"No. I can't talk about this on the phone!" reject Hans in a slightly deep tone as it feels a little strange with the rejection from Lana. As long as she knew Lana, never once did the girl reject her. The girl will help or do whatever she or her sister, Sasha, asks. Lana's rejection was clearly visible in Hans's eyes.
"Do you have any other plans after work?" hans asked with eyes looking at the woman's face. Hans still had a look on Lana's face while Lana was talking and laughing with another man. I don't know what it was, but Hans didn't like it very much.
"There is no sir. I just don't want to miss the bus to get home."
"Then I'll drive you. I never knew where you lived after you left the dormitory for college" Hans said.
Lana gave a small smile when she realized how stupid she was. His love clapped one hand. The man in front of her already had a beautiful and sexy boyfriend that never cared about her whereabouts. It was evident when the man did not find out where he lived when he could ask Sasha. Lana vows to herself not to hurt her heart anymore and will soon forget the man in front of her.
"No. No need, Sir. I can wait for the next bus. The bus will come after an hour and fifteen minutes. So I can only talk to you for an hour!" lana said with a formal tone and eyes that looked down at the table.
"So if there's nothing else. I'll see you around! I have to work, Sir. I'll get a reprimand from my boss."
"Who will rebuke you? Did you forget that I took over the company a few months ago?" hans asked who was astonished by Lana's change in attitude towards him. There is no more smiling or behaving like a young girl in love. Lana's current attitude seemed to avoid and reject her. Obviously that made Hans very uncomfortable.
"Yes, I didn't forget. I'm just doing a lot of work, sir." replied Lana briefly and thought inwardly that she should immediately look for another job even if necessary outside the city.
"Then I'll see you later." added Hans leaving Lana standing in place.
Hans strode quickly towards the elevator, passing by some servants who gave him respectful greetings but only replied with a nod by him. Hans is angry with Lana's change of attitude. She doesn't like it. He thought about the taste of the girl's lips when he kissed her. Only Lana can make a Hans Alexander lose control of himself. He never felt that way to another woman or even to Joy Callista. Though many men will be willing to change positions to be able to get Joy. But not Hans, all this time Hans just thought that Joy looks no shame when there is a party or introduced to his business partner. Joy makes herself comfortable because the girl is unlike any other girl who demands to be married. However, only Lana Adelia could make him tempestuous and angry at the same time.
Too upset in his mind, Hans was already sitting in his car seat and the driver asked where they were going.
"Where are we going, sir?" ask again Ian who has been the driver for a long time.
"Sir..."
Hans was aware of his daydream. "We're back in the office, sir." Hans orders short.
Hans can't wait to see Lana back later in the afternoon. He thought back to when the girl had rejected him wanting to drive her home and would even only give time for her for an hour. Hans is determined that he will find out where Lana lives and will find out with Lana's sudden change of attitude.
The girl looks beautiful and professional in a professional work suit and pink blouse. Her hair was curled and the scent of her perfume was delicious. It is very different to how he dresses when he is out of the office. The woman's clothes showed her curves even though they were not too obvious, making Hans remember when he was fondling the woman. Hans gulped and pulled his hair back. Feeling very frustrated over himself and the woman's attitude.
