Chapters 21. Recognition

Aza exhaled, feeling that her taste had changed perhaps. His father said he liked the taste of strawberries, in fact he felt ordinary. In fact, he tends to be interested in coffee flavor variants. I want to try it, but the ice cream is not over.

"Why?" Anton asked, as Aza was just stirring up her ice cream

"Son, I used to love strawberry flavor, huh?" Aza asked, although it remained flat anton hot coldly heard her.

"Eeee.m, it looks like it is. The proof is that now you're eating strawberries, is it good?" Ask Anton.

"It's delicious, but its rich I'm more interested in the taste of coffee." Aza's speech was more like a mutter.

"You want the coffee taste too?" Anton asked, a flick of light emerging from those clear eyes.

"How about this ice cream?" Ask Aza.

"Let the brother finish." Reply Anton, then move from his seat to order ice cream that Aza wants.

Aza who waited was just observing the atmosphere of the shop, not quite crowded. There were only a few young men in the corner of the room. Surprisingly Aza's gaze met with a girl who was also staring at him. The glasses girl went to approach her, Aza was confused.

"Emmm... Anu's... Aza, are you healed? I'm sorry yes, I was actually accidentally over the ospek accident first." The girl said awkwardly.

"You know me?" Aza asked, the girl nodded.

"Yes, we're one campus, one class even. But you haven't studied yet, you've moved to college." Aza frowned hearing her.

"Moved?" Ask Aza to make sure.

"Yes. I'm so lucky to meet you here, I'm really sorry and thank you." Riska observed the back of the man waiting at the ice cream stand.

"That's why I went back to my place, sorry to bother." Aza did not reply, even so Riska was gone.

Silently, contemplating the incongruity he felt in his feelings and thoughts. Until he was not aware that his brother was in front of him, Anton himself was astonished at Aza who was silent like that.

"Why baby?" Ask Anton worriedly.

"Aza?" Ask her again when Aza doesn't press her.

"Emmm... Is your brother here?" Ask Aza confused.

"Don't dreamy habits ah, not good." Said Anton while pinching Aza's thin cheeks slowly, Aza blushed reprimanded by her brother.

"Sister," call Aza slowly.

"Yes?" Reply Anton.

"We rarely see each other?" Aza asked, Anton just fell silent in surprise.

"I feel alien and miss you guys, it feels so strange right? Maybe that foreign feeling was because of my lost memory, but missed it?" Aza... Who else? A question that he himself was confused about.

"It feels awkward, whatever busy you guys, surely we meet often, right? Except..." Aza stopped, wanting to see Anton's reaction. Sure enough, Anton waited for the continuation of his sentence.

"Our relationship is not good" he continued slowly.

Anton's heart feels free-fall from heights, how can Aza's intuition be this precise despite her memory loss? Nor can he answer carelessly, if he lies... There is a future that can show the facts, if he is honest... Not ready to accept Aza's reaction.

Anton holds Aza's hands, trying to convince the girl.

"From the beginning I was suspicious, there was a girl who met me and claimed to be my friend at the college that I did not know that I had been a student there. Your love that I think is excessive, as if we never met. The clothes in my closet are all new, which means... Have I not lived with you all this time? Just after therapy, I overheard some of my father's talk with Dr. Raden. Is it true.... you guys.. is... trauma in my life?" Ask Aza, Anton himself has paled. His stomach acid suddenly rose, making him almost uprooted due to questions from Aza. How did everything happen so fast?

"Ka...grandfather..?" The brown-eyed girl moved from where she approached her sister.

"Sorry, you can't answer." Anton tries to calm down against the pain, reaching for his cell phone to call the private driver.

"Eat her ice cream next time?" Anton said after contacting the driver, Aza was silent.

***

A few days after the incident, Aza felt her family was ignoring her. Or even his father and brothers who are reluctant to meet him. And now it's a weekend, where the Kusuma family is always at home to enjoy the weekend.

It had been waiting since the morning that no one met him, because upset Aza went to Gavin's room.

"Sir Gavin!! Open it!!" Shouted Aza. After screaming a few times, Gavin opened the door with a clumsy face. Aza entered without waiting for Gavin to ask her or not.

"I ask you to be honest, what are you guys hiding?" Asked without further ado, Gavin was nervous about fearing mispronunciation.

"So, I'm afraid Aza misunderstood me, you call Dad and the other brother." Gavin.

"Call it." Aza said, now the girl is sitting on the sofa of her brother's room.

"Yes, my brother called. Take a shower first." Gavin went into the bathroom with his phone.

"Aza in my room!!!" Gavin sent a message to his father and three brothers. Then after that he did his excuses to the bathroom, to take a bath.

Thirty minutes passed, Hendri and his four brothers had gathered in Gavin's room.

"Aza asks you to be honest now, or Aza is speculating worse about you." Said Aza, hearing that Hendri knelt before his daughter.

"Before that, please... Whatever the fact, Aza don't go anymore." Pinta Hendri's.

"Again?" It's a new question for Aza.

"After hearing the statement, Aza can hit, get angry, yell, cursing, dad..." Hendri.

"Indeed, we are the source of your trauma, every corner of this house is a bad memory you have. You must have forgotten it, because you really want to forget it. Two months ago, you were diagnosed with dissociative amnesia. Amnesia caused by stress is on the verge of limit. For five years you chose to stay outside Kusuma, refusing mental treatment so that you could live a better life.... Dad himself is confused as to how to explain it to you. Our story is very long, in your present condition it is impossible to listen more. Because you're gonna force your memory later." Aza stared dissatisfiedly at Hendri's explanation which was just a glimpse of it.

"Dad can't force you, we'll try to help you regain your memories. Please enjoy this time... With us. Since I doubt Aza can still be this close to us when your memory is back, after that I will free Aza to pursue what Aza wants." Hendri added, Aza was getting confused and upset.

"Ja...in essence, you all have done me harm to cause trauma? And I seem to hate you guys so much that I've been living alone for five years, which means I was 13 then?" Aza asked to confirm, her chest suddenly felt tight when she wanted to talk.

"To this day it's enough here first, son, for your own health. Dad resigned, if in the future when Aza began to remember Aza's past through a therapist and began to hate us." Aza shook her head.

"The past should have passed, right? Even if the pain is still felt, it is just selfishness. I want to see for sure, there are fathers and brothers who love me. Why should I be sick again? Is there any way I can't remember the past?" Aza asked, Hendri and the others were stunned.
