Here he is now. Sit in the front seat of the bartender. A glass with a bottle of alcohol was on the table, in his grasp. His hand was just busy turning–twisting the glass. His eyes stared blankly in any direction, describing how empty he was right now. The thick aroma of alcoholic beverages that he even ignored even though he had ordered.
"Hey Brother! You been here a long time?" greet Xavier who suddenly just appeared from behind him. He draped his jacket which he had loose on his forearm, choosing to sit on the side seat of Briel.
Briel gave a rough sigh. "Not yet." He showed me his drink was intact.
Briel only glanced at him. Then turned his face back, staring indeterminately in the direction as he had previously stared.
Xavier took a deep breath and let it out slowly.
"drink. I'll stay with you until morning."
Xavier knows how troubled Briel's heart is. His wife left without saying goodbye he was confused looking even could have been to mobilize all the Black Lion members, what else if his wife was lying like that in the hospital without knowing when she would return. The body is there but it feels so far away. He chose to let Briel by staying with him.
There was not a single sound from Briel. Briel heard all Xavier said. But he chose to shut up and enjoy his silence.
He shouldn't have been there. He should have been in the hospital with his wife. But her mother, Tere, told her to come out. He did not want his son too late in the sadness experienced. At least he wants his son to breathe fresh air after a hard day. Instead Tere replaced Briel in the night's care for Gea.
With compulsion, Briel complies with what Tere says even though he is unsure of his decision to obey Tere. Not distrusting with Tere who replaced him but rather he just did not want to be away from the wife. And it's true. Emptiness becomes more and more without knowing how to stem it.
There's not a bit of talk there. Briel with his solitude in the crowd and Xavier with a glass of wine in his hand. He still faithfully looked at Briel as he sipped the wine bit by bit, watching and accompanying Briel in silence.
"Where are Nico and Daniel?"
In the end Briel opened the conversation. At least for the pleasantries.
"Hmm .. there is. Maybe they've been wandering around looking for a target."
Xavier did come there with Nico and Daniel, but they separated right after they entered. Frenetic there with scattered adult women who flirt with scantily dressed makes Daniel and Nico not strong faith. Where there are beautiful women and body goals, there they will set foot for the most not just a spread of charm. Or if it allows them to do sports that they really like.
Briel nodded–antuk. He began to drink little by little his drink.
"Why don't you come?" briel asked suddenly made Xavier widen his eyes, looking at Briel sharply.
"No!! Don't equate myself with them. I'm not the one who likes to change partners almost every day."
"Really?"
"Yeah ... Really."
Instantly, for a moment they fell silent. Only Briel's sighs sometimes filled faintly amidst the noise.
"Are you okay?" Xavier is back. If only Briel had been someone else, he wouldn't have been that cool. Or even he wouldn't care at all.
"As you can see."
Briel widens her hand, letting Xavier look at her. Without him talking, Xavier could have guessed it. Xavier just pulled the corner of his lips.
Suddenly, Briel's roar of breath sounded rude. He took his breath in.
"I never thought everything would happen like this. If I wasn't negligent, I would still be with her with two children still growing up in her womb."
There was a lot of regret tucked between the many words he said. The word should always be part of his mind at this time.
"Lucky the age of the content of Gea is in the womb that can be said to be old, even though the age of the womb is only 7 months."
"And the luckiest thing is that they can be saved even though my wife still has to sleep a long time and our two children are still in the incubator. They are fighting. Their mother struggles to get her life back, and they struggle to make up for the day that should still be in the womb."
Briel spoke at length. While Xavier still faithfully listened to his best friend talk without wanting to interrupt.
"I could never imagine my life without them. I could never have imagined."
"A little bit I understand how you feel. And it hurts so much. But never imagine a bad thing that could not happen. That's too painful."
Xavier remembers how he used to be when Elleana was lying in a hospital bed helpless. His world seemed to be shattered in an instant.
"Yeah I know" said Briel blankly. The taste had stabbed him sharply. The fear of loss that haunts him, raining mercilessly even with just a shadow but enough to make his chest tight. He inhaled a deep breath–in took oxygen to fill the lung cavity– lungs that feel narrow.
Suddenly, Nico approached them, ordering a drink for himself.
"Where's Daniel?"
"There was. He's still having fun. Really, it turns out that Asian women are more seductive. His body is like a Spanish guitar and his skin looks more exotic with an erotic voice. Hmmm even though they look smaller. I wish I could live here longer."
Nico still imagines how he went through a small part of the night with the new woman he met.
"Still long?"
"I don't know" answered Nico honestly. It made Xavier turn his eyes panted.
"Ck tell him to finish as soon as possible!" Xavier's Order. His word is uncontested. Nico immediately took out a sophisticated flat object that he kept in his pants pocket. He hit a known number that was Daniel's number.
Soon, communication was connected. From there Nico heard the sound of–, a voice that is ordinary but not unusual for others to hear.
"Hurry finish! You're waiting here!"
From there it only sounds the truth of a dehaman who is actually not willing to be disturbed.
Not long after, Daniel came up with a gloomy face. He dropped himself on the chair violently. He looks so tired. Nico who was beside him only held his laughter with all his might.
"What?!"
Daniel glances at Nico to stop laughing at him.
"Wow wow ... Apparently this time something failed," led by Nico.
"Damnahana!! If it wasn't for you finishing first, I wouldn't have gotten hit either!" he said with his teeth held together.
"Dark!!" Xavier cleared his throat, interrupting the two of them to keep them quiet and remembering who the person who told them to finish immediately.
They both just grinned and then fell silent. Briel was just a little chuckle.
"What about him?" Briel is still curious about Davin's condition. Just by remembering Davin alone was able to make Briel's gaze and voice seem flat.
"There's still. I secured him in a place that his flock could not reach" Xavier said.
"Goody! Don't let him take it easy!"
"Yeah sure." This time Daniel told him.
Briel's mercy for Davin is gone. Davin's actions can't be forgiven with just a word. And he intends to make Davin himself beg them to choose maati rather than live longer.
