After lunch, this is where they are. They are in the family room. Frans kept his promise to explain what he promised Briel.
"Yeah right. I started to get suspicious of you when you tried to distract us when talking about your marriage to Sela. From that moment on, I'm trying hard to figure out what happened."
Tere sat on the sofa listening to her husband speak. Briel and Gea listen to Frans explain what happened carefully.
"From there, the father asked the father's men to find out what happened. And it's true. On your first day at work, Mark picked up a signal of awkwardness from the two of you. Therefore, I always tell Mark to keep an eye on you two, as well as to find information about who Gea is."
Briel and Gea are stunned by what happened. Briel did not expect it to turn out that the silent Mark had conspired with Frans.
"It's hard enough to figure out who Gea is. But from the hotel's CCTV, it has been explained that at least Gea is your wife. Slowly, Gea's identity began to work for me."
Frans turned to look at Gea. "You are the daughter of Mr. Edi Wiyarta. But you were kicked out of your family and decided to stay alone."
Gea hesitated. Everything Frans said was true.
"But why are Father and Mother the same? Your test of love makes Briel like a madman Well, Bun!" grouch Briel.
"Because Mommy does not want to choose the wrong daughter-in-law. Moreover, you play narik women just to be a wife. Good thing Gege is good. If he's not good? Lucky for you Briel because she's as good and beautiful as she is! That's why you don't play as long as you make irrational decisions. Salah himself did not want to know about arranged marriages," said Tere to seek self-justification. Gege is Tere's affectionate call to Gea.
"But if I knew who my future wife was I wouldn't have married Gea, Bun!"
Tere chuckles. "Yes too." It justifies the word Briel. Briel rolled her eyes lazily.
"Ouruhh Mother's beautiful daughter-in-law."
Tere pinched the gnarled cheek of Gea who was sitting next to him. Gea could only smile awkwardly. Frans only smiled as he shook his head slowly. He was amazed at all his wife's behavior.
"Don't–don't you already know where Gea was yesterday?!" briel. He looked at Frans with a probing gaze, to look at the truth.
Frans shook his head. "No. Dad doesn't know about that. I've been trying to find out where Gea is. But I couldn't find him. This time the information is really very tight. But I'm sure you'll see each other again if you're a match."
Gea just smiled knot. He knew that Bima really– love him and so take care of him. Briel still faithfully listened to Frans' explanation.
"And rightly so. You met before the time's up." Frans smiled at her warm smile.
"How can you be so sure, Dad?" ask Briel curious.
"God .. so if you have that name, Briel," said Tere lazily. Briel frowned. He still did not understand the meaning of Tere's words.
Tere clucking. "Had no CEO but wasn't smart" Tere said.
"Come on, Bun, Dad. Just clear it!" redjul Briel.
"Yohandrian's Name. That name is history in our family Briel." Frans spoke up.
Briel and Gea squinted their eyes. They don't understand what Frans is talking about.
"Yohandrian. The name has a history in our family life. Starting from your great-grandfather, father, and now you."
Frans looked at Briel and Gea alternately.
"Buyut, your grandfather, and father had a unique love story. We find our true love in a unique way. Buyut found his wife for saving his wife from the rapists of the era. He married her without further ado.–basi. Your grandfather married your grandmother in a pretty bitter but happy matchmaking way. While Dad married your mother because of a really ridiculous incident."
Frans' words paused. He laughed for a moment. And Tere too. They laughed because they remembered the events of that time. Briel and Gea were just stunned because they didn't know anything. Tere and Frans grew more and more stupefied when they saw Briel and Gea just stupefied.
"Alright–well, I'll explain."
"So that time ..."
A 21-year-old man, a final-year student, was waiting for a bus at a stop. He left early because he would attend an event organized by the campus. He had a book in his hand for him to read.
The man fell. He was not prepared because he was busy reading the book. But unexpectedly, he fell with a woman in his cage. Not even a responsibility–tanggung. The man kissed the woman's lips in her cage. They both looked at each other. They still can't digest what happened.
Screams sounded. After that they stood straight. They feel ashamed. An awkward feeling slipped within them. They even feel embarrassed.
"Sorry" said the man.
The woman simply nodded while slipping her hair into her ears. He was very embarrassed at the time, but he could not blame the man who had kissed him because it was an accident.
"And after that my father came home. Tahu–tahu at home, I've welcomed your grandparents with great honor. Father at that time who did not know anything else was also confused." Frans stop. He felt his throat start to dry up.
"Bun get me a drink."
Shortly afterwards, Tere brought four glasses of water. Frans took it and drank it because of his thirst for telling too much.
"It turns out there was a journalist there who photographed the picture of father and mother. From there he told grandfather. Grandpa was angry at him, even though it was unintentional. From there, Grandpa found out who your mother is. And it turns out the mother's son from the grandfather's business partner. And yes we've been married."
Briel laughing. He is funny about his parents' stories. He didn't expect that to be so. Just funny. Only kisses with unknown people are they married off.
"Why? Funny huh? It's." Tere laughing.
"Then we laughed, because it was funny" he said again.
The four of them laughed at the ridiculous story.
"Therefore, we believe that you have your own path to find your true love. And true. You got married in an unexpected way" Frans said.
"But still you're a Naughty Child!"
"Wouldn't ask for my blessing" Tere said.
"Wheel off, Bun!" Briel chuckles. Tere just rolled his eyes lazily.
Briel was silent as if he was thinking of something.
"Bun, Dad, I'm sorry when Briel said a sentence that Briel shouldn't have said."
His heart was not good for saying something inappropriate.
Tere and Frans smiled warmly.
"It's okay. Because at that time you must be shrouded in a fog of anger. Mother understands that. Forgive me, too, for slapping you so hard?"
Briel smiled and nodded.
"Gege, forgive mom and dad yes because we you have to endure the heartache of hearing the word divorce and seeing everything." Tere looked at Gea fixedly, full of pleas. Gea nodded and smiled. Tere held Gea warm. And Gea also held Tere warmly as well.
"Have–already. We forget what happened and we keep it as a story. Today too I'll cancel your marriage to Sela."
Briel and Gea smiled in relief. Finally, their problems were one by one over.
