Hanens
Inevitably, I was forced to leave the house when Kayla contacted me via message. He told me to come see him at a restaurant.
"Where are you going?" asked Zia who was watching tv. I still wear my jacket.
"It needs to be the same friend. Office people." Lies. I was lying.
"Hmmm ... "
"Just for a moment, not for long" I said reassuringly. Zia nodded. At home now there is a waiter brought from the house of the mother. So Zia can be calmer when at home because she is not alone. By lying, I leave the house. My phone's beeping. I have a message from Kayla. The woman accidentally told the meeting place suddenly. Maybe he wanted me to get caught by Zia.
After traveling for a few minutes, I arrived at the restaurant where Kayla was waiting for me. I took a breath before entering. It feels heavy to have to meet an ex-lover when Zia is pregnant. The guilt is so great. It's different from the old days when I didn't want Zia.
My steps led to a sofa, where the woman was waiting for me.
"Hi" said Kayla with a smile that somehow felt sick to me. I used to adore him. It may be true that Zia is actually the third person in our relationship. Because Kayla and I had a romantic relationship earlier than Zia. But my heart is now adrift with him. The woman who is now my wife.
I sat down on the sofa without replying.
"Hey, don't be so stiff, Han. It's not that we do this often. Dinner." Kayla looks happy I'm not comfortable with the meeting.
"So we're just gonna have dinner?" I asked him to underestimate this unimportant thing.
"Why? You want another one? Like we can do?" kayla's temptation pisses me off. She laughs. Kayla was deliberately playing me. "Eat quietly. We're not gonna do that. We just eat and talk." Kayla pointed at the plate in front of me with her fork.
How can I eat, if it's like this. I hope Zia is okay, always.
At that time Gara appeared with his business partner. At first he did not see any Hanen in this place with Kayla, but a business associate who also knew Hanen told Gara's brother's whereabouts.
"Hey, is that Hanen?" brahman pointed at Hanen with his chin. I looked in the direction this man was pointing. It really makes my blood boil. Hanen is having dinner with another woman. Kayla's. I growl in my heart.
"Looks," I said briefly. I don't want my anger to make the mood of me and my business partners fall apart. Brahman nodded. After seeing Hanen's whereabouts with Kayla, I became unsettled. Until there's a chance we're both in the parking lot. I don't know where that woman is, I just see Hanen walking into her car.
"Hey," I said. Hanen. From the look on his face he was surprised to see me. I'm sure it wouldn't have happened if he hadn't done anything wrong, which was with Kayla. "I don't know how you feel, but maybe I need to remind you again. Don't hurt Zia," my hiss couldn't hold back the anger that had been stored up since.
"What do you mean?" hanen asked looked calm.
"Kaila. I know you're with Kayla tonight. Stop hurting Zia," Gara said furiously.
Instead of dodging or refuting, Hanen simply snorted. "Don't mind my business. Simply take care of the cosmetic company well. The company was very valuable," Han said.
"You don't have to teach me," I said I felt like I didn't have to tell you about it. "I know how to run a company even if it's not as smart as you." Because he admitted that he still lost to Hanen about it.
"Good then." Han said it casually.
"You're a very good person at running Han's company, but you're not a man who's good at keeping a woman's heart. Your wife. You don't know how. You don't know." When I said this, I pushed her shoulder with my index finger repeatedly. Seems unsatisfied because I want to beat him to the ground. But I can't overdo it with Han. Zia who is pregnant, must be hurt if she finds out Han was beaten by me.
"I was once wrong about that. I was wrong, but this time I wasn't having fun with that girl. No," Han firmly denied.
"Didn't you?" That sounds fake to me. Until I snorted belittlingly he spoke. "What you say is not the same as what I see. You're with Kayla tonight. Ye. Isn't your conscience tapped to not continue to hurt Zia?" I clutched his collar impatiently. Hanen let go of my hand violently.
"Urusan Zia is my business, because I am her husband. I hope you understand your position, Gara. You're just a sister-in-law. You can protect her, but you can't get close to her. I thought that time was your only good dream. It was enough then," Hanen said as if reminding me of Kuta's brief relationship.
I was silent feeling defeated. My story with Zia was probably just a good dream. It was only temporary.
