DESERVEDLY
Chapter 5 - Lucky

“As in soap opera,” said a girl whose hair was braided in two.

Devano was greeted by Intan. Once he heard the words of the girl, Intan nimbly pushed Devano's body until the deckapan was released.

“I'm fine.” Intan wiped his tears, then stood towards the Devano motorbike.

Devano knew what Intan was going to do. Just let Intan go to the food box on his motorbike, while he calms the children to be calmer like before. Devano assures them that everything will be fine.

Intan came back with boxes of food in her hands. The other two girls were quick to help as soon as they saw Intan. Box rice containing chicken vegetables was distributed, then eaten together while restoring calm after seeing the fight scene.

The children were allowed to eat food. While Devano, he approached Intan who looked aloof near the lake.

“Eat too, yuk!” bring Devano.

“No. Thank you.”

“You want me a bribe?”

“Don't tease me, Dev!”

“Who's flirting anyway, Tan. I just offered. If you don't want to already. I stay, you know!”

“Eh-eh, wait!”

Intan successfully stopped Devano's footsteps by holding the arm of the hand. However, quickly release Intan again because he remembered Devano's previous decapitation. There is a feeling of shame that comes to disturb the heart, to make Intan less comfortable when remembered again.

“Dev, can I know more about these kids? Why did you meet them? Since when, and about Satya .. I was curious about him.”

“Sit on the swing there. I'll tell you about them.”

The story of Devano begins about the children of the clear water lake. Last year, Devano met them while visiting a part of his tourist attractions. At that time Devano and two friends saw small children working to help in the saung, even though it was the day of school.

Starting from just asking, Devano and two friends became acquainted with an old mother who told the condition of some children who were reluctant to go to school and chose to help work.

“You mean, the old mother who brought the children here?” tanya Intan, convince yourself.

“True. Her name is Miss Rumi. He works at one of the food stalls in this tourist spot across the lake.”

The story of Devano continues. With concerned mimicry, Devano explains the condition of some of the children he studied with today. Some just live with their grandmother, some left behind by their mother, some are indeed because the circumstances must help work. So, it takes a special spirit to come to school.

“When I can conclude, they need encouragement to better understand the importance of education, apart from some life problems that make them have to fight,” said Devano.

A year ago, Devano and two friends were only five days of study with seven children. The results began to be seen, and the children returned eager to go to school. Afterwards, a once a month schedule is made to ensure their spirits are not saggy.

“But, the once a month schedule only lasts three times. Because of my busy life and my two friends, the schedule finally did not continue. Luckily, they never skipped school again after that day. And, today .. I was lucky to meet and share a little with them again. Thank you for coming here with me, Tan.”

Devano's tone really touched Intan's heart. It was totally unexpected that Devano would have a story that he thought would inspire those who heard it.

“I too. Thank you for introducing me to the other side of the world. Your story touches, Dev.”

This time Devano's expression changed. For a moment, he probed Intan then rushed towards the back of the swing. Devano pushed his swing so hard that Intan cried out in delight.

“Do not try to write my story in your novel, yes!”

“Hahaha. No will!”

The children stopped their eating activities. Devano asks them to play for a while, while he continues his story on Intan.

“This place, Miss Rumi and the kids are the ones who introduced. About another road to this place, it was the result of my adventure with two of my friends.” Devano smiled to himself as he recalled the moment a year ago.

“Dev, how about Satya?”

“For Satya, she is so special. Different from other kids. The first time we met him, he had a learning disorder. Mild dyslexia. You must be no stranger to that term, right?”

Intan nodded. “How did you know that Satya has mild dyslexia?”

“One of us is a psychologist. My good-friends. He's your friend too. You know him, Tan. Si Reynal.”

“Ya, I remember it.”

“I know, Satya has only lived with her mother and grandmother. From the incident earlier, it seemed like there was a slight problem in their household, Tan.”

“What can we do for them, Dev?”

“Nothing. That's their household affair.”

Pause for a moment. Devano looked at Intan closely. “Tan, why did you cry?”

Alluded to about it, suddenly Intan became embarrassed himself. Actually, Intan was shocked, and a little afraid of what happened. Too bad, the nosebleed that is drawn actually ends in crying.

“Why did you hug me?” Intan chose to ask back.

Just like Intan, Devano chose to be quiet. However, in his heart he smiled in shame because the attitude he had just shown was spontaneous. It felt, suddenly as if it wanted to protect Intan after seeing her tears come out.

“Mama Diamond!”

The chatter of Devano and Intan was piqued due to the screams of the boy running towards Intan. The boy thought that Intan and Devano were dating.

“Darling, why do you call sister by the name of mama, ha?” Intan rubs the boy's head slowly.

“Kak Dev said that Kak Intan is his future wife Kak Dev. Said I could call mom, could keep asking me to describe the toys I like as much.” Light the boy with his innocent tone.

“Dev-va-no!” Intan spelled the name Devano with great emphasis. Do not forget also glances sharp eyes also floated.

It was revealed that Devano whispered to the boy. In order to avoid Nagging Intan, Devano chose to accompany children who were playing. While Intan, he had to obey the wishes of the boy. Intan describes the train while resignedly called mama by the child earlier.

“Tan, are you okay?”

Intan nodded in response to Devano's question while still smiling to himself. His steps swung steadily towards his motorbike, while in his left right hand was full of souvenirs from the old mother. There are bananas, vegetables, and long beans.

“This one is from his father Satya.” Devano gives young coconut to Intan who looks painstakingly arranged souvenirs on his motorbike.

“Fortunatelyaa .. Very happy, deh. Satya's mother's father has made up. The children who are learning today, they are very happy. Now, it's time to go home.” Intan looks happy.

“If this one is from Gion, for mama Intan.” Devano handed me a piece of paper that read thank you. Gion is the most spoiled boy to Devano, who once thought Intan and Devano were dating.

Intan's face instantly changed, not even willing to accept the piece of paper Devano had thrust on him.

“Make you only. You are his father.”

“Means you agree to be her mother, dong.”

“Deeeev! Once again you tease me, I will really interrupt your life!”

“Haha. Yuk, home! Some of your stuff put it on my bike. Let me bring you.”

Intan's attention was distracted by the souvenirs that filled the front of his motorbike. It looks forced. As a result, Intan decided to accept Devano's offer for security. It would be very not funny if later the souvenirs brought actually fall one by one while on the trip.

Intan and Devano motor also drove front behind. Devano led the way in front, while Intan followed behind while occasionally throwing daydreams. Intan's mind is disturbed when he remembers home. Remember the house, it means remembering the match plan.

“What should I do?” Inner Intan.

So late Intan in daydreaming, even though his condition is still on the streets. Until then, Intan lost his focus, and ….

“Aaaa!!”

Brakk!

It happened so fast. When Devano stopped the bike, it looked Intan was lying near the bike.

How is Intan's condition? Looking forward to the story!
