They were in Runi's index. The sound of an open key was heard when Runi opened the door of her room. Previously at the beginning of work, Runi had been invited by Gea to rent with him. But Runi did not want because he could not if he had to use some of his salary to pay the contract fee which is certainly more expensive than renting indekos. He also had to help his mother to send one of his younger siblings who were still Junior High. And when Gea told him to pay as Runi could or did not pay, Runi did not. Because he didn't want to trouble Gea.
"I'm finally going to play at your boarding house again today!" gea said as she laid her body on the bed.
Runi took out some snacks that they had previously bought at the nearest mini market.
"Now!"
Runi gave a box of cold drinks to Gea. Gea accepted it and drank it straight away.
"Nhh …." Satisfied and relieved Gea feel. The thirst that strikes was like it was gone in an instant.
"Thank you Run."
Runi just muttered and nodded with a mouth that started to suck up the cold drink.
"Your room hasn't changed, Run." Gea turned her head observing every corner of the room.
"Yes this way. To be changed like anything will not change. It's not mine."
"It's also true …."
"Haihh .. You have a–ada, Gey," said Runi while shaking slowly.
"Gey?"
"Hem?" suhut Gea who still sucked the drink. Runi just stared at Gea without saying a word. Highlight his eyes wanted more explanation of what Gea had promised.
"Please my best friend, baby! I'm gonna eat a little. Telling stories takes a lot of energy" Gea said as she unwrapped the snacks they bought.
"Goddessa …. It's Geaku, baby." Runi took the snack and fed Gea. A happy smile flashed on his face. Gea happily ate the snack from Runi's hand.
Gea took a long breath. His breathing roar sounded in Runi's ears. He put down the snacks he held. He looked at Runi with a glaring look.
"Must be this story?" Gea hesitated to tell her what she was going through.
Runi nodded and shook her head at once. That confused Gea.
"What's Run?" Gea demanded a clear answer from her best friend. Runi replied with lips that started to pull upwards.
"It's up to you Gey. If you want to tell a story, I'll listen. Who knows, it can make you relieved and reduced burden even though I may not be able to help you. If you don't want to tell a story, that's okay. It's your right to defend your privacy." Runi did not want to force Gea to tell a story. He appreciates a privacy that he can't just force to know.
Gea lowered her head. Again–again Gea sighed a long sigh.
"I'll tell you." Gea looked at Runi.
"Tell me! I'll listen to you."
Gea was silent for a moment. He gathered energy to tell stories.
"I'm married, but not to him."
Gea refused to mention Davin by his lips. Her pain had made a hint of resentment appear in her heart. Gea was silent to see how Runi responded. He saw astonishment on Runi's face, as if he could not believe what he was going through. His facial expression was like saying a word; how could it be?
"Yes. At that time, it turns out that he brought his affair for her to marry. They got married in front of my eyes. He prepared it well. Pain Run, pain! I especially know that woman. Even he was the closest person to hate me."
Gea laughs. But the sound of his laughter sounded bitter and so slurred. Tasteless, there is no happiness even if he laughs. He laughed at the sad events he experienced. Runi looked at Gea grimly. But he did not intend to cut off Gea who was telling a story.
"When they made a sacred promise, I went from there. And at that moment, I met the man who is now my husband. He saved me when I almost got hit by a car. After that, he pulled me and I was taken to the altar. She married me without listening to my explanation, who I really am. He just married me. And I don't know what his motive is and his purpose is. I'm in a state of turmoil, I can't do anything further. My mind is not clear."
Gea paused for a moment. He drank the cold drink back. No more crying on his face. Only sadness and pain radiated in every look in his eyes. Runi felt that pain.
"Yeah .. but fortunately even though I don't know him, he's kind to me. Even though I don't know him and he doesn't know me."
Runi. Although wrongly married people, but his best friend is married by a good man. But it does not rule out the possibility of how it will be in the future, because he also did not know what kind of husband Gea.
"Gey ..." call Runi.
"Hem?"
Runi spread her hands. Gea slammed into his best friend's arms. Comfortable he felt when Runi's hand began to stroke the soft back of Gea. Runi's treatment provided positive energy for him to go through this whole thing with sincerity.
"Patiently Gey. Sorry, I can only listen to you without being able to give you a solution." Runi spoke with regret. He can't do anything but be a place for him to tell stories.
"Gosh Run, it's okay. I'm so happy you're listening to me. It's good to run."
Gea was grateful to have a friend like Runi, who would accompany her in all situations. Just this time he found a friend like Runi. They let go of their embrace.
Runi looked at Gea enthusiastically. "Is she the same age as your boyfriend?" Runi's words made Gea look at Runi degan lazily.
"I'm sorry, I mean, is he your ex?"
"He's a few years older like Run. He is also more mature in nature and attitude. It looks like how he treated me."
"Ecci …. What is this treatment?" goda Runi's.
Gea tore into Runi. Runi also complained of pain.
"Don't think of the distance!"
Runi laughed instead at Gea's expression that was annoyed with her.
"Then how do you call him? Kan earlier you called your ex by name only," asked Runi curiously.
"Devents."
"Did you?"
"Yes brother. I call him 'branch'."
Instantly Runi's laughter broke out. He did not think about this one friend. Why do we have to 'bang'? Why not 'sister' or 'mas'? That's what Rune thought.
"What's so funny Run?" gea asked not to understand.
"Yes you're funny ah. That's your husband Gey, not a meatball or a pedicab or a prankster" said Runi who was still laughing.
Runi was still trying to suppress his laughter.
"Bahh …. Huh …. Mending you call him 'brother' or 'gold' just deh. I'm glad to know Gey when I hear him."
Again–again Runi laughs at Gea calling her husband 'bang'. The ridiculed Gea was finally upset. He threw a pillow at Runi. Runi swiftly caught the pillow.
"There's a reason I call him 'bang', Run. First because he's a lot older than me so I don't want to call him names. Second, the term 'sister' I've used for someone I've considered my brother and sorry Runi, you haven't time to know." Gea laughed mockingly when she saw the face of Runi who was curious about who it was.
"And the third, the term 'Mas' is too romantic for people who are married or have special relationships except family. I haven't opened my heart, Run. Yeahh ... Maybe even if it is a little, not yet wide. Because I'm still afraid of being let down and not ready to feel the pain back when one day he betrayed me."
Gea looked at Runi who was looking at her mercifully. He does not want to be handled by anyone.
"Don't look at me like that. I'm not telling you to be pitied." Gea scooped Runi's face. That made Runi upset.
"When are you going to call him dear?" tanya Runi was curious.
He also cleaned his bag– sling.
"Don't know .." replied Gea casually. He also could not be sure whether he managed to open himself or not in the future.
"Already ah …. I gotta go home. I forgot my husband Run's permission yet."
"Well, how fast? It's still Gey's afternoon, not yet night. You can preach it through your Gey. Then go home, yes," persuaded Runi.
"The thing is, I forgot I haven't asked for Run's number." Gea displayed a row of white teeth.
Runi shook her head, "Geez, my wife doesn't have her husband's number."
"Yes the name also forgets not to remember Run," said Gea then chuckled. Runi just looked at Gea with a smile.
"Yes yes ….. Yaudah careful–heart on the road huh, Gey!"
"Okay Run's. Papai. "the prestige of Gea.
Gea boarded the online motorcycle he had previously booked.
