Episode 3 The first day of work at the head office (part 1).

We walked into a very spacious meeting room, there were already many officials of the head office, hotel manager, hospital manager and clinic in Jakarta were waiting, he said, as soon as Madam Maria entered the room everyone in the room stood up and bowed a little bit of her body a sign of respect.

After the mistress Mary sat in the seat of the new front-most President following to sit down. Ari's assistant and I sat on a chair that was already at the side of the room not far from Maria's mistress to lead the meeting.

"let's introduce yourself !" ari's assistant said slightly whispering, I nodded my head in understanding.

I took a breath and exhaled slowly so that no one would know I was nervous.

"good morning, please introduce my name is Lusi Arsinta, I am the secretary of Madam Maria from Surabaya branch office, please her guidance and cooperation to me, so and thank you." I said without hesitation and smiled as sweetly as possible to keep my nervousness out of sight.

Some eyes continue to look at me in various ways, some are willing to accept, some are dubious, some are like indifference, and one that made my eyes curious when my eyes met the eyes of a man about 45 years old.

I tried to ignore it and took a step back giving Ari's assistant space to continue with her duties.

"to the officials and managers who have questions about the replacement secretary, please leave before we start this meeting" said Ari's assistant firmly without any doubt.

"yes director Salim from the R.W.C hotel, please!!" said Ari's assistant gave director Salim a chance to talk.

"thank you in advance President Maria !" director Salim said slightly nodding his head to mistress Maria who was responded in the same way.

"i would like to ask if your name is Lusi Arsinta and works as a secretary at the Surabaya branch office ?" the question that made everyone there confused and looked at each other, So did I.

"yes my name is right Lusi Arsinta and I really work as secretary of the President of Maria in the branch office" I replied firmly.

"how long have you been working there?" the question that made everyone look at each other again did not believe director Salim's question, as if he really did not believe me.

"it has been 3 years." I replied briefly. That made both eyebrows of director Salim wrinkled, it did not escape the sight of assistant Ari and also the President of Mary.

"what's with your question director Salim ?" this time the President of Mary herself asked the question, still with a graceful sitting attitude but with a firm gaze.

"do you mean not to believe in my choice and assume I lied and there is a certain meaning to me with this change of secretary ? that ?" madam Maria asked firmly and a little higher to let people who heard her know that the mistress Mary was getting upset.

"there is no way that director Salim, this is the first time I came to Jakarta during my stay in Surabaya" I replied with a bitter smile.

"i can not be mistaken to recognize people, because I myself who welcomed the arrival of President Ardian Adhitama when visiting the R.W.C hotel with you" he replied without doubt that really makes everyone surprised.

"maybe you are wrong director Salim, I do not even know the President you mentioned earlier, I even just today heard the name of the President you mentioned his name earlier, so where might it be me." my answer was self-defense, and it was true that I did not know at all and only this time did I listen to that name.

"are you sure you didn't misunderstand director Salim?" ask the President Maria.
