Dion went to see Lyn

Chapter 14

"Ekhem."

Lyn and Edgar were shocked. Lyn quickly let go of her embrace with a flushed face. Edgar looked at Milo.

"What are you guys doing?" Milo asked with narrowed eyes to Edgar.

Embarrassed by the misunderstanding, Lyn answers Milo's question, even though it's for Edgar.

"Eh, Milo's brother. I was just feeling overwhelmed when Ed said I was going to college again and I was going to be enrolled at Mellon University."

Then Lyn saw Edgar. " Sir Ed thanks for your attention." Lyn lowered her head in a sign of respect for Edgar.

"Yes.iya.iya. have not been too excessive, just learn and work properly as your thanks." Edgar.

Lyn smiled sweetly. 

Shakila came with her work. Lyn's smile instantly disappeared. Shakila was silent because she endured her frustration, especially when she saw Lyn's smile that looked happy to make her sick. Edgar and Milo observe the two girls in front of them.

"Are you not siblings. Why don't you say hello to each other?" Milo asked, looking at the two.

"Sir, we looked at the siblings, but before he was expelled." Answer Shakila.

"Is it because of his bad behavior that you broke off your brotherly relationship? I hear she's a very talented girl. Why can't you see his talent rather than his bad behavior." Milo looked at Shakila's face.

"I do admire his talent, he's an amazing kid. But for this matter our parents decided it, I just followed." Shakila answered by looking at Lyn's face.

"Why do you seem to hate him so much. What wrong did you make?" 

'Arhh Milo fucking' Inner Shakila.

Shakila knew very well that Milo was introgating her subtly. But Shakila had to hold back and think of a way to keep suppressing Lyn's inner self at the same time.

"It's true, Lyn didn't have any faults in me. But the boy had already harmed his own mother, I was acting like my father was behaving towards Lyn." Shakila answered deliberately shaking Lyn's mind to continue feeling guilt for her family.

Lyn just looked down. Shakila saw her a little pleased with Lyn's reaction.

Out of nowhere came the sudden terbesit Milo's mind to test Shakila.

"If his talent is indeed extraordinary. Then we will try to recommend it for Paris Fashion. Isn't that a coincidence?"

Hearing that Shakila was very shocked but tried to control herself.

"Master, why did you guys get him this far. I'm just worried that his bad behavior will affect this company. I suggest reconsidering before there's any more chaos." Shakila.

Milo feels Shakila is instigating himself and Edgar to stay away from Lyn. That made his suspicions on Shakila grow.

"Thank you for your concern Miss Kila. You can go back to work. Miss Lyn is our business." Answer Milo.

Edgar who had seen Lyn with a downcast face, rubbed his head gently hoping to calm down. 

"Don't worry, we trust you." Edgar.

Dion a few days ago saw Lyn already at work, but Lyn walked up next to the CEO and didn't wear her uniform. That confused Dion.

Dion tries to call Lyn from the day Lyn disappeared, but Lyn's number has been off until now. Dion also came to the laundry, but Sari and Sarah were not there. The workers no one knew where the laundry went, they just told Dion that Sari and Sarah had not been home for a few days, even though he came home just to get clean clothes and bring his dirty clothes. 

Dion was frustrated there was no word from Lyn. Dion decides to wait for Lyn in the CEO parking lot on the 10th floor to cross paths to talk to Lyn.

"Lynn" 

Dion called out as he walked quickly closer to them.

Edgar, Milo, Lyn and Lily turned to the source of the voice.

"Sorry Mr. CEO, I'm a close friend of Lyn's, I just wanted to know Lyn's condition because I was worried a few weeks ago that Lyn might disappear."

Lyn just wanted to answer Edgar had cut.

"Yes right sir, I'm a Dion office boy in this company." Answer awkwardly Dion.

"Then why are you here? Isn't this the CEO's parking lot ?" Edgar asked coldly.

Lyn senses that her boss doesn't like Dion for being presumptuous in the CEO's parking lot.

"Ka. uh Mr. CEO, maybe there's something Dion would like to ask me. Excuse me first." Lyn pulls Dion a few feet from Edgar's car.

Seeing his little girl touch another man's hand, made Edgar very upset. Even though he was just a friend, Dion was still a man.

"I'm fine, Dion, I've started working. You don't have to worry anymore" replied Lyn.

"Eh, work? but why don't you wear a uniform?" Dion asked confusedly looking at Lyn's appearance.

Seeing Dion confused, Lyn is also confused what to reason with his friend. Edgar looked at the pair of friends with a cold look that looked annoyed.

"Miss Lyn, how much longer are you keeping me waiting." Edgar's heavy voice left Lyn and Dion shocked.

"Ah, sorry Dion I have to go back, the CEO can't wait long."

"But Lyn, I miss you out of worry. I also want to treat you again. And your number's off, what if I want to call you?" Ask Dion.

Just about to answer, Edgar had called again with his heavy voice sounding a little annoyed.

"Miss Lyn."

Hearing that, Lyn immediately spoke quickly to Dion.

"Let's just say, on weekends, I have free time in the afternoon. Let's meet in the regular park." Then Lyn turned around with quick steps.

"alright. I'll wait for you." Said Dion while looking at Lyn's back entering the car.

Lyn also felt confused, one side she also missed her friend. On the other hand he has to keep his job a secret.

In the car, Edgar chases Lyn with various questions in an annoyed tone.

"Who is he?"

Lyn was confused.

"The man in the parking lot."

"Oh that's my high school friend Dion, he was the only boy friend I had when everyone bullied me"

"What's the connection to her? Why is he so presumptuous to be in a special parking lot just for the sake of meeting you "

"Sister, Dion's worried because for a few weeks I wasn't seen at the company, and my number hasn't been reached since. So when he saw me he asked me about my situation. Since I couldn't be reached, Dion asked me to meet to let go of the miss."

Hearing the last sentence, Edgar was very upset as if he wanted to hit people. It could be that the little girl he was caring for would meet with his male friend just to let go of the longing.

"You made a deal with her?" Edgar's heavy voice was very cold.

Hearing such a voice Lyn became confused. Lyn knew that Edgar was upset, but why was his relationship with Dion a problem; he thought.

"Sister, Dion only wanted to treat me as usual when there was more money than his salary because we very rarely met since graduating High School. We'll only meet once a few months when Dion wants to share with me, because he knows how my life is going to be difficult." Lyn replied in a sad tone.

Hearing the sad tone of his little girl, Edgar let out a sigh and lowered his annoyance levels.

"Alright, you can meet him. But it must be remembered that the relationship about our deal, whatever concerns me and the company is a secret. Don't give me your number, and don't eat carelessly." Edgar said firmly.

Hearing her boss allow it, Lyn smiled sweetly.

"Well, I'll remember it."

Edgar saw that smile instantly turned his face away for fear of not being able to bear to see it.

Milo heard the debate the two just smiled faintly while holding the wheel.
