Chapter 24 Meeting Reena

"Where are you going?" ask Ethan.

"To your grandmother. He doesn't know what Ainsley's face looks like yet" Dad replied.

Father still has a mother in a village, he wants to see the wife of his favorite grandson. Ethan looks at Ainsley's face, and he feels uncomfortable leaving without Ethan.

"Dad, Mom, next time I'll be on vacation. So I can come with you. Ains must have been very awkward to meet my grandmother without me" Ethan said.

Ains was just silent because he did not want to, instead of anything he had been traumatized by being treated badly by them, especially his mother-in-law. Father and Mother must be disappointed, Mother's face became sour while Dad understood.

"All right, next time" said Dad.

"I told you it's free to take Ainsley. He won't, '" said Mother.

Ains apologized, he admitted his body was not good. He was afraid that it would be troublesome on the journey later. Mom and Dad left, and Ethan left because he had to go to work.

After their departure, Ains decided to clean up the boarding room.

Ethan hasn't invited him to see Ethan's newly renovated house. Ethan is still busy in his work and if he has a holiday he claims to be tired.

Ainsley cleaned up everything in his room including cleaning the bed that had been smudged for days by their night spots. They do it is not counted let alone Ethan considers this is still a newlywed who should not be wasted.

"I'm sorry, who are you looking for?" ask Ainsley.

The woman instead hugged Ainsley tightly while crying bitterly. Ains was confused but as a woman who saw another woman crying she became unbearable, she stroked her back to soothe the woman.

"Why are you crying?" ainsley asked very innocently.

"Darren...."

Ainsley scrunched her forehead as the woman mentioned her brother's name. Does this woman know Darren?

Ains then released his embrace and stared fixedly at the woman's face.

"Who are you?"

"I'm Reena, your sister's ex-boyfriend. I just heard back if he died? He's buried there? Why not just take her to Jakarta so her friends can know and come on her last day."

Ainsley explained that sending a body from country to country requires a very large cost than bringing a living person let alone a trip from Russia to Jakarta is very far away. Ains also wanted her brother buried in Jakarta but the hospital gave assistance in the form of a free funeral for Darren and got compensation from them.

Reena also sees a doctor's coat hanging by another man's name of course it's Ethan's.

"Ethan? That belonged to his best friend Darren?" ask Reena.

Ainsley nodded her head explaining that she was married to Ethan who was a friend of her brother. Of course Reena is shocked because Ethan was her ex-boyfriend in High School.

"I think Ethan's with Stella. Stella is still a grandmother to me. He's my brother and I was shocked when he was about to marry someone else" Reena said.

Since Reena had noticed Ainsley's extremely thick make-up even like a clown, Reena smiled a little she knew if Ainsley was a bit different from the others. He helped her make up so much better and remove all the makeup that Ains had polished from the beginning.

"Make up is not just for playing polishes. There must be a good hand game. Let me help you."

"really? Thank you, brother."

They have just met but are directly familiar especially Reena is a good person and fun to talk to even though she is the ex-boyfriend of Ains' own husband. Reena also told me that she broke up with Ethan because of Stella. Reena had a feud with Stella because it could take a lover from her own brother but in the end she released Ethan for Stella and then Reena decided to date Darren who is Ethan's friend.

Their romance is so complicated that Ains is very dizzy thinking about it but he sees Reena's face like a very sincere person.

"So my sister is married?" ask Ainsley.

"Yet. I thought I'd wait for Darren to come home. He also promised to meet me and propose to me but this half year he disappeared as if without a trace. He blocked my number for no reason. I had sworn him off because he was a coward but I regret that I only found out that Darren was sick and died" Reena said.

Reena wiped her own tears. He was too stupid to judge someone, he tried to smile and then continued dressing Ainsley.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell my sister, because Darren never said anything about my sister" Ainsley replied.

"What's wrong, haha. You must be sad because you lost your brother. Sorry to talk about him" Reena said.

"What's wrong, I've got Ethan. He's Kak Darren's replacement."

Reena hugged him tightly, it seemed like they would become good friends since Ains was comfortable with Reena.

Reena then continued to make beautiful makeup Ainsley, she also invited him to shop at the mall.

They set off in Reena's car, seeing Reena can drive her own car making Ainsley envious. He'll ask Ethan to teach him how to drive.

Mom didn't budge, she took all Ains' groceries. He's clucking because Ainsley's wasting Ethan's money.

"Mother often send rice, oil, sugar to you to save money. Did this buy a kayak gini? You should think! Ethan's still building a house and it's not yet, you're spending the money" Mom said.

The mall's visitors began to notice them while Ainsley just lowered his head.

"I'll change the money. I took Ainsley" said Reena. The woman took the note in Ainsley's hand. He saw how much he had to replace. "Two million a hundred, I'll change now so I don't have to scold Ains."

While taking the money in her bag, Reena drops her business card and Ainsley takes the business card. She was shocked because apparently Reena was a doctor as well, more precisely a psychiatrist. It's worth talking to Ainsley feels connected once.

"This is Ains money, sorry to make you scolded by your mother-in-law" said Reena.

"So you're a doctor too?"

Reena nodded. "I work at hospital X. You can come to consult me about your complaint."

For some reason Ainsley is insecure, Ethan's two ex-lovers are doctors while she's just an autistic woman who can only trouble Ethan.
