Code 810: Disappearance of the Diatmica
Chapter Twelve

Detective Keiko threw herself down because she was unable to hold the weight of her own body when she saw the corpse in the freezer.

"Is he a diatmika?" detective Keiko's voice was so shaky.

"Are you sure he's diatmika? Is this the Diatmika that is in the memory of your head?" ask detective Egan.

The body itself is difficult to recognize. Much of her body has shrunk as well as parts of her face so that even detective Keiko can't give a definitive answer to her partner's questions.

“Then, we just take this corpse and let Birdella try to find out who she really is,”, detective Egan said trying to calm down.

“But what if it turns out it is Diatmika?“

“That could be anyone, we both know that Odel is trading human organs illegally,” detective Egan is still trying to calm his partner.

Detective Keiko's chest ached when she saw a dead body sitting in one of the back corners of the freezer.

Detective Egan immediately contacted Birdella and informed her of her condition.

"Please send your team here, del. There's a body that Keiko and I found here."

"Diatimika?" birdella asked in shock and curiosity.

"It's your job to tell us, is he diatmika or someone else?"

"Is that the condition of the body?" ask Birdella.

"Try you tell me. So let you come here with your team so you can see the condition of this body."

"OKAY. I'll slide right there with my team, you just send me the address."

Detective Egan disconnects the phone and helps detective Keiko to get up and take him out of the freezer and closes the door so as not to affect the condition of the body to be examined by the team forensics.

It didn't take long until Birdella and her team came to the scene.

“Where to?“ birdella asked detective Egan who was still accompanying her partner.

“In there,” detective Egan said as he pointed towards the iron door towards the cooling room.

The entire forensic team brought by Birdella went straight into the cooling room as soon as they received instructions from Birdella.

“Lo nothing at all Kei?“ ask Birdella.

“Entahlah. I also don't know for sure why I'm okay or not. Cooba you tell me,” replied detective Keiko while holding her forehead trying to hold the pain in her head that she did not know what the reason was.

“We don't know who's in there yet don't we!? It could be that it is not Diatmika,” Birdella said.

Birdella clutched the tube of her best friend and said, “Whatever happens later, I will always be here for lo.“

After saying this to detective Keiko, Birdella followed her team into the cooling room.

With great dexterity and precision, Birdella and her team worked on examining the basic signs in the body, of course, between the sub-zero temperatures.

“Why? You guys cold?“ birdella asked her team.

“Sorry Prof, yes we are cold,” replied one member of the forensic team representing another member.

Birdella smiled and said, “Sama, I also feel cold. But the temperature here is very good for storing corpses is not!?“

“But when viewed from the condition of this corpse, it looks like he is not preserved perfectly,“ said one team member

"I think the condition of this corpse is not in accordance with the current environmental conditions" said another team member.

“Smart. It is not wrong I recommend you to rise to the post,” said Birdella was proud of her decision over her team members.

“Thank you Prof,” said the team members were flattered.

“Of course I will need to recheck up to details about this one corpse. Therefore, I ask for your help to check it here quickly because I want to immediately check it in my lab,”, Birdella said.

“BOTH PROF!“ said all members of this team answered simultaneously.

“Good, continue your work here. I need to get out for a while and come back soon to help you guys check out this corpse.“

Then Birdella came back out of the cooling room and it turned out that the store building was filled with police who stood guard. Then Birdella decided to meet one of the police officers responsible for guarding the crime scene this time.

“Maybe in about an hour my team will finish its work. I ask for help to

you to arrange the transfer of the corpse from here to my lab room,” Birdella gives directions.

“Good Prof!“ answer the police firmly.

After giving instructions to the police, Birdella again walked to see detectives Egan and Keiko who still chose to sit on the floor leaning against the wall.

“How?“ ask detective Keiko worriedly.

“Sabar Kei's. Even though the forensics have checked, but to ensure the results, the corpse I need to bring to my lab,” replied Birdella.

Detective Keiko who had unknowingly squeezed Birdella's arm since earlier, now released the squeeze. It was as if he lost power and no longer had enough energy.
