Chapter 18 Tragedy on the Bus

"Doctor, this lady is your wife? He collapsed in front of the hospital with a bloody face. Our doctor has treated her" replied the nurse.

Ethan looked at Ainsley who was asleep, rubbed his cheek gently and Ainsley woke up.

"I'm falling" Ainsley answered lying.

Ethan watched the wound closely and not like a fall wound.

"Who hit you? Why would he dare to beat a weak woman like you?"

Ainsley was silent while shaking his head,

Ethan keeps asking repeatedly until Ainsley wants to answer if all this is because of an incident on the bus where he caught a thief who was about to steal the wallets of mothers and after being caught by Ainsley instead he does not accept.

"I'm going to report to the police, I'm going to ask the bus for evidence of CCTV footage" Ethan said.

Ethan rubbed his face rough. "Ains, here I am not to play around but to work. Not good with my partner or boss if I go out often."
