surely the lady will call you Sir."

"But until when things will get better, I can't do anything, Angelica has ruined my image before my wife and in-laws."

"We find a way out Sir, hopefully we can quickly find the evidence that claims Sir is innocent."

"When you get to Rik, I can't just stay at home like this, I'll pick up Clara right now."

"Yes, you were with Miss Clara yesterday, weren't you?" riko asked trying to remember.

"So, you're buying food too?" ask Kathryn.

"Yes, Mr. Bryan doesn't want to eat, he's devastated to be away from miss, what are you doing here?"

"I also bought food for sister Clara, brother was sad but uncle asked her to part with brother Bryan."

"What divorce? mr. Kusuma got that angry at my boss."

"Did Brother Bryan know that uncle had taken care of their farewell letter in court?"

"Why is the problem getting more complicated?" regret Riko who felt unable to do anything for his boss.

"I don't understand, either, if I can then I'll help, but I don't know much about Bryan's brother, I don't know what Bryan's brother looks like, either, but I'm not sure if Bryan's brother could ever impregnate another woman, I'm sure something must have happened to that woman" Kathryn said.

While chatting with Kathryn suddenly Riko got a call from Wulan who wanted to invite her to meet outside.

"Who called you, is that your girlfriend?" kathryn asked after Riko finished speaking.

"My future wife, sorry yes I live first I have to see him now" said Riko said goodbye.

"So he already has a candidate, when you look around Mr. Riko is a good person, he has a great sense of caring for others." Kathryn inner who can only look at Riko from a distance.

Riko rushes to meet Wulan, without thinking Riko headed to Wulan's house to pick her up there even though Wulan did not ask for it.

After accompanying Audira playing outside the house, Clara also invited her baby to enter the house because the weather also began to heat up. Audira is carried by papa entering the house, while Clara is still outside sweeping the porch of the house that had been littered by Audira when she played earlier.

"ARAAY..."

There was a familiar voice for Clara calling her name several times, Clara turned to face the fence, there was a man standing in front of the fence with a look of a very concerned face.

Clara looked at him for a moment, but then Clara ignored him and was about to enter the house.

When Bryan was about to go to the middle of the road Clara immediately shouted to his name as soon as Bryan's footsteps stopped, and Clara's screams made people inside the house come out after hearing hysterical screams from Clara.

Clara walks towards Bryan and pulls him to the side of the road, while the father follows behind her to watch over Bryan and Clara.

"A coward's man." exclaimed the father seemed to hate seeing Bryan.

"What about suicide will all the problems be solved? have you lost your mind? you're going to make me suffer even more" Clara said with teary eyes looking at Bryan's face.

Bryan just lowered his head without being able to say anything more, Bryan seemed to lose his mind because he loved his wife very much while Clara still did not believe him, yes, it is difficult to restore the trust of someone whose heart has been disappointed.

"You're so pale, you better go home, we'll find a way out." For the first time Clara smiled despite only a thin smile but Bryan was happy to see the smile on his wife's face.

"Do you believe me, if I've never done such a dirty thing Ara?"

"This is what pa?" lirih Bryan though he could have guessed that the envelope contained a farewell letter but Bryan was not sure that his in-laws would go that far.

"That's a farewell letter." said the father loudly.

"Pa, why can't you do this to me, I don't want to part with Clara pa, I love her so much." lirih Bryan pleaded while Clara was just stunned without being able to do anything.

"You're a braggart, I can't let my daughter get hurt by you, just get the hell out of here." the father pulls Bryan's hand and drives him away but in a quick motion Clara holds the father's hand and Clara clasps Bryan's.

"Papa, I've failed, but this time I won't let anyone separate us" Clara said, prompting Bryan to start defending her.

"What are you doing, son, he's not a good man." he said.

"Clara won't be parted pa." Clara tore the farewell letter, papa could only be silent to watch it.

"Well if you want it that way, but never ask your father for help if he comes back to hurt you" said papa firmly speaking to Clara, Clara just nodded she was sure she could get through all this trouble.

