DESERVEDLY
Chapter 19 - Do you remember?

The Moderna Cafe and Resto waiter welcomed the friendly figure of Dhea who had booked a table with the best view. With a light step Dhea gestured Devano to follow her.

There were not many visitors in the area. Visitors to Moderna Cafe and Resto will boom when night falls, because the area presents a display of modern decorative lights that are suitable for use for selfies.

“Please menu, Miss. Our new menu this week is pasta. We also recommend the chicken katsu menu for fans of processed chicken, or there is also chicken geprek sambal like as our flagship menu,” the waiter offered politely.

“Em, blueberry jam filling toast only.”

It was just the snacks that Dhea ordered because she did not know Devano's favorite heavy meal.

“Can we help record the drink too?”

“Bby. Two glasses avocado juice.”

“One only. One more black coffee without sugar.”

Dhea was astonished to hear Devano's order. As far as Dhea, Devano likes avocado juice, especially if added sprinkled sweet chocolate.

“Dev, seriously?”

“I like black coffee.”

“Since when?”

“Since caught rain in coffee shop.”

It seems clear that Dhea did not know about Devano who had been caught in the rain in the coffee shop. For the sake of liking, Dhea chose two cups of black coffee as an order. As for Devano, he did not prevent Dhea at all if he wanted to order the same menu as her.

The waiter returned to repeat the order menu, two servings of blueberry jam-filled baked rice and two cups of black coffee. Unexpectedly, Dhea actually added an order of four packs of chicken rice as a gift for Devano later.

“No need to bother. My mother's cuisine can be untouched.”

“Devano, have you never taught your teacher, hm? Refusing sustenance is not good. So, it must be accepted. Point." Dhea gestured for the waiter to immediately make her order.

At that moment Devano was silent, not because he felt slapped by Dhea's words, but because the word 'guru' that instantly reminded Devano of Intan. This morning at the Star Cafe is still clearly looming. Especially the Intan recognition section.

‘The man who fills the space of my heart, he is the very definition of comfort. He deserves me. Totally deserved to me. He even willingly threw himself into the fish pond, just so I wouldn't get soaked by myself. He introduced me to the other side of the world, about sharing, and the true meaning of happiness. Again, he deserves me.’ For the last time, Devano recalled the sentence that Intan said to Sandhi.

“Dev! Why daydream only, anyway?” dhea exclaimed who immediately disperse Devano's memory.

“It's okay. Directly, what would you like to discuss?”

“Of course about our relationship, Dev.”

“Dhea, sorry. As Bang Yoga said, there is a woman whose love I will pursue. And, it's not you.” Devano.

There was a sense of arrogance in Dhea's heart as Devano expressed his rejection. However, Dhea still tried to calm down and resumed his intention to make up.

“Ngejar just tired, Dev.”

“That's how I felt about you first. I who is clearly in front of you, it is not at all visible.”

“But that was, Dev. Now I realize my mistake. I should have seen you.”

“Should. But in fact?” Devano made Dhea a dead flea.

For a moment Dhea seemed confused as to how to respond to Devano's remarks. In fact, that's what happened first. At that time Dhea loved other figures, so she could not see Devano's sincerity. Until when the lover betrayed his love, Dhea chose to improve the situation with Devano that he had missed.

Long story short about Dhea's ex-lover, he is a man who works with her. A model, handsome, and his throne is good for seven generations. At that time there were many women who pursued him, but the love chosen was Dhea. Unfortunately, the two of them who had had time to plan a wedding finally had to break up because of the presence of another beautiful figure.

“I'm sorry, Dev.”

“Related is always behind.”

Devano's reaction was completely beyond what Dhea thought. The sweet attitude that Devano used to show Dhea, right now is really no longer the same.

Dhea started to let out a surprise. The necklace with silver pigeons he took out of his small bag. With a fluffy smile, Dhea showed Devano the necklace she was holding.

“Remember you about this necklace, Dev?”

Devano's originally calm attitude suddenly became disturbed because of a memory. Devano's reflexes turned his eyes to the right, hoping his stance would not be swayed.

“See a minute, Dev!” pinta Dhea with a serious-sounding tone.

“What is it?” devano asked as soon as he saw a photo of an initial birthday cake decorated with DD, which stands for Devano-Dhea.

“Do not pretend to forget! This cake also gave you that time.”

Pimply. Devano recalls an old memory of his feelings for Dhea. Devano's heart was pounding too, automatically also confirmed that the name Dhea still occupies one of the chambers of his heart even though it is not dominant.

However, Devano tried to stand firm by recalling his intentions to Intan. The memory of the brother's speech also contributes to his intention. ‘Befit it's proof. If you love someone, prove it. It is not constantly gathering opinions about speed without any intention to fight. No hesitation. Keep going until you manage to say I love you.’

“That's the past,” Devano said later.

“Then, what's wrong if it's the past? We can improve and make it a new story for the present, Dev.”

“Sorry, Dhea. I told you, there's a woman's love I want to fight for.”

Dhea's hands spontaneously clenched due to the scourging. “Who is he?”

“Simple woman who has a lot of fans,” Devano said in response. He remembered Intan who had a hobby of writing novels to make him have many fans.

Dhea was digesting Devano's sentence. How can a simple woman have so many fans? That's how he thought.

“Which beauty is the same as me?” Dhea did not realize that her question this time was so wrong in Devano's eyes.

“More beautiful she. Because he never saw the physical to label someone as one definition of comfort.”

This time Devano's smile expands as he remembers the part of Intan's sentence that calls itself the definition of comfort. Devano is also increasingly convinced that he is the man Intan means.

Brak!

Dhea's regret was already unstoppable. He kicked the table and asked Devano for clarity.

“Last chance, Dev. You select him ... or I.”

“Sorry. I can't live in the past. So ...”

“OK. No need to explain anymore.” Dhea put on her bag, then stood up. “Excuse.” Dhea pamit's gone.

Devano has no intention of pursuing Dhea. To him, Dhea's attitude had just shown the end of their story. It's time for Devano to refocus on Intan.

Devano's smile which had originally only expanded lightly, was now widened as he caught the figure of Intan. Yes, Devano saw Intan from a distance, looking right-left to find a comfortable seat. There was one who instantly made Devano grateful, Intan did not see herself sitting at the same table as Dhea.

“Intania Zhesky, it looks like you are the matchmaker prepared for Devano Albagri.” With his PD Devano said so.

Devano's steps swayed about to approach Intan. One chance for him to straighten out the misunderstanding that had occurred in Cafe Bintang. However, Devano's steps are only two steps because there is a waiter who delivers orders.

“Ck. Shit.” Devano is upset because in the end he is the one in charge of all the order bills. Devano rushes to the cashier table, finishes the payment, and then goes back to meet Intan. Too bad, Intan was out of sight.

Devano does not know that Intan is in the toilet, while Mira's figure is covered by the waiter who is recording the order. The intention to search for Intan was already there, but one ringing of voice calls instantly changed his intent. Jefri called Devano.

“Halo. What's up, Jef?”

“Wire, Bro! Nawat!”

“What's wrong?”

“Cannot be explained by phone. You come quickly to work. Anyway really bad!”

“Now?”

“Do not arrive next year!”

“OK. I'm going there now.”

The phone call ended. Devano is looking for Intan. It is the place that is currently the destination. What's so bad? Curious? Looking forward to the story!
