Chapter 57 

Lyn opened her eyes with a very handsome view of the North Pole's face.

Lyn smiled as Edgar kissed the tip of his head.

As Lyn took a sitting position, Lyn grimaced as she felt pain in her right thigh. 

Lyn remembers the last moment before she opens her eyes. He who will be stabbed by Shakila with hatred was suddenly fainted when he heard the sound of gunfire. 

"Sister, what happened before I was in this room? I heard a gunshot before I fainted."

A second later, Lyn widened her eyes.

"Dad, what about dad. He was stabbed by Shakila. Mom, what about mom.."

"Sttt..slow down. You're asking like a sled."

Lyn was silent for a moment to take her breath.

Feeling Lyn had calmed down, Edgar also told of the last incident before Lyn fainted.

As Shakila was swinging her knife, Edgar suddenly came by giving a shot on Dion's right thigh.

Shakila who heard the gunshot turned to the source of the sound. However, Shakila's sight suddenly darkened as Jimi's bodyguard immediately hit her on the nape.

A second later, Jimi's bodyguards and Edgar's men immediately took Lyn's parents to the hospital after hearing Edgar's orders.

As Lyn, Shakila and Dion are about to be taken in by Edgar and his men, their movements suddenly come to a halt as Dion makes a sound.

"Wait."

"Sir, begging you very much for my last request." Dion said on his knees.

Edgar thought for a moment that Edgar finally let Dion convey his final request.

"Say."

"Before you kill me and Shakila, allow me to avenge my family by torturing Shakila. Once my business with him is done, then you can do anything even if you have to take my life, I sincerely and truly repent now." 

Seeing that Dion was very resigned, Edgar also agreed to Dion's request. 

"Well, I agreed to your request on one condition."

Dion waited for Edgar's next speech.

"You have to count everything Shakila did to Lyn and your sister. Remember, especially for Lyn lest there be anything less."

Dion smiled haru.

After saying that, Edgar immediately left with Lyn in his carry.

Later, Dion and Shakila are taken to a torture warehouse in the middle of Milo's forest by Edgar's men.

"Your mother has gone through a critical period, and your father is awake. Don't you want to see them?"

Hearing Edgar's words, Lyn immediately lowered her head with a face staring at him.

"Of course."

Seeing the change in Lyn's facial features, Edgar distracts by pointing at the wound wrapped in bandages.

"Is this sick?"

"If I treat him, it will be cured."

"Oh yeah..?" Lyn narrowed her eyes.

Didn't wait long Edgar kissed the edge of the bandage. It made Lyn chuckle.

"No. This made his wound even more painful." Acting Lyn.

With his ignorant smile Edgar also kissed the edge of the bandage only once, the rest he kissed Lyn's smooth left thigh with a slight bite of it occasionally.

Lyn laughed as she was amused by Edgar's kiss.

"Haha. Already, already. That's very ticklish."

Lyn and Edgar are having a discussion about their wedding in the living room.

Suddenly, Daniel and Celina came to the head by the nurse Edgar had hired.

Lyn froze when she saw her smiling parents longing to see her. Instantly, Lyn's eyes condensed.

"Son, how are you. Are your wounds healed?" Daniel asked with a trembling voice.

"My daughter. I'm so proud of you, Yoce." Celina said with tears. 

Lyn woke up to her parents with her tears breaking.

"Dad, mom. Hicks."

Father, mother, and son are embracing with a deep sense of hilarity and longing. 

Edgar and the two nurses who saw him were also moved to see him. 

Edgar swiftly took a photo of the little family as a memory.

"Lyn, get your mom and dad to sit down first. They're still sick." Edgar.

Lyn nodded and immediately led her parents to sit on the soft sofa.

On the sofa, Edgar still took pictures because Lyn's father and mother still hugged Lyn in the middle of them.

Lyn asked her parents because she saw Daniel's face and Celina was still very pale and looked grimacing occasionally.

"Why are mom and dad here when they're sick? What if the wound gets worse."

"If we don't come here, then we have to wait until when to wait for you to come to us." Celina Say

"I'm sorry, I don't remember visiting mom and dad because I'm used to being far apart." Said Lyn looking down.

Daniel and Celina looked at each other with their sad faces.

Daniel and Celina weep even more when they feel that Lyn does not forgive them.

Edgar curled his lips thinly. She is very proud of Lyn who is growing up.
