Code 810: Disappearance of the Diatmica
Chapter Twenty Two

A phone got into the phone on Detective Keikon's desk this morning. The caller was Sarah, a curator at an art gallery in one of the upper corners of the city. Where the art gallery is led and under the responsibility of Gilen, the person who is now the main suspect in the case of the loss of life Diatmika a small friend of detective Keiko.

Sarah reports that Gilen and Dalmar, who are Gilen's guardians and confidants, have now returned to the city and are back in the gallery.

Detective Keiko and Egan quickly move towards the art gallery so as not to lose any more traces of Gilen and Dalmar who have just returned from Cuba.

Arriving at the art gallery, detectives Keiko and Egan soon meet a beautiful receptionist whom they meet several times each time they come to the art gallery. And just like always, the recipe greeted the two detectives with a friendly smile.

“I heard Mr. Gilen and Dalmar are back,” detective Egan said with a smile.

“He has just arrived today sir,” replied the receptionist was friendly.

“We want to meet Mr Gilen and Dalmar, can?“ ask deyective Keiko.

“I tried to contact Mr. Gilen first yes sir, ma'am. I am afraid he is in a condition that is not quite fit,” replied the receptionist.

“Please. We can wait,” retort detective Egan trying to be friendly.

The beautiful receptionist with a sweet smile held up the phone handle on her desk trying to contact Gilen through the intercom channel. His voice did not sound clear but several times he nodded his head to understand the direction given to him through the intercom connection.

“Sorry sir, ma'am it seems that Mr. Gilen was unable to visit for that time,” said the beautiful receptionist after putting the phone handle he used earlier into his place.

“May I know, what is the reason Mr Hilen gave earlier when he refused our wish to meet him?“ ask detective Egan politely.

“He doesn't feel fit enough to meet you both. Bsliau still feel jetlag because of yesterday's flight,” replied the receptionist the owner of the sweet smile was trying to fulfill the desire to know detective Egan.

“Did Pak Gilen already know that we are investigating a murder case?“ ask detective Keiko firmly.

“I haven't told him ma'am, sorry,” replied the receptionist.

“What if we force to barge in?“ gritted detective Egan.

“Sure you know, if you do that you should have a warrant. If not, it is precisely you who have to deal with your own law,” said someone hoarse and heavy voice behind detectives Egan and Keiko.

The two detectives turned their bodies to face the origin of the sound. However, detective Egan already knows who the owner of the voice is.

“We haven't seen you in a long time, Dalmar. How about your walk yesterday?“ detective Egan said.

“I am not a walk, rather I work.“

“Maybe it would be more appropriate if you call your trip yesterday as home village,” cut detective Keiko.

Hearing that, Dalmar rounded his eyes. It seems she is shocked to learn that detective Keiko knows about her hometown in Cuba.

“Betul also. Yesterday it can be called as home village for you,” continued detective Egan.

“Obspecific! We want to ask for souvenirs,” said detective Egan then he was widened. But apparently his laughter did not make Dalmar laugh

“Pak Gilen can't see you!“ dalmar.

“Casual, relaxing Dalmar. We just want to ask a few things to Mr. Gilen,” Detective Egan replied, stopping his laughter and now changing his sharp gaze.

“You can ask Mr. Gilen but not today,” reply Dalmar again.

“Then, when can we meet Mr Gilen?“ ask detective Keiko.

“Back in two or three days. The important thing must be on weekdays, because he does not like his time off to be disturbed,” replied Dalamar.

“Your answer is very helpful to us. We will be back in a few days right on the weekday,” Detective Keiko replied with a smile.

“Because you guys have got the answer and certainty from me, then I ask you to leave this art gallery. To be honest, your presence makes me and Mr. Gilen feel uncomfortable,” Dalmar said trying to evict detectives Egan and Keiko.

The two detectives understood Dalmar's intentions and immediately prepared to leave the art gallery. They walked past Dalmar who stood firmly with both hands laid back.

On the way out of the art gallery, detective Keiko saw Sarah standing in front of a large painting and looking at her. Sarah who was initially looking at Detective Keiko suddenly lowered her head and dared not lift her up again.

Detective Keiko who saw the situation felt awkward and intended to approach Sarah. But when detective Keiko's footsteps have turned towards Sarah, the woman who works in the gallery actually walked away as if she did not want to be approached by detective Keiko.

Detective Keiko saw where Sarah was walking. And when Sarah crossed Dalmar, she raised her head a little and quickly put her head back down and continued to pass Dalmar who was still standing firmly joined in staking Sarah's footsteps which then disappeared behind the wall.

Realizing what is going on, detective Keiko decides not to continue her intention to get close to Sarah. Detective Keiko is worried that his actions will be dangerous for Sarah, who is now a spy in this case.

Detective Keiko is worried that Sarah will be the same fate as her little best friend, Diatmika who lost her life while working as a part-time worker at this art gallery.

“Tadi lo see Sarah?“ tahya detective Keiko to her partner while continuing their steps out of the art gallery.

“It looks like he's scared,” retorts detective Egan.

“What's because of Dalmar? or because of Gilen?“ detective Keiko tried to guess.

“What if he is afraid of both. On Dalmar and Gilen!?“ detective Egan's revenge.

“Lo still believes that those who committed the murder were Diatmika, Odel and Erik?“ detective Keiko asked.

“Can be, Odel and Erik perpetrators of construction Diatmika do not know what the reason. But maybe Odel or Erik is Gilen's man and to cover up his crime, Gilen tried to silence Odel and Erik forever,” detective Egan trying to bring up his own version of deduction.

Detective Keiko walks straight to their official car as they continue to think hard trying to find out who really is the perpetrator and the person responsible for this ongoing mess.
