“Good morning, with detective Keiko here. Can I help you?“ detective Keiko said as she answered the phone call

“Keiko?!“ katavorang on the phone hesitantly.

“Iya right. Who am I talking to?“

“This is me, Ms. Alana. Do you still know me son?“ ask the person on the phone.

“Oh Alana's mother!? How are you, ma'am? Of course I remember mom. How could I forget a mother-like person" detective Keiko said cheerfully.

“Thank God you remember me. I contacted you because I needed your help.“

“Need my help? Oh sure, I'd be happy to help if I could. Just say it,” replied enthusiastic detective Keiko.

“Do you really want to help me nak?“ ask Alana's mom expectantly.

“Sure. We are like sisters. You are like a mother to me, and Diatmika is like my sister.“

“This is indeed about Diatmika,” bu Alana voice turns sad.

“What's with Diatmika?“ detective Keiko's mood also turned to anxiety when she heard the words of Ms. Alana.

Ms. Alana was silent for a few minutes, not answering detective Keiko's questions until detective Keiko had to call one more time.

“Diatmika, the daughter of her only mother has been since a few days ago no news at all. I tried to contact her phone but not connected.“

“How many days has it been?“ ask detective Keiko.

“I'm not sure for sure. But what I remember and realize is the absence of Diatmika since I realized from the operation of guess-we have one week.“

“Why did new mom contact me now? Why not from the second or third day?“

“At first I thought, maybe Diatmika was just busy working at work part-time as usual. But after mom waited for a few days, she did not go to the mother to the hospital.“

"Mom's been trying to ask the nurse there?" ask detective Keiko.

"About the presence of the diatmika in the hospital? Oh, of course, son. They said that while I was in the hospital, Diatmika never came to see my mother."

Detective Keiko was silent for a moment while thinking but quickly gave an answer to Alana.

“Good ma'am, I will try to help find Diatmika bu.“

“Really? Are you going to help me?“

“Of course. I told you not if we are family, I will help as much as I can,” detective Keiko continues to try to convince.

Then detective Keiko gives her cell phone number so she and Ms. Alana can connect with each other easily.

After hanging up the phone from Alana's mother, detective Keiko approached her colleague who was tidying up a pile of folders containing a collection of files on her desk.

“What's up?“ detective Egan asked, realizing the presence of his partner.

“Ehm.

Detective Egan stops his activities and turns his gaze to his partner who is still standing next to his desk, looking in a confused state.

“Just tell Kei, what's up?“

“If we find a missing person, can not?“

“It could be. We can try asking the missing persons division, I happen to have acquaintances there.“

Detective Egan frowned and asked, “ Who's missing anyway?“

Detective Keiko drags her chair closer to detective Egan's desk, sits down and starts telling stories.

“A daughter who used to live next door to my parents' house when we were both kids. That was his mother, who I had considered like his own mother contacted me, specifically looking for me for help to be able to help find her missing child.“

“Isn't that close to you?“

“Yes, that's as close as I am and Diatmika. That's why I want to be involved in the search Diatmika.“

“Try to ask Mr. Brox, I help you say,“ detective Egan volunteered to help his partner.

“New, gan? Do you really want to help?“

“Let's kick us into Mr. Brox's room now,“ detective Egan doesn't want to buy time and make his partner change his mind and back off to talk to Mr. Brox.

Then the two detectives stepped into a special room owned by Mr. Brox together.

“But what? Continue.“

“What case exactly?“ ask Mr. Brox again.

“Lost person case sir.“

“A— My sister sir. It can be said like that,” replied detective Keiko hesitated.

“Lantas what are you going to do now?“ ask Mr. Brox.

“The plan is we want to ask your permission so that me and detective Keiko can participate directly in the investigation process, helping detectives from the search division of missing persons,“ replied detective Egan.

Mr. Brox was stunned for a moment trying to weigh up what decision he would give to the two detectives before him.

“This case has not been handled by the missing persons division, sir. The mother of my missing sister contacted me just now sir,” detective Keiko said.

“Oh like that. Well, I will help you make your missing brother's report and ask you to be involved in the process of searching and searching.“