Bryan glazed over and he was moved to hear every sentence that came from his wife's lips.

"Does that mean you believe me, Ara?" ask Bryan again.

"I don't know who to believe at the moment, my eyes see clearly the evidence, but my heart always says I have to trust you. If you really do not desecrate the woman's chastity then prove it, give me a strong proof that can convince me and my parents, they believe more in what they see than what they hear... I gave you a chance for that Di..." Clara patted Bryan on the shoulder and smiled.

"I'll prove it to Ara, thank you, thank you Ara, I promise I won't let you down this time..."

"Just fight, if you really love me." said Clara.

Riko comes to the luxury apartment where Wulan lives. He would make a surprise by not telling Wulan that he would pick her up straight away.

But when Riko came out of the elevator she saw Wulan coming out of her room along with the woman who claimed to be pregnant with her boss' child.

"Wulan... How did she get to be with Angelica?" muttered Riko watched them from a distance.

Riko saw his future wife looked very familiar with the woman j*lang. So much curiosity that arises in Riko's mind because he never knew the ins and outs of Wulan even though they have known for quite a long time.

When Riko was stalking the speaker Wulan and Angelica suddenly someone patted her on the shoulder which made Riko shocked.

"Why do you have to be a girl?" ask the guy.

"He's my future wife, ma'am" said Riko.

"Do you know the woman he was with?" tanya Riko switched the conversation.

"Oh that's Angelica's name, deck."

"What's their relationship, ma'am?"

"She said this is her future husband, but how the hell can not know."

"So they were 2 brothers deck, his brother had just returned from abroad now they live together here" explained the person.

Riko held back her shock, before long the mother also moved away from her.

Finally Riko was originally to meet his future wife but now her intentions change to become an investigator after getting the first evidence, she said, from college Riko knew Wulan but Riko never knew anyone Wulan family that Riko knew her parents had died but Wulan never told her about her brother. Riko begins to feel disappointed by the lies Wulan has done.

Before long Wulan was seen stepping her feet to go because she had to meet with Riko outside, Riko who saw her would go directly down the floor to wait for Wulan out of the apartment.

The moment Wulan came out of Riko's apartment immediately intercepted her hand which made Wulan shocked.

"So you and your brother are conspiring to do all this to destroy the Bryan and Clara household. answered me!!!" without further ado Riko immediately asked the point.

"Let go of my hand hurts, I don't understand what you're saying, why get angry." Wulan tried to release her hand from Riko's grip.

"I know everything, Angelica is your sister, right, you're in cahoots." Riko looked at Wulan with a deadly gaze as if she had forgotten what Wulan's status was to her.

"Stop Rik!!!, why the hell do you always interfere in Bryan's affairs, I'm your future wife you have to hurt me like this." Wulan cried but Riko did not care.

"Bryan's my life, maybe if he's not there I won't live until now, Wulan I originally believed in you but after today I'm really disappointed."

"Yes Angelica is my sister, are you satisfied now." snapped Wulan.

"Ohhh.. It's not wrong for you two to conspire..."

"Right, we're doing this for revenge.Do you know who's terrorizing the office by sending the threat package, I did it, so we can take Bryan down." she laughed off.

"I did that because of Bryan, my brother and I had to live separately, my brother ran away from the country leaving me alone in Switzerland, all because Bryan refused their match, my father died of a heart attack because of Bryan, and Clara she was the woman who caused Bryan to refuse his betrothal to my brother." he continued satisfied.

Riko did not expect the woman who would become his wife turned out to be rotten heart.

"One more thing you should know, the child in my brother's cage is not Bryan's son, but the son of his ex-husband..."

"So you know Angelica's not pregnant with Bryan's child, it's too much you Wulan..."

"In the end we managed to divide the 2 people whose love story is very sad, I am happy to see Clara suffer and I will continue to make her suffer." Wulan laughs loosely she not only plays Clara and her closest people but also plays Riko her own future husband.
