Chapter 42 Missing Wife

"Dad parted with that woman? Mom just believed after what she did to our family?" ethan was not very confident in his mother's decision.

Ethan is very upset at all while Mom has no choice but to accept her husband again because she still loves him so much and does not want to lose him.

"Mom gave me one more chance because I thought she was like that because of Mom too. Mother often does not obey every word and even always makes her angry," explained Mother.

"It makes no sense to explain. I hope you're divorced and I'm starting my own life instead of accepting cowards like Dad" Ethan said.

Ethan came out to his father, he kicked him out of this house because he was no longer needed here. There is a fight until the neighbors break up their family quarrel, Mother asks Ethan to stop all this and accept his father again but it is not that easy for Ethan to accept his father.

"She's cheating and they've had children, for years they've been hiding all this and Dad's been acting like nothing's happened but God's not sleeping, all of Dad's secrets are exposed and I won't let my mom get hurt again by this brash guy" Ethan said in a passionate tone.

"Ethan, that kid's not Dad's. The woman tricked Dad and framed Dad until he was dead-end to marry her" Dad explained.

"The door won't open if no one knocks. Know what that means? Father who had knocked on the door first on the woman until the woman dared to take advantage of Dad. Cheating is cheating."

Ethan goes into the house, if his father doesn't leave this house then he's the one who's going to leave this house, he's got all his stuff and he's going to go somewhere. Mom apologizes to Ethan for giving Dad a chance because she believes that he was framed by the woman. Ethan's two younger siblings prevent Ethan from leaving because he still needs his older brother rather than his father who has made him so hurt.

Ethan gets in the car, he deliberately goes to calm himself down. He who was tired because he just came home from work did not know where to go and continued to drive his car just like that. Until one day he leads to a boarding house that he used to occupy with Ainsley and another one is Azam. It's possible that the man would give her permission to stay overnight.

Ethan's hand looks at his phone again, he tries to call his wife but the number is off. Ethan is getting more and more disillusioned and wants to get to Ainsley right now to see how things are going there. Ains is 2 months pregnant and she is not like everyone else so it makes Ethan feel guilty allowing her to live abroad alone.

"Doctor Ethan?"

Ethan turned his head, he saw Azam who had just come.

"Doctor Azam, can I stay tonight at your boarding house?"

Azam thought for a moment. "Let's go in!"

Ethan was so happy, they went into Azam's room. Azam said goodbye to shower first so that his body could be fresh and Ethan waited in the television room. As a single man

"Have you finished the bath?" ask Ethan.

Azam gets a drink in his mini-fridge and he gives it to Ethan. They drank together and Azam noticed Ethan's sad and moody face.

"What's wrong?" ask Azam.

"We talk in casual language because it's outside the workplace" Ethan said.

"Let's know, I don't understand my life's problems. So many problems come in turn and I can't afford to face them."

"I don't know what kind of problem makes you feel weak like this but I hope it's resolved quickly."

Ethan looks at Azam, he knows that the man in front of him is a good person and that even they are not that close Azam allows Ethan to stay here.

"The biggest problem is that Ains hasn't returned my messages and calls since morning. The number is off and can't be reached" explains Ethan.

"really? Let me call."

Azam then tried to call Ains but not raised at all even his number is not active. He sent a message to Ains but only ticked one.

"Since this morning like this?" ask Azam.

"yeah."

"Is this what makes you so sad?" ask Azam.

"The heart of the family lies with the wife. If the wife is sad or disappears like this, the family will not be calm and harmonious. I can say that because my mother experienced it herself. My dad cheated on me and had another woman."

Ethan tears again, Azam gives Ethan a handkerchief. Ethan wiped his tears with the handkerchief and felt he failed to be a helper for Mother and wife.

"Doctor Ethan, you are a great man who can worry about your wife and mother. Hopefully, Ains is quick to tell you while your mother gets the strength to deal with it" Azam said.

"Thank you Azam."

They then decided to eat together at the food stall across the board. Only this time they became close when Ethan used to give distance to him. They eat together and exchange stories even Ethan only finds out if Azam is a little older than him.

"I should have called you brother" said Ethan.

"No need, we are almost the same age and I am not married either" Azam replied.

"You're handsome and well-established, there must be a lot of women waiting for you."

"I wonder why you went all the way to Russia just to see Ainsley? Do you like him?" ask Ethan.

"Ainsley is my woman and I love her very much. Don't you take it from me! Just a day of not getting word from him has driven me crazy especially if I have to part forever with Ainsley" said Ethan.

Ethan goes back to eating his food and keeps looking at the phone. Azam is very rude to Ethan because the man also just got into trouble with his ex-lover himself.

"Ainsley told me at the time that her husband was a good man and patient in dealing with her. Ainsley also said that she loved you so much, so there was no reason for me to take her away from you" Azam said.
