About a month ago, one of the Thousand Islands residents who used to fish there accidentally found something on West Island. The fisherman immediately reported his findings to the relevant parties. Responding to such an unusual report, the police and army immediately came to the location.
The items they found were confirmed to be firearms and other military products. Therefore, the authorities immediately closed the Muara Angke Plantation and checked every inhabitant of the Thousand Islands. They are trying to find the masterminds related to the possession of these weapons. However, until now there are still no suspects set by the police.
All weapons found on Pulau Dua Barat were taken to Jakarta for inspection. Because the issue is seen as an act of terrorism that can threaten the country, the president takes it seriously.
At the presidential palace, all the ministers and presidents discussed this thorny issue. The ruling resulted in the establishment of a first-level alert that triggered the increasing military activity, especially in areas adjacent to the Thousand Islands. The Navy Army and Air Police also patrol the waters frequently, but there have been no satisfactory results.
One week later, Arman Siregar was sent to Jakarta as the president's continued efforts in the face of the crisis that plagued the old capital.
Arman is the current defense minister. He was sworn in about two years ago under a direct request from the president. His last rank was an Air Officer I of the Air Force who joined the special unit Bravo 90.
As defense minister, Arman was ordered to attend an important meeting in Jakarta. He flew from the capital to Jakarta to preside over an emergency meeting on the country's defence.
The people present at the third secret meeting this time were still the same as before. They are people who are experts in their respective fields.
Representatives from Palapa Inc appointed Maria Latifa as an expert in the field of robotics technology. Abraham, the director of a state-owned military manufacturing and weapons company, sent Denis Nasution as their representative. The representative of the University of Indonesia is Atem Allatif as a chemist. In addition to them, each military force sent each representative and Arman also borrowed several detectives from the police to follow the discussion.
The meeting began with greetings from Arman as the discussion leader. He explained some of the important points they got from the previous discussion just as a reminder. After all the important points were put forward, Arman began the discussion by inviting Maria as the one in charge of technology to explain the results of his latest findings.
"According to the results of our study, the robotic design found on Pulau Dua Barat is a design that has never been seen before. The driving power uses a gear system and the digital network used does not use binary code. To date we are still trying to decode the underlying motor motion system of the robot."
A glasses girl in her twenties explained everything she had found. Although still young, Palapa Inc handed over their futuristic technology development to him. So, no one in the room underestimated his statement.
"So, the digital system in it is not based on binary numbers like a computer in general?" One of the detectives asked to clarify Maria's statement. Perhaps he was afraid that people who were experts in other fields did not understand this important point.
"really so. This is the first time we've seen such digital code. Maybe breaking the code will take a while." Mary answered the question asked of him.
"Alright, we save this matter for later. What about the weapon lying next to the robot?" Arman turned his eyes to Denis.
Everyone started whispering to each other when they found out how powerful the great weapon was. If indeed such weapons could be mass produced, the development of war weaponry would change towards a different era.
Arman who realized this potential slightly frowned. However, he did not want to discuss this crucial matter in front of other civilians. He will discuss it later along with representatives from other military forces after the discussion is over. Instead, for now he would discuss other topics first and ease everyone's anxiety.
"The weapons also come from different places, huh?" Arman pondered for a while before returning to speak. "What about that weird tube we found?"
"The tube is only a means of reducing water. At first there was nothing special about it at all. However, physicists at Palapa Inc in collaboration with Mr. Atem found this surprising." Maria glanced at a middle-aged man sitting next to her. He gave a signal to Atem Allatif to explain more details about the results of his research.
"I along with other chemists from the University of Indonesia and physicists at Palapa Inc discovered a strange subatomic particle stored inside the battery of the reduction tube."
Hearing Atem's words, Arman was rather curious. He remained silent to allow Atem to discuss further his findings.
"The particle we named while as electronia, a particle that has basic properties such as electrons. However, unlike electrons in general, these particles are not electrically charged directly so they cannot be used as a power source for electronic equipment. Surprisingly, the process of electrolysis of water that should require electricity from the outside can be replaced with these particles. The result is a highly environmentally friendly hydroelectric power generation process."
Once again, the participants were surprised by the findings of strange objects that appeared out of nowhere. At first everyone thought that the equipment found was just simple objects that are commonly encountered. They never expected that the technology hidden within it was much more valuable than its outer appearance.
"So, simply put, that tube is a portable power plant?" Arman became enthusiastic after hearing Atem's remarks.
"really so. If only it could be mass-produced, we'd find solutions to other environmentally friendly energy sources besides harvesting solar radiation."
"That's exciting news. Continue your research. Even if this isn't my part, I'll still help you as much as I can."
"Thank you very much, Mr. Minister."
The discussion continues for the next few hours. However, there are no other new discoveries. They only discuss the details they have found and determine the steps that will be taken in the future.
As the day began to afternoon, Arman closed the discussion today and set the schedule for the next discussion.
