Chapter 16

After returning home from college Lyn went straight to Edgar's company because he wanted to ask for money to buy his college needs. Actually Edgar gave a salary in the form of daily allowance, it was clear Lyn's salary was very large because Edgar did give his voluntary, not salary. The word salary is just Edgar's formality to Lyn so that Lyn doesn't feel pitied.

But the need for college is quite large considering the field taken by Lyn is high-end fashion design. His salary will be drained. Because Edgar once said that Lyn did not have to think about tuition, then Lyn will ask Edgar when it comes to college. 

Lyn enters the elevator while calling someone. Lyn doesn't know if there's someone in that elevator.

"Lily you just wait at the fashion house, I'll pick you up after asking Ed's brother for money." 

When you're done with the phone. Lyn had yet to realize that Shakila who was standing next to her was staring at her glaring with envy.

Lyn was shocked by the sight before her. Hate face, bulging eyes, deflated chest, clenched hands. It was Shakila's expression when she saw Lyn. 

'Lord. Why don't I see Shakila if she has this elevator.' Inner Lyn with a dag-dig-dug feeling.

"It feels great now. Do you think by being Edgar's foster son you can be happy? Huh. Don't dream. Get away from Edgar's side, if you don't want to suffer any more."

'what does he mean, does he like Ed's brother?' inner Lyn.

"So you like Ed's brother? Haha don't dream. You're not his type." Lyn tried to sneer at Shakila even though her heart was racing.

Shakila was upset to hear it. "You should have read it. Your face looks creepy, do you not pity if Edgar had to see that ugly face of yours. Huh really doesn't deserve the attention and trust of a great CEO like Edgar."

Lyn kept her anger in check. I really want her to cry. Then the elevator door opened, it actually saved Lyn when it felt tight when faced with Shakila.

Ting.

Lyn quickly set foot into Edgar's room. Shakila walked leisurely behind Lyn with a look of hatred.

"Sister.." Lyn greets Edgar and Milo.

"Hi Lyn, are you home from college?" Sapa Milo's.

Lyn nodded and smiled in response to Milo.

"Where's Lily. Why don't you come with me?" Edgar asked with a wink looking around.

Seeing the warmth Edgar and Milo gave Lyn, Shakila warms up.

Seeing Shakila who was starting to heat up, Lyn immediately remembered Shakila's hatred in the elevator earlier. She realizes that Shakila hates everything that looks good on her.

Lyn has an idea to make Shakila hot.

"Sister Ed, being in your mansion bored me if I had to be in that luxurious room. I want to get out of the house to breathe fresh air in my new car. Can the car be bought now?" Said Lyn with a cute face while shaking Edgar's spoiled arm.

Edgar who suddenly heard Lyn talk like that froze in confusion. Not because of his request to buy a car, but since when did Lyn collect a promise to buy a car when they did not have any appointments. Soon Edgar understood that Lyn was intermittently glancing at Shakila. Milo just watched everything in silence.

"Yes.yes, you can buy it today with Brother Milo. I'm sorry, you're beautiful, Ed's brother was busy yesterday." Edgar's delicate voice with his hand stroked Lyn's hair.

Shakila saw him become sultry. She's really hot about what Lyn got. Then Shakila tried to distract Edgar.

"Sir Ed, I brought the doc.."

Uncompleted Shakila spoke, Lyn had already cut her off with her spoiled mannerism. Edgar immediately turned his face away from Shakila. 

It seems like Edgar is always a reflex when it comes to Lyn.

Milo just poked his lips in laughter. For him it was an entertaining show.

Edgar saw him helpless. Lyn is adorable even though she is just acting. Edgar quickly pulled out his wallet and gave Lyn a black credit card.

'oh my god, it's a black card. Damn it. This boy was actually given a black card easily by Edgar.' Shakila's inner self with an acute cocky feeling.

Shakila tries to find Lyn's fault so that the cold CEO can change his view on Lyn.

"Sir Ed you gave Lyn a black card so easily, is that not too excessive considering his behavior?"

Edgar hears it unacceptable if Shakila talks about Lyn's bad behavior that she never did.

"Why are you so happy to remember his bad behavior." Furious Edgar.

"I mean, I'm just reminding you. I am afraid of something that has happened to you again. You nurtured her in your own mansion, I'm afraid she's going to run because she was given the luxury of you." Shakila was too bad to choose the wrong words.

"Bk,ck. You don't have to worry about me using this luxury, because I deserve it." Said Lyn with a mocking face. 

I don't know where Lyn's courage came from to fight Shakila. Maybe because in front of him there was Edgar and Milo as his shield, his fear was lost instantly to Shakila.

Seeing Lyn who was starting to be able to fight him, it made his heart inflamed.

"You. What are your rights?"

 

Shakila glanced at Milo then she tried to control herself so as not to get emotional on Lyn.

"I just want to remind you that you're just hitching a ride in Mr. Edgar's mansion, you should know that you don't act this way. Don't let you hurt anyone else." Said Shakila in a stifled tone.

"Who said I didn't know myself. I'm working for Ed's brother, it's appropriate that I ask for a reward according to my needs."

"What do you work for? You're just sitting around enjoying the luxury and tailing Mr. Edgar. What's that called work." Shakila sneers at Lyn in search of fault.

"I'm his personal assistant. It's obvious I've always been tailing Ed's brother."

Shakila's pupils dilated. 'Personal assistant? Is it true that this child doubles up as a personal assistant as well in addition to being a secret designer? It is fitting that his position looks the same as Milo.' Inner Shakila with a turbulent feeling.

Shakila tries to control herself and sees Edgar. "Sir, why did this child become your personal assistant? This kid has no skills other than design drawing. Isn't there already a great person like Mr Milo who became your personal assistant?"

"Then what about you? Isn't Milo my secretary and personal assistant?" Edgar answered in a very cold voice.

Shakila's face flushed in embarrassment. His words turned to him. Then he immediately left the CEO's room with a turbulent feeling.

After seeing Shakila Exit the door of his room, Edgar asked Lyn with an anxious probing gaze. 

"Is this your game?"

Lyn just grinned the horse. Then he ordered a drink while telling about the incident in the elevator with Shakila. But Lyn did not tell me about her face which was called ugly by Shakila.

"Bad boy." Edgar rubbed Lyn's cheek with his index finger.

"I love it if Lyn starts getting back at Shakila. It's an entertaining spectacle for me." Milo chuckled small.

Drinks have come, Lyn immediately drink it because he was already very thirsty due to his drama with Shakila earlier.

After his thirst was cured by his favorite melon juice, suddenly Lyn complained of pain in his stomach.

"Ouch. Ah my stomach." Screeched Lyn.
