DESERVEDLY
Chapter 48 - Engaging Yourself

The airport area is the latest sight. Just now the plane Devano and Reynal were flying landed safely. A four-wheeled online motorcycle taxi was ordered immediately after Devano requested the full address of Helen's contract.

Not as quickly as I thought. The journey to Helen's rented address is approximately forty-five minutes from the airport area, making Devano have to be really patient to meet Intan.

"The road's jammed, Mas. Going through the rat road, right?" the driver offered.

"It's up to any road, the important thing can be soon," said Devano who immediately got a pat on his shoulder.

"Dev, calm yourself."

"I can only calm down if I've seen Intan directly with my own eyes."

"Then .. drink first. Let your head be fresher."

Reynal thrusts a small bottle of mineral water. Devano's hand quickly grabbed it, then spent its contents in a few gulps. Although his thirst was cured, Devano's mind was still not calm, because Intan's condition was not confirmed.

For a moment, Devano's focus was on Reynal who was busy replying to messages. Devano accidentally captures Sandhi's name on Reynal's phone screen.

"Are there any updates from Sandhi?" asked Devano who did not want to wonder inwardly.

"Sandhi says he's coming back to his town. Regarding her brother Fani, Sandhi promised to take care of her soon. He didn't want Intan involved."

"The problem is Fani. He is the one who must be able to solve his own problems without involving Intan or Sandhi. But if Sandhi's willing to help her, it's another matter. Hopefully not too long."

After that there was no chat. Devano lets Reynal reply to Sandhi. While Devano himself, he circled his gaze out toward the glass of the car. Hope the view outside can give him a bit of calm.

"Will be there, Mom."

The code from the driver made Devano widen his smile. Spirit returned. Soon she will meet Intan, the woman she was so worried about.

Until they hired Helen. Reynal takes care of the cost of the vehicle, while Devano immediately swings a step to the rented yard. Helen was there.

"Hi, Dev. How are you?" Helen greeted me so kindly. Unfortunately, Devano actually hurriedly asked for Intan's whereabouts, not answering the news that Helen asked just now.

"Where's Intan?"

Reynal lekas. He was truly a mediator who could secure the conditions.

"Devano's good, Len. How are you?" Reynal patted Devano's shoulder. As a sign also so that Devano can behave better.

"As you can see, Rey. I'm kind. Come on, come on in!" Helen is friendly again because of Reynal's attitude.

"I know you can't wait to meet Intan. But don't forget the friendship. Take care of your attitude, Dev. Helen has helped Intan." Reynal whispered to warn Devano.

Small nods created. Devano understands what Reynal reminds him of. Devano was just impatient, so there was a rush.

"Intan's still in the shower. I want to see Gion in the kitchen. He was still eating. Wait a minute, yeah."

This time Devano nodded with a friendly smile. He patiently waited while enjoying the warm tea that had been served. It was obvious that Helen had prepared everything. Even at the table there are light snacks.

"Hunger, Dev?" reynal, of course, was joking.

Devano only glanced for a moment without commenting. He continued to chew until a packet of mud cake was eaten. Until then, Devano's eyes were fixed on the figure of Intan who had just come out from inside.

Devano's eyeballs sparkle. His smile also expands. There was a thrill of gratitude, it was great to see Intan in such a fine state as the last time Devano saw him.

Without lingering any longer, Devano stood up. He stepped so quickly towards Intan, then hugged her.

"Dev" said Intan. He was so surprised to get a sudden hug.

Like losing control, Devano just tightened his embrace. To the extent that Intan pushed towards the wall of the rented living room.

"I miss you" whispered Devano, and it only sounded in Intan's ears.

That's when Intan's heart was touched. Spontaneously he returned Devano's embrace equally tightly.

"I miss you too, Dev. Thank you for finding me here."

Helen accidentally saw the scene. Spontaneously, he closed his eyes to Gion, who had not seen Intan and Devano embrace.

"What's up, brother?" ask Gion.

"Some one missed in the kitchen. Gion's coming with sister for a second, yeah."

Helen quickly brought Gion into the kitchen. His chest trembled. There is a sense of jealousy that is lodged but not too deep. Jealousy is still jealousy. And the trigger is a feeling that hasn't gone away. Helen is unable to see Devano and Intan's affection.

Had enough. Reynal did not want to linger seeing the hug scene that he thought was passing. Reynal understands very well, what Devano does is not steal an opportunity. Devano's attitude is spontaneous, but still not allowed.

"Ehem!"

