Limo Selfish

Purbo arrived in front of the house that he had occupied for several days. The house he initially thought was the place to go home, a place where his little family created warmth and happiness. But now Purbo realized, the house was just a foreign building for him.

There was a sense of disappointment in Purbo's heart. Remember the sweet greeting Sekar who said that the house is not just a physical building but a heart building. It turns out that word is just a joke. Even the building that Purbo really thought was the house, stood on the foundation of lies and lies.

"Suck!" Purbo swore annoyed. Without feeling a few grains of water dripping from the corner of his round eyes.

Purbo watched the large joglo house before him. The porch and living room lights glow reddish. The shadow of the life he had been through these few days was milling around in the eye pelukan. Remembering the togetherness with Sekar. Calm women who always show a soothing face. Rubbing his large belly hanging down, clasping his ice-cold palm.

Perhaps the household that Purbo lived in these few days was a lie, but the warmth of his love and affection felt real. In Purbo's mind, the question arises, what if the real life out there is worse as Mak Nah said?

"Damn! Damnit damnit! Siaall's! What do you think I am?" Purbo patted his own cheek.

In anxiety, a breeze blew past his open nape. The cold air made him go. Purbo hissed as he rubbed the back of his neck.

There were footsteps approaching from behind the darkness. The sound of quite a loud step, as if the walking figure was stomping its feet strongly. Purbo narrowed his eyes, trying to see amidst the fog.

The legs are level with wide steps approaching from the outside of the village. A large tall figure began to be seen, carrying a round object in his right hand.

"Shameful! My descendant has a mental tempe like you!" there was a voice snapping from behind the fog in front of Purbo.

"Who?" ask Purbo loudly. He felt there was nothing more to fear. Something strange and strange was common to him. Moreover, the village of Ebuh which became his residence these days, is a mystical village from a different world.

"You don't feel afraid of my presence" a voice came back, but there was no visible figure speaking.

The thick fog in front of Purbo suddenly disappeared. Like a mosquito net that is exposed when the wind blows. Now it is clear, a solid-bodied figure is standing facing Purbo. His head is not where it should be. With a smile on his lips, the figure's head was in the grasp of his right hand, swinging crazily with a row of yellowing teeth.

"Who are you?" peekik Purbo while taking a few steps back. Seeing the sinister form in front of him, Purbo's body trembled violently. The guts that had been so big, that there was no fear left, were now shrinking.

"I'm your great-grandfather" replied the figure briefly. Purbo was silent.

"We've met before. You denied my existence at that time. But now you look ready to go home," the creepy figure continued to speak. While Purbo is still silent, lost the word. There are too many lies today. Purbo had a hard time believing in the creepy foreign figure.

Not lost the fear in Purbo's mind, another figure appeared before him. The figure of an old, thin man who looked familiar in Purbo's eyes.

"Wahh, Njenengan street very fast Mbah. Dalem was far behind," said the grandfather set his breath.

"Haloo Nak Purbo's. Introduce me Mbah Yon," the old geezer wearing the headband introduced himself. Staring at Purbo with a friendly smile.

"That clean Yon is clean in the backyard?" tanya Purbo remembers.

"Who are you guys? What do you want to come here? And what does this headless grandfather look like anyway?" Purbo pointed at the figure next to Mbah Yon.

"He is Mbah's great-grandfather Njenengan Nak Purbo. He is Mbah Kusworo. While I am a descendant of 'rewang' or abdi Mbah Kusworo. We came here of course to invite Njenengan back to the place of origin. The njenengan is not a villager here Nak," Mbah Yon explained.

"From your appearance Iku wes looks, you have realized that you are not a native of this place. But why is your mind churning. Why would a part of your heart want to stay in this place? Is my great-grandson tresno the same 'medi' that's here?" sindir Mbah Kusworo's.

"After what I've experienced, I can't immediately believe the two of you. I could have gotten out of this village, and got lost in another one. Aren't there a lot of places like this out there?" Purbo looked at Mbah Yon.

"Hushy Nak Purbo is called Bu Sudarsih. Nak Purbo also has a fiancee named Dini. They were both very much waiting for Nak Purbo to get well soon. Nak Purbo's rude body is currently lying in a coma in the area's general hospital," Mbah Yon replied still smiling.

"Ojo hump you Ngger. Wong tuwo kayak I have far to come to this place to pick you up. If you don't want to go home, that's not a problem for me. Say the same Sudarsih Yon, his son wants to live with the inhabitants of a bead hilltop," Mbah Kusworo snapped full of anger. His eyes bulged with raised eyebrows.

"Prophet Mbah. Monggo Nak Purbo, come with us. Believe me," said Mbah Yon.

Purbo finally nodded. Although he was still unsure of the two figures before him. Not yet had Purbo set foot to get close to Mbah Yon, seen some people dressed all in black in groups carrying torches. They stood around Purbo, Mbah Yon and Mbah Kusworo.

In the front row of the horde, Japra appears with his cruel face. The fat man always looked at Purbo with an unpleasant expression. Large round cheeks look full of gaping scratches when exposed to reddish torchlight reflections. Apparently, that's the real face of Japra.

"What do you want?" Purbo asked first. While Mbah Yon and Mbah Kusworo remained calm with a smile on his face.

"Where are you going Purbo?" ask Japra while glaring.

"I want to go home to where I came from. Mak Nah already let me go," replied Purbo circulating his gaze.

"You can't go Purbo" said Japra, grinning

"Why?" tanya Purbo stared back at Japra.

"You've been drinking our drinks. It's been inside your body, water that only the villagers should drink. You're not allowed to go out!" japra garang.

"Wedang parem you mean? Isn't Mak Nah the one who forced me to drink?" refute Purbo.

"Parems? Ha ha ha ha's. Not gobl*k!" Japra laughed followed by the citizens standing behind him.

"Sajen bitter coffee belongs to the village of Ebuh. The check that gave you the coffee. You should not drink it" said Japra softly, half whispering.
