Chapter 30

Lyn's surgery was completed after a 7-hour wait. Lyn, who had just woken up from anesthesia, was immediately taken home to her hotel room with a nurse. 

For the next few days, Lyn must undergo self-care in accordance with the provisions of MIP surgery. Lily swiftly took care of Lyn with the help of a special nurse arranged by Edgar. 

Edgar is indeed excessive when it comes to Lyn, even Edgar has guaranteed all things about the care and welfare of Lyn while in Korea. For him, his little girl must live a decent life wherever she is.

The 8th day after plastic surgery, Lyn returned to MIP surgery to remove the stitches before returning home. 

When she was about to go home to the hotel to pack, Lily pulled Lyn to the city's famous salon to prepare for their appearance later that night.

While in a taxi, Lyn protests Lily's behavior.

"Lily... What are you doing? Why are you acting so easily like this. We have to pack up to go back to country B. Besides it's late afternoon, where are you taking me?"

"Hehe, sorry lady. We're going to the salon first, maybe all my life I've never been to the salon. Lyn just snorted holding back the upset of not being able to turn down Lily's request. If rejected, it would be very sad to see the life of Lily who never felt spoiled in the salon. Another case with Lily, she was very giggling in her heart.

They both perform treatments from head to toe. Especially for Lyn, the beauty officer did not touch the head of Lyn considering the seams were just taken. Even so, Lyn really looks beautiful when wearing an evening dress.

After being satisfied with the results of the salon reshuffle, Lily took Lyn to a restaurant on the grounds of dinner.

Lyn felt suspicious, because for dinner alone why she had to wear an expensive dress that had been prepared. It felt like Lyn left Lily right then and there, but Lily really looked hungry. 

After they both got off the taxi. Lyn clutched Lily's hand tightly because she felt the fear of the restaurant in front of her was very dark. Lyn's mind turned negative looking at Lily's face.

"Lily, what is this place? Why did you bring me here?"

"Calm down, miss. Miss is safe with me."

"You didn't plan anything for me, did you?" Said Lyn in a pressed tone.

Lyn did not flinch and continued to look at Lily's face with a probing look.

Lily really doesn't understand Lyn. Because Lyn is a plain girl, why is the level of curiosa so high?

Lily smiled happily then led Lyn into the restaurant. When entering the restaurant, the atmosphere was so quiet with very minimal light. When it comes to the middle room, Lily suddenly leaves Lyn alone in the dark. Lyn was so panicked.

"Lilly.. Lily... Where are you? Don't fad in a place like this. Lily's.."

Suddenly the sound of shoes approaching Lyn. Lyn was so panicked as the voice got closer to her.

Edgar subconsciously reached out his hand to touch Lyn's face. However, when the tip of his finger almost touched Lyn's cheek, suddenly Lyn woke up and immediately greeted Edgar.

"Sister Ed. When did you come?"

Edgar came to his senses from his daydream by opening his eyes. Edgar quickly lowered his hand which was hanging beside Lyn's face clumsily.

"just now. I came here specifically to pick you up. And also, I've prepared a special dinner for you."

Hearing that Lyn became misbehaved. To close the awkwardness, Lyn again asked as she walked towards the dining table that was already available with a variety of delicious dishes.

"Why don't I see Milo's sister, isn't she coming?"

"Milo's not coming, he's still got business. Come on, let's have dinner first. I want a quick break from being so tired today."

Lyn and Edgar began their dinner solemnly. However, Lyn felt something strange. She came with Lily to this restaurant by preparing her appearance, why was it only her and Edgar sitting down to dine in this restaurant? 

Lyn looked around, there was really only one table in the room. Not to mention that the decor of the room looks very romantic for a pair of young people like them.

'Did Brother Ed set this up with Lily specifically for me? Why do I feel like this special event was made for lovers?' inner Lyn.

Lyn was eager to ask about this dinner. But when he saw Edgar eating voraciously, Lyn undoes his intentions. Lyn almost forgot that Edgar had just arrived in Korea and had not rested. Lyn did not want to spoil Edgar's mood and tired of just getting off the plane.

Elsewhere, a young man was lying in one of the narrow alleys leading to his home. 

One of the citizens who happened to pass by immediately approached him to help. At first the person tensed up as he approached and stuck a finger near his nostrils. However, not long after that the person heaved a sigh of relief when he found out that his neighbor who was considered like his son was still alive.

"Dion. Dion's. Wake up.."

After a moment of shaking his body, Dion opened his eyes grimacing and held his head.

"Dion, why are you lying here, and your face is full of bruises. Have you been fighting?"

Dion looked at the person who was helping him with a confused face. Then he remembered the incident before fainting.

"Emmm. Eng. It's okay sir, Dion just had a headache because of work exhaustion. That's why Dion fainted. Bruising problem, Dion was beaten by a thug when Dion fought back because of the pickpocket." Dion answered with a stammer.

"Walah.. You headaches can faint so do not go to the doctor? Do you want to take you to the puskes now so that all of you, the bruised ones are treated?"

Dion became tense and immediately flicked both of his hands to refuse.

"No, sir, Dion's just tired. Maybe Dion should take a lot of rest at home. Besides you have to pick up mom at the market, pity mom is waiting, it's late."

At once the man called father by Dion immediately remembered if he had to pick up his wife at the store.

"Let's just forget." While patting his head.

"Yes already if you gapapa, you go first pick up mom. Can you go home by yourself?"

"Can sir, I'm too. Be careful on the road, sir."

The father immediately got up to take his trip to pick up his wife.
