CHAPTER 2

HEART GAME

"Explain to me what you want because I'm not a fortune teller who can guess all your desires."

I went back to school after two days in the hospital. Of course it makes me tired of just being able to lie down and not being able to go anywhere. Today grandfather asked me to take public transportation, because I can't be too tired. Arriving at the gate I met with regina and walked together towards the classroom. Kely looked at me and immediately pulled my hand away from the regina.

"Amel, why are you walking with regina? Ask kely."

"We passed by the gate earlier, so it wouldn't hurt if I went to class with him, I said."

"But he is, said Kely."

"I know, I said."

"Yes we went to class, Kely said."

We entered the classroom and Yasmin's mother followed behind.

"Kids today we're going to the art room and you're going to show your talent, be able to play a musical instrument which yasmin's mother said."

Once in the art room, we were tested one by one. Me and Kely sat on the back of the bench, to avoid being first. It turns out that regina, Dion and Al are good at playing musical instruments. Regina is good at piano, Dion is good at playing drums while Al is good at playing guitar. It was our turn, we both came forward and explained to Yasmin that we could not play music.

"Mother, I'm sorry but I can't play an instrument or sing, I said."

Yasmin's mother threatened that if we couldn't then we wouldn't be rated, yasmin's mother suggested that we study with friends.