Reynal throttled once to code Devano. And .. succeeded. Devano took off his embrace.

"Hi, Tan. How are you doing?" Reynal codes for Intan to sit on the couch.

"I'll definitely help. Provided ...." Reynal paused his sentence. He glanced at Devano for a moment to be able to see a curious face.

"Asalpro ...." Intan is impatient.

"As long as you and Devano get married. What you just did ... IT'S HOT." Reynal deliberately pressed the hot word while glancing towards Devano.

"Don't listen to Reynal, Tan. He's just jealous of us."

"Don't listen? Just now that Reynal told us to get married, Dev. Do you not want to?" Intan clasped her hands while developing a smile.

Reynal immediately broke down. While Devano, he was confused to give an explanation.

"Sweet sister!" exclaiming Gion who at once broke the chat there.

"Hey. What did you bring that?" Intan changed the look on his face. So cheerful and very friendly.

"Rubrajak. Make the guests eat, brother-in-law" explained Gion.

"Please eat it first. Next up is up to you guys to chat anything." Helen. He didn't eat because he wasn't hungry. Helen deliberately gave a lot of treats in honor of two friends who had come far to pick Intan up.

"Len, can I talk to you for a second?" Turns out Devano hasn't eaten his part.

"Can. Where are you going?" ask Helen.

Devano looked towards the guest table for a moment. Intan begins to tell Reynal about Gion.

"On the side porch only," Devano's pinta.

The rented side terrace looked quiet. A perfect place to chat without worrying heard by anyone, including also will not interfere with the chat Intan and Reynal with Gion.

"What are you talking about, Dev?" ask Helen.

"Thank you for taking care of Intan."

"Oh." Helen just had a good time, because she did not think with Devano who asked to speak four eyes but who said thank you only.

Devano was silent for a moment. It felt like the next sentence was so heavy to say, but still he had to say.

"I'm sorry, because I love Intan. I'll marry him soon. So ...."

"We're friends" said Helen. "We're friends all the time." Helen smiled broadly. More precisely, he forced a smile.

"Em, you know from Intan, huh?" guess Helen then.

"Yes." Yeah."

Is correct. What Devano said was true. Initially Intan did not intend to share the secret. But, he can't. Intan doesn't want to keep anything secret. Be, as Devano was on his way to hire Helen, Intan sent him a message.

"okay, Dev. Forget it, yeah. I don't want our friendship to be okay. Em, back inside yuk!"

"Once again sorry, and .. thank you."

What a short talk. Helen follows Devano's steps into the living room. Actually he was disappointed, but there was a speck of relief that at that moment also felt. Helen chooses to stay in the circle of friendship rather than competing with Intan.

"Gion won't stay with Reynal's sister?"

The question instantly sounded as soon as Devano and Helen returned to the living room. The one who asked was Reynal himself.

"Will my beautiful sister visit me often?" gion asked with his innocent face. He looked at Intan expectantly.

"Kak Intan will definitely visit often. Later Kak Dev will deliver," said Devano kindly. He introduced himself to Gion.

"Sister Dev promised?" Gion raised her little finger.

"Yes. Brother Dev promised."

Devano responded in a friendly manner. Intan touched her heart. It is also unexpected that Devano is willing to involve himself in Gion's condition. Similarly, Reynal, he is also willing to help Gion's mental recovery, including going to find out the motive behind Gion's kidnapping.

Friendly finish. The chat that was made was also felt to be quite enough, either with Gion or with Helen as the host of the contract. Without having to linger, Intan, Devano, and Reynal go home. Gion was taken along. The separation at that time did not leave a burden in the heart of anyone, including Helen. In fact, her heart was much more relieved and prepared to welcome another beautiful destiny.

Meanwhile, in another town, Sandhi is in the doorway of his house. Every now and then he stepped onto the front porch of the house, then back into the living room. Thankfully, my mother was not home. Otherwise, Sandhi would definitely be reprimanded for daydreaming while out for a walk. And, the edges will definitely discuss Nisa, the woman who was once betrothed to her.

Shortly after, Sandhi's phone shook. One message came in and the sender was Fani's older brother Farel. The message contained the meeting time, including the day, the hit, and the place Sandhi had to go. Sandhi's smile had expanded because he did not need to go out of town to meet Farel, because the location of the meeting was in his city. More precisely, not far from the Sandhi campus.

"This is my decision. For the sake of Intan as well," said Sandhi steadily.

Sandhi, he's the one who sent Farel a message. There will be a deal. And, all that Sandhi did for Intan.
