“Sorry, I should have heard what you said earlier Kei,” detective Egan said, finally feeling guilty also for having advised detective Keiko to give the unique-shaped key they found at the scene of the case to Aris in his room to be examined as one of the evidence.
“Ngga need to feel guilty, gan. We do need to hand the key over to Aris for him to check. Anyway not necessarily my guess is correct 'right,” retorts detective Keiko trying to calm his partner who looks really feel guilty to him.
“Lantas how do you plan next?“ ask detective Egan.
“How else, we have to go back to the office and ask the key from Aris for us to try in this keyhole. To find out if this hole really fits that key child or not,” Detective Keiko replied.
Soon after, the two detectives left the shop and rushed to their office to meet Aris in her office.
When the elevator door opens on the floor of the autopsy room, detectives Egan and Keiko immediately headed to Aris' room in the middle of a bright hallway that seemed modern because it was filled with tools to do research.
"Aris!" Call detective Egan when he finds Aris in one of the rooms that are not made of walls but glass as a barrier so that one another can see each other.
"You're so fast coming back, I haven't even got anything yet" said Aris, who was taking pictures on evidence provided by detectives Egan and Keiko and was being investigated.
"We want to borrow the key we gave you earlier" Detective Keiko said.
Aris lifted the key and asked, "This one?"
Detective Keiko nodded her head, "Rubber."
"Can we borrow it?" ask detective Egan
"Can you wait another five to ten minutes?" ask Aris.
"Why is that?" ask Detective Keiko.
"I only need to do one more test to be able to convince the results I got before," replied Aris.
"Oh of course I am. We'll wait" replied detective Egan.
Of course detective Keiko waited anxiously but she had to endure the feeling of it so that everything could go smoothly.
Meanwhile, Aris is back in the sibul with his work researching the key child. Now he put the key into a tool that serves as a fingerprint analyzer with the latest version.
"Beebbb..."
After almost ten minutes had passed, the machine read asking if the work of the machine had been completed and the results as much as possible would be known in the near future.
"This is the key you need" Aris said, handing over the key to detective Keiko.
Detective Keiko picked it up and said, "Thank you so much Aris."
"By pleasure. Hopefully I can give you the results of my research on the evidence that is here."
"May our cooperation produce all things satisfactory" said detective Egan as he walked along with detective Keiko left the room where Aris was still busy working.
Arriving at the store, they opened the door that had been broken by detective Egan. But because the door was broken, it was easier for both of them to enter the building.
They continued to walk to where the iron door was located and it turned out that the key hole that had been seen was now closed again.
“Lo closed the keyhole?“ ask the confused detective Egan.
“Ngga,” replied equally confused detective Keiko.
But the two detectives did not extend their debate and immediately pressed the side of the door that had a keyhole that was located far from the doorknob.
And after the keyhole was again seen, with a sense of degdegan detective Keiko enter a unique-shaped key that he brought from the room Aris. And it turns out, it's true that the key fits perfectly with the key child.
Detective Keiko looked towards her partner, nodded her head slowly then said, “Masuk.“
“Good, now try to turn the key boy,” said detective Egan while replying to the nod of his partner's head.
Detective Keiko tried to turn the key once but there was no movement from the iron door. He also instructs detective Egan to try to move the doorknob close to him.
Detective Egan shook his head, “Ngga can. Try one more time.“
Detective Keiko follows his partner's orders. Slowly he turned the key one more time and then untouched, the doorknob in front of detective Egan moved itself.
Very slowly detective Egan pushed the iron door and cold white wine gushed out about his face making his body goosebumps.
“We enter,” said detective Egan and of course detective Keiko tailed behind his friend. The two of them entered, trying to adjust their body temperature to the cold temperature behind the iron door.
The room was so cold and dark, but when the door was completely shifted, the lights in the room suddenly lit up by themselves.
The cold room contained frozen meat hanging from the ceiling. From beef to lamb hangs. While on the other hand there are also boxes of seafood, fish and duck that have been as frozen as beef and lamb.
Detective Keiko's instincts encouraged him to continue exploring the cold room until finally a terrible sight was seen in front of him.
“Egan! Egan!“ Call detective Keiko.
Hearing the call, detective Egan no longer meyahut with words but he immediately approached his partner because it seems the voice of detective Keiko is not as usual.
Detective Egan is now standing next to his partner while also looking to the same point where detective Keiko is looking with a gaze so blue.
A corpse that had been stiff in the corner at the very end of the room with cold temperatures below zero degrees, providing a view that was certainly not pleasant for the two detectives.
A few minutes later, detective Keiko fell to the floor unable to support herself.
“What is possible that Diatmika?“ detective Keiko said with a trembling tone, not because of the cold room temperature but because of the coldness that radiated from inside her body.
Detective Egan knelt down and tried to grab hold of his partner and said, “What is this Diatmika that you recognize?“ ask detective Egan with a tone that is no less vibrating.
