Chapter 27 I'm Pregnant, Mom!

"What the hell are Ains?" ask Ethan.

"I could be her sister, I've been playing with Darren, playing doctor" Ainsley replied.

Ethan laughed at Ains' plain words, he shook his head in amusement and continued to examine Azam. The man had a high fever and had to be hospitalized to get better treatment but Azam refused because he did not like to be treated even though he was a doctor.

"No need, I'll just take my medicine."

Azam got up from the seat and stepped out, Ethan drove him to the front. He was very anxious if someone was sick but did not want to seek treatment, when Azam was about to open his own boarding door suddenly and fortunately Ethan helped him not to fall.

Ethan and Ainsley help to get inside Azam's room, Ains turns on the whole lamp while Ethan helps Azam lie on the bed. Ethan tells Ainsley to take a towel and cold water to compress the man's forehead.

"I can take care of myself" Azam said.

Ainsley came carrying a towel with cold water, Ethan swiftly compressing Azam's forehead. Azam is a nomad, his family is in Kalimantan so if sick no one pays attention to him. Azam also has no lover so if sick like this no one knows but fortunately he has good cost neighbors like Ethan and Ainsley.

Ains also took a heat-lowering drug in his room and gave it to Azam so that it was drunk immediately.

"Awhile, Doctor Azam has eaten?" ask Ethan.

Azam shook his head.

"Eating first can immediately take the drug" said Ethan.

Ainsley took food at his boarding house, fortunately their dinner was still a little leftover so it could still be given to Azam. Ainsley feeds the man patiently while Ethan doesn't mind it because if he feeds Ethan it becomes awkward.

"Why are you guys good?" asked Azam while chewing.

"To be good doesn't need to have a special reason, right? But I remember your kindness to Ainsley for buying her food so often" explains Ethan.

"Sorry, I don't mean anything to Ainsley."

Ethan nods in understanding, he sees that Azam is indeed a good person and Ethan does not deny that sometimes he is banged up in looking after the special Ainsley.

Azam stopped eating when it had reached 5 more spoons, the taste of the food became bland because the fever made his tongue feel stiff lifeless.

Ethan quickly tells Azam to take medicine, Ains notices that her husband is very good and has a high spirit of help. After that there was only silence because they were both silent, Azam looked at them intently, he was very amazed with Ethan because he was so dear to Ainsley who was an autism.

"We go home first. If there's anything you can knock on our boarding room door," Ethan said goodbye.

"Thank you Doctor Ethan."

Ethan and Ainsley get out of there, and they get into their own room. Arriving in Ainsley hugged Ethan tightly because he was proud to have a good husband in need.

"Here you go, I'm going to sleep, tomorrow I have to work" Ethan said.

"Well, I'll put you to sleep by rubbing your head" Ainsley replied.

Ains rubbed Ethan's head gently, he stroked it with warmth, ains touch makes Ethan lulled into a beautiful dreamland but just fell asleep suddenly Ethan dreamed of coming to the wedding of someone he knew but surprisingly even he wore a bridal suit. Ethan looks for Ains figure to and fro but there is none and instead meets Stella who is wearing a wedding dress as well.

"My husband" Stella said, making Ethan shocked.

"Where's Ainsley?" ask Ethan.

"Who's Ainsley? I'm your wife."

Ethan does not believe that and instead runs to find Ainsley's whereabouts, he sees the woman instead joining Azam with an enlarged stomach as if pregnant.

Ethan pulled Ainsley. "the NSAID? Why are you with him?" ask Ethan.

Ethan suddenly wakes up from his nightmare. Ains watched her wonder even as she panicked as Ethan shouted. Ethan hugs her tightly while kissing Ainsley's forehead, for some reason the dream seems real to Ethan.

"What's wrong?" ask Ainsley.

Ethan shakes his head, saying it's okay and keeps pecking Ains' heads.

"Nightmare?" ask Ainsley.

"Hopefully it didn't happen, I'm afraid of losing you" Ethan replied.

Ainsley felt that Ethan was sincere about him, this was proven if Ethan was getting spoiled by him alone. They then returned to sleep because the next day their activities were still very much.

Next day.

Ains was nauseous and was already inside the bathroom, his stomach was very turbulent as his nose became sharp when he smelled the smell of the bathroom which he thought was rotten. Ethan, who has just woken up, is surprised by Ainsley and knocks on the bathroom door.

"Darling, what's wrong?" ask Ethan.

Ethan opens the bathroom door and sees Ainsley limp, he holds her up to get out of there and notices Ainsley's face is pale.

"Ains baby?"

Ainsley looked at Ethan's face. "I'm pregnant."

Ethan's eyes bulged in shock, Ainsley's plan to surprise him with a special event becoming a failure as he was not strong enough to withstand the turmoil alone.

"Pregnant? Really?" ethan asked as if he didn't believe it.

Ainsley took some of his tests that showed two red lines. Ethan looked at him closely and his tears flowed, he still could not believe that he would soon become a father.

"When do you test all this?" ask Ethan.

"It was a few days ago and aided by Doctor Azam. I wanted to surprise you but I couldn't stand the pain alone. Every morning I get sick like this and it's like my life is being pulled out" Ains explained with a manyun.

Ethan rubbed Ains' head while apologizing, he was not aware if Ainsley was pregnant with his child, his happiness was not contained anymore even repeatedly the man kissed the forehead of his beloved wife.

"How many weeks pregnant?" ask Ethan.

"Not yet, I haven't come to Doctor Azam," Ainsley replied very innocently.

Without a second thought, Ethan immediately carried Ainsley out of the boarding room, the new couple was very excited once more Ethan never kept his image just for imaging. This is him with all forms of expression, if in the hospital he is cold but other than if he is with his partner, he will be a good and loving figure.

Azam came out, he was better. He sees Ethan holding Ainsley, announcing to all the residents of the boarding house that his wife is pregnant and he will become a father. All the residents of the boarding house are very close to them and feel happy.

"I'm going to make a small thanks, I'm going to treat you guys to work tonight" Ethan said.

"Well.asshorts! Eat for free" they answered happily.

Ains asks to get off Ethan's sling, the man does not want to and still wants to carry him. Azam was happy with their happiness and hopefully one day he can feel all that.

"Mas, put me down! I'm ashamed" said Ainsley.

"Thy? Ains, dear, I'm so happy. This shows that you will have my mother's blessing" Ethan replied.
