Code 810: Disappearance of the Diatmica
Chapter Fifty-two

In a hurry, detective Egan marched to the elevator at the end of the hallway. But just like when he headed to this floor, this time the elevator was running slowly making him more out of stock patience.

After waiting for a few minutes and the floor pointer number on the open elevator was still dappled and finally moved with the determination of detective Egan to walk towards the emergency stairs that were next to the elevator.

Although climbing the stairs to the floor where the interrogation room is located, detective Egan feels as if he has more power when he brings a brown envelope containing the results of analysis from Aris.

Detective Egan sped up his pace and walked straight towards the interrogation room.

When detective Egan passed by the surveillance room next to the interrogation room the door opened and Mr. Brox came out.

"How's it?" ask Mr. Brox.

"In this map there is something that can put pressure on Sarah" replied detective Egan confidently.

"Good! Get in there immediately," ordered Mr. Brox.

Finished talking to Mr. Brox, detective Egan stepped in and opened the door of the interrogation room which turned out to be not as quiet as when he left the diamond room next to the room.

"When do you want to shut up Sarah?" grit detective Keiko while pounding the table in front of him.

Sarah who is still sitting in front of detective Keiko looks very frightened to see detective Keiko who seems to be able to hold her back.

Detective Egan walks in and approaches his partner whose shoulders rise and fall rapidly after letting go of all his emotions.

Detective Egan whispers his partner to try to calm down again and he opens the brown map in his hand, trying to tell his partner about what Aris has frozen.

Second, detective Keiko read what was written on the paper in the chocolate map.

"Totally this?" between trust and disbelief detective Keiko asks.

"This is what I got from Aris" retorted detective Egan with complete confidence.

Detective Keiko now turned her eyes toward Sarah again while clucking with annoyance but she still tried to calm down according to the direction of her partner.

"Do you want to confess or not?" ask detective Keiko.

"Until the time when my pin won't admit anything because I didn't do anything wrong,"

Sarah is a person who is not easily moved.

"If you admit what you're doing then I could have offered you something" detective Keiko lamented.

Sarah was silent again, but it was clear that she was thinking hard.

"What do I get when I work together?" ask Sarah.

Detective Egan realizes that his partner is winning the psychological battle a little more. Therefore he took the initiative to take this interrogation.

"How much?" sarah began to be interested.

"Depending on what you can give," replied detective Egan.

Once again, Sarah was silent trying to weigh in.

"Let's know Sarah, we've got your fingerprints in a place you shouldn't be" detective Egan said, trying to intimidate.

Sarah's face instantly turned pale and made detective Egan feel one step closer to making Sarah open her mouth.

"Ta— but how could there be my fingerprint in Erik's house?" ask Sarah clumsy.

"How did you know that you found your fingerprints in Erik's house? You knew her?" urged detective Keiko.

Sarah becomes increasingly clumsy when she hears what detecrof Keiko has just said.

"Don't you say that you don't recognize people who are often special guests in Mr. Gilen's room?" now detective Egan is the one who's after it.

"How do you know Erik if you don't know Odel?" ask detective Keiko to press back.

Sarah who realized that she was now cornered by the two detectives plus the fingerprint evidence owned by the detectives finally chose to open her voice.

"It wasn't really me who took Erik and Odel's lives" Sarah said.

"If not you? Who?" urged detective Egan.

"The one who killed them was Dalmar."

"Is it all on the orders of Mr. Gilen?" ask detective Keiko.

"No. It's all because of the desire of Dalmar himself" replied Sarah.

"What made Dalmar do that?" ask detective Egan.

"It's possible that he wanted to run the painting all by himself."

"What kind of thing are you doing at the scene?" ask detective Egan.

"I was forced by Dalmar to help him retrieve the painting while Odel and Erik were out to check the money Dalmar had promised at the ATM machine" she said.

"Why do you want to?" ask detective Keiko.

"I was able to enter this country because of Dalmar's help and he threatened to report me to the authorities to force me to be deported from this country" Sarah replied in tears.
