Anita skimmed WA's message from Angga. Put the phone on the nightstand. Disappointed for sure. But what do you want to say again. He better focus on Rahma who is now struggling with her pain.
Without realizing it, his son's body temperature again rose. Suddenly Rahma convulsed. Anita's panicking. He pressed a button to call the nurse. Anita tries to wake Rahma with the intention of stopping her shock.
Not long after his son stopped his seizures. Not conscious, but Rahma as if in a fainting state. Two nurses arrived at Rahma's hospital room.
''What's up, Mom..??" ask the nurse one.
"So my son had a seizure, Sust... But now it has stopped.'', replied Anita.
The nurse two checked Rahma's condition. He examined the breath from his nostrils, then the pulse in the wrist of Rahma. Without saying anything, suddenly the second nurse immediately ran out of the room. No matter how long the nurse returned with a guard doctor.
The doctor examined Rahma carefully.
The doctor looked like he was breathing.
"How, Doc..??'' ask Anita.
''Sorry Mother... But the mother's child is no more" the doctor said.
As if struck by lightning Anita heard the doctor's words.
''Haahhh..??!! Can't be..!!" Anita said as if in disbelief.
He shook the helpless body of his son. But nil.. The body no longer responds to anything Anita does to it. The doctor tried to calm Anita down.
While waiting for the nurses to release the infusion hose, Anita reported the sad news to several relatives and close friends.
[Rahma was not there ] a short message was sent to her husband Angga.
That night the body was brought home in an ambulance and will be buried tomorrow. Arriving at home, the first person to be seen is the figure of her husband. He picked Anita up from the ambulance and hugged her. "I'm sorry, '' whispered Angga quietly in his wife's ear.
Anita is not flinching. He actually wants to be angry, but it is impossible to do that considering that this is not the right moment. Then he walked over and hugged his mother. Now it is only his source of power.
Now all he could do was chant a prayer for his beloved daughter. He did not move from beside his daughter's body until the next day.
All the funerals have been done. His daughter was in a place of eternal life. One thing Anita believed was that her daughter no longer felt as much pain as yesterday. But one thing is also very regrettable. That the princess could not meet her father for the rest of her life.
The mourners began to say goodbye and offer condolences. They greeted Anita and Angga alternately. Selly and Anggi give a hug so that his friend steadfastly accepts this ordeal. Yoga and several employees at the company were also present at Rahma's funeral.
Anita still silences Angga until now they are in their bedroom.
"Once again I'm sorry", a look of regret on her husband's face.
"That's God's destiny.it's not your fault.'', replied Anita.
''I know you are angry.. But believe.. I love our son too.. I also felt a sense of loss" Angga said.
Anita's tears are spilling. Then Angga hugged her, trying to calm her down.
"Let's get divorced.'', said Anita.
Angga let go of his embrace.
''Don't say the word divorce... This is not a good time anyway...!!'' Angga.
''So when else do you have time to meet me..!! Your time is only for your young wife..!! Is that what you call fair..??!!'' This time Anita was hoping for an explanation from her husband.
''For what reason do you want to keep me..?? Rahma is no more...!!" continued Anita.
Angga sighed.. ''I don't want to..!!!"
Then he stepped away leaving Anita alone in the room.
Now he was crying - so. Feeling tired, he finally lay down and hugged a picture of Rahma to sleep in his bed
