Chapter 6

The day that awaited arrived, Lyn who was still in charge of cleaning the CEO room rushed in to start her work.

Edgar who several times saw Lyn who was cleaning his room diligently felt that something was wrong from Lyn's data. Edgar sees from her work that Lyn is indeed a professional girl who can distinguish between her obligations and her opportunities. 

The more Edgar saw Lyn's gestures, the more he was curious about the truth of Lyn's life history. 

When it was finished, Lyn stood up to the CEO. 

"Wait for my assistant to come and talk about it" 

"Sit down on the couch, you're exhausted." He pointed to one of the sofas in the room.

"Thank you sir, but I'll wait here." Answer Lyn slowly.

Edgar looked at Lyn's somewhat pale face "didn't you listen to me?"

Lyn just nodded slowly and headed straight for her ceo-appointed sofa.

Just 5 minutes waiting for Milo to come with a short-haired girl of Lyn's age. Lyn woke up from her seat stepped onto the CEO's desk rather slowly.

Seeing that sight Milo asked Lyn "miss Lyn are you okay? Looks like you..."

Uncompleted Milo asks Lyn to suddenly fall unconscious. It made everyone in the room panic. Edgar immediately got up from his seat of greatness approached Lyn and immediately held her and turned to Milo, looking at him,

Seeing that Milo just silently stared in disbelief with a slightly gaping mouth. His whole life was only this time his extremely cold, untouchable best friend could touch a girl, even carry her. 

Usually if anyone dared to touch her fingernails even if it was accidentally, Edgar would hit her not even hesitate to threaten to cut off her hand.

"The body is so hot, call doctor Lice!" Edgar's orders.

Edgar immediately took Lyn into his private room in the CEO's room.

Hearing the order from Edgar, Milo immediately realized and immediately called the doctor in question.

After calling, Milo told the girl he had brought to wait on the sofa. Then Milo turned to look towards the CEO's private room. 

'That boy looked a little panicked, and he said what, Doctor Lice? Huh, even he called the family-only female doctor for the girl' muttered in Milo's heart while waiting for the arrival of doctor Lice.

After 20 minutes the waiting doctor came because Lice was on her way. Milo invites Lice's doctor to check on Lyn's condition. 

After waiting about 10 minutes. Doctor Lice finally came out of the room and headed to the sofa where the young master was waiting.

"Young master, it seems like the girl experienced physical violence that was not just a one-time. Almost all over his body there were minor injuries and many bruises that varied from the level of color, which made his body have a high fever. You'd better take him to the hospital for a detailed treatment, seeing from the reaction of his body I'm afraid there's a part of his body affected by the infection." 

"I've also given him injections to reduce the infection. You can take her to the hospital after she wakes up later."

"Then excuse me young master." Doctor Lice's pamphlets are then escorted by Milo.

Edgar nodded without seeing Lice.

Hearing Lice's long words, Edgar stiffened. Somehow when he found out the girl was not okay Edgar felt a sense of not accepting.

"Doctor, I hope you can keep this a secret." Milo said, leading Dr. Lice to the elevator door.

"Don't worry sir, I understand my duty" replied Lice with a smile and entered the open elevator.

A few minutes later Lyn awakens she is shocked because she is in a spacious room, she wants to wake up but she is weak. And also he was confused when there was a girl who was waiting for him. 

Lily who understood Lyn's confused gaze immediately introduced herself kindly.

"Ah Miss Lyn, you are well aware; introduce my name Lily who will accompany you during your time as the secret designer Mr. Edgar." 

Lily walked out of the room to tell the CEO that Lyn was conscious.

"You awake? Let's go to the hospital." Edgar said coldly.

"Don't bother sir, I want to go home" Lyn replied in a very slow tone.

"Look, just to talk you can't let alone step out of this room, huh. Don't let you pass out again and trouble this company because of your pain"

Edgar immediately held Lyn without cue, it made Lyn's heart beat because the first time his body was attached to the opposite sex other than his father. 

Edgar hears Lyn's heartbeat holding back his laughter and seduces her.

"What is this sound? Looks like there's a beating heart running."

Lyn just kept quiet and embarrassed.

Milo and Lily who followed him from behind, looked at Edgar with astonished faces. 

'Is my boss his head in water? It could be that he was teasing a sick person.' In Lily's heart.

'this boy.since when can he tease a girl' in Milo's heart while looking at Edgar and Lyn's heads alternately.

When the elevator door opened, everyone who saw it was shocked and whispered to each other. 

Feeling the center of attention Lyn is very agitated. Edgar who was aware of Lyn's attitude immediately calmed him down.

"If you're ashamed to be seen, you can hide your face in my body"

Sure enough Lyn immediately hugged him tightly, drowning his face in Edgar's neck, he was so embarrassed to be seen by the crowd and was also afraid that people would hate him for being too close to the CEO.

Just contact the entire company building so excited. How not, the cold CEO was untouchable and no matter what it was this second was holding a girl, and more surprisingly the girl was cleaning service. It was really confusing to them, how could his super cold and handsome CEO care about girls cleaning service?

Edgar was very uneasy with everyone who was gossiping about him feeling irritated.

"Milo you take care of this furore" Edgar ordered in an exasperated tone.

Edgar puts Lyn in the VIP room. It makes Lyn even more uneasy with her CEO.

"Master, this is too much. I can be treated in an ordinary room." Said Lyn in a disjointed tone because of the pain she was feeling.

Edgar sighed "Not to think about it, just follow my arrangements."

"We'll be home soon, you'll be accompanied by Lily. Your foster parents we've already called. We have to pay."

"Thank you" said Lyn very slowly almost inaudible and then fell asleep because of the dope that began to work.

Edgar just nodded then looked at Lily, Lily who understood only nodded slowly.

A few minutes later Sari and Sarah come and see Lyn sleeping. Then they were shocked that there was a girl waiting on the sofa.

"Ah introduce my name Lily I am a special escort for Miss Lyn in the design work ordered by the CEO."

"Yes, nice to meet you, lady. I'm Sari Lyn's adoptive parents and this is my daughter Sarah." Sari said kindly and Sarah nodded politely.

"What.. The CEO took the goddamn kid to the hospital in his cradle?" Shakila screams when she receives a call from someone.

"Immediately find out the continuation!" 

Shakila hung up the phone and held the phone tightly in her grasp

'why the CEO could care about that pathetic boy'
