"Hey .. let go of me!"
Gea screamed and rebelled, trying to release Briel's grip on her hand. But his power is not in proportion to the power of Briel. The more he rebelled, the stronger the grip became.
"You're taking me to camp"
"Have not asked much! Just follow me!" force Briel while continuing to pull Gea away without even listening to Gea's words until it's done. His divided mind and bad mood made him want to get things done.
"Have known to want to marry, still ask where to take. "germuntu Briel while continuing to pull Gea into the hotel ballroom.
Upon entering the ballroom, Gea was stunned. He spreads his view. Lots of beautiful flowers decorate the room. Whose wedding is this? Why was I brought here? The question ran through his mind. He was confused by what was happening in front of him at this moment.
"Wait!" Gea tried to stop her steps. He held himself back from following the stranger.
"Whose wedding is this? Why did you bring me here?"
Briel stop. To him, the sentence that was thrown from Gea's mouth was a form of Gea's rejection of him. He took a long breath. The weight he felt. He turned to look at Gea.
"So late did you marry me, that you wanted to forcibly take your life by killing yourself on the streets like that?" briel asked in a low voice but implied a sadness and disappointment that he was trying to muffle.
Gea confused herself. There was no intention for him to commit suicide. He did not know why he could cross the street without looking left. Even the desire to die was stupefied when he was already in the arms of an unknown man.
He was silent for a moment. "Married him? When's? Just know no. I just met him now."
"You misunderstood. That's not what I mean, but - "
"That's it, don't need a lot of excuses or buts! Come on, we don't have much time!"
Again Gea's words were cut off by Briel's words. Briel grabs Gea's hand and pulls Gea back by force but the pull does not hurt Gea. Briel took Gea in. Inevitably Gea was dragged in with Briel.
There stood a white-robed priest who was waiting for them. Briel's family accidentally got her wedding at the hotel because the church located near the hotel was also used to hold the wedding at that time.
The priest smiled looking at the couple. He was waiting for their presence. Briel greeted the priest and bowed respectfully as did Gea.
"Okay sir, let's get your wedding blessing straight away."
The mere mention of "master" to her made Briel uncomfortable. Moreover, it was the priest who called him that. That is why Adam called him "boss".
"Sorry, Pastor, don't call me "master". Enough Briel," said Briel with a smile.
The pastor smiled, he nodded. "All right, Briel."
Gea's hands clasped tightly onto her dress repeatedly. The uneasiness had crept in his heart deeper. He wanted to leave the hotel ballroom. However, just as he stepped up, Briel grabbed Gea by the shoulder, holding Gea back from staying there and marrying him.
Gea closed her eyes. "Do I have to do this, marry an unknown man? "
Briel turned Gea's body back to face the priest. Gea follows Briel's will, though her heart is forced.
"Where is your family?" The priest looked out his eyes. But no, there was no one there but the three of them.
"There is something that makes them unable to attend."
Briel answered first. Sadness is evident in every word spoken. The pastor was silent, asking no further explanation. Because he knew, there was a sorrow that was clearly visible in Briel's eyes.
"If you are, Madam." The pastor paused his words for not knowing his name.
"Call me Gea." he said softly but still heard clearly.
"Where is your family?"
"I live alone" Gea replied, looking down. The answer is not entirely true, but it is also not entirely false. He still has a biological father and a blood relative of his father and stepmother but for several years he has lived alone, far away from them.
The priest nodded in understanding. He thought Gea was an orphan. "All right then let's start blessing your marriage."
He began the blessing by giving the provision of marriage. Various household tips that as they should, in accordance with religious teachings, they heard from the pastor. Briel listened carefully. But not with Gea. Gea was busy with her own heart and mind. Lamentation after lamentation sipped in his heart to mourn his life story.
Gea was not completely confused with his life. He was busy with his own thoughts. To the extent that he was unaware the priest had finished speaking.
"Before the Most Merciful God, I, Gabriel Abraham Johandrian, choose you to be my wife. I promise to be faithful to you in good or bad, rich or poor, in good health or in sickness. I will love and respect you all my life until death do you part."
The words of Briel's promise heard in his hearing, made Gea aware of his daydream. Gea's heart rippled incoherently. Briel's loud voice made her want to cry again.
"Is this not just a promise? Or is it just a joke?"
Fear and doubt rule Gea's heart. Gea is not ready to be betrayed again after he is betrayed by the man he truly loves.
Jatung Gea was pounding when it was Gea's turn to say his faithful promise. It is not because of love, but because of great doubt and fear of being disappointed. He realized, in this case he was married not for love.
"Before the Most Merciful God, I, Gea Agatha, choose you to be my husband. I promise to be faithful to you in good or bad, rich or poor, in good health or in sickness. I will love and honor you all my life until death do."
Gea's voice shook. He has made his decision. But he did not know what the fate of the household ark would be. Briel grabbed Gea's hand. He took the ring and placed it on Gea's ring finger, as well as Gea.
Briel stood sculpting. He looked at Gea inside. Gea looked down, hiding his face deeply. His tears trickled again but he soon wiped away from being seen by neither Briel nor the priest. Honestly, he was afraid of the decision he made.
The priest shook his head lightly while smiling as he looked at the attitude of the two of them. Just this time he married a couple who even fell silent when they had officially become a married couple.
"Briel, you may kiss Gea, the woman who has now officially become your life companion."
The voice of the priest was clearly heard in Gea's ears. His heart was racing faster. But he chose to keep his head down.
After a few seconds, he saw a pair of shoes in front of his feet. Briel had eroded the distance between him and Gea. Briel raises Gea's head. He held Gea's chin. Their views clashed with each other. Gea's eyes begged Briel not to do it. She was not ready to give her first kiss to anyone.
But Briel ignored Gea's request. He brought his face closer to Gea's. Gea closed her eyes to accept what was coming next, ready or unprepared.
Cup
Unexpectedly, Briel kissed both of Gea's cheeks. Then switched to kissing Gea's forehead long enough. Gea gave thanks in her heart. Really, he was relieved. Briel did not impose his will.
"Alright, the wedding blessing is over. Congratulations to you both. Be happy until death do you part."
The words of the prayer that were thrown out were bland to Gea. This marriage was not her dream marriage.
"How can I be happy? "
