47. Be late

Briel came out of the bathroom in a towel she was wearing. He smiled when he saw that his office clothes had been prepared by Gea.

"Good wife" murmured Briel. He did not expect this morning that Gea would be willing to prepare what he needed without him asking for it. Last night he did talk to Gea if today he wants to go to take care of work.

Briel immediately put on the clothes that Gea had prepared. He looked at himself in front of the mirror. He observes his own appearance.

"Wow .. The taste of fashion is good."

Briel praised the matching of the clothes Gea had prepared. He did not expect, even though Gea was a simple woman, but Gea was proficient enough to prepare office clothes.

Briel wears a pomade to create a style of hair drizzle. Such a hairdo made Briel look more authoritative.

"Handsome" said Briel as her hand brushed her hair back. His narcissistic soul was still unable to disappear from his life.

In the kitchen Gea struggled with the pot in her hand. He was making fried rice. He put the fried rice on two dishes. Not to forget he added a half-cooked egg on it.

In the midst of Gea preparing breakfast, Briel helps Gea bring two dishes of fried rice to the dinner table. While Gea cleaned up the kitchen that was still a mess. At the dinner table, Briel prepares drinking water for the two of them.

They ate their breakfast quietly.

"Finished" said Gea who had finished washing the dirty dishes used for their breakfast.

He went to his room to pick up the sling bag he used often. In the room he sees Briel taking the file–the file that Briel is about to bring.

"Bang, I'm leaving first!" pamit Gea's.

"Depart with me just Gey, to get there faster!" bring Briel. He could not bear to see his wife went to work using public transportation while he used a car.

Briel simply replied with a mutter. Briel smiled as she shook her head at the adorable behavior of Gea in her eyes.

Gea ran towards the dressing room to change clothes. Gea was twenty minutes late. Apparently he was left behind by the bus. The bus that Gea was supposed to board had departed fifteen minutes before Gea reached the bus stop near the apartment. Gea had to order an online motorcycle taxi that required her to wait up to ten minutes.

He changed his clothes quickly and began to do his job swiftly.

"Gea, you are called Mr. Heri to his room" said Runi.

"It's over" said Gea, biting her lower lip. His fate was already on the verge of life and death.

"Well you, set off misfortune. Don't–don't you play this game," goda Runi. Runi rolled her eyes. Gea rounded her eyes and clucked in annoyance. He patted Runi's back quite hard.

"Actually, our new CEO wants to see you for himself because you're late. But because he has more important business, he takes care of more important things than taking care of you that are not important!" heri sarcasm.

Gea just lowered her head. He felt he had no right to speak here. Perhaps if he was Heri's superior, he would advise Heri not to demean her subordinates. But here he has no such authority.

"Away there! Come back to finish your job. If you're late again, there's no second warning. I will fire you immediately!" Heri resolute.

"Good, Sir. In the future I will work even more correctly," said Gea while looking down.

Then he stood up and left Heri's room. He grumbled inwardly because of Heri's condescending attitude. Mugkin if he was his superior he would give a warning letter to Heri. But he was also grateful that the CEO he worked for was not there. At least he wasn't fired today.

"Where, how's Gey?" runi asked as he watched Gea approach him with an annoyed face.

"I was given a warning letter because–gara was late. But thankfully it wasn't our boss who came to see me. It could be over my history if he came to see me Run," said Gea with a feeling of relief.

"You mean ...?"

"Yes. Actually our boss wants to see me. But not because he has an urgent interest. So yes, I'm safe." Gea smiled brightly.

Gea did not respond to his friend's words. He focused on the work he did. He did not want to argue any longer with Runi.

"Gey, you know what? This morning, a replacement CEO has arrived at the company. He's very handsome and dignified." Runi imagined how handsome the new CEO was.

"Your loss was too late!"

"Where was our old CEO?"

"Lacking to know, Gey. Tomorrow it will be officially introduced. I overheard Mr. Heri and Ms. Ning talking about it. And I saw a new person who was handsome and dignified. He is still young." Runi imagined how the new CEO of the company would look.
