"This is a drink to celebrate the healing of Madam Dini," said Mak Nah with sparkling eyes.

Purbo is silent. He recalled the conversation Dini had with Mak Nah last night. He drank water in a jug. Purbo turns the brain to reject the ginger-flavored drink.

Dini grabbed the jug and poured it into the glass. Thin white smoke billowed, clear light brown liquid slightly rippled on its surface.

"Let's go drink it," pinta Dini with a smile.

"I'm not thirsty. The air is so cold, why do you want me to drink it? I'm lazy to go back and forth to the toilet" said Purbo with a flat expression.

"This drink is indeed I prepared for the cold morning air Sir. It is suitable to warm the throat and stomach," said Mak Nah with a smile. A smile that looked friendly yet made Purbo sick.

"I'll drink it later" replied Purbo.

"If the cold will be lost sir," urged Mak Nah. Again his lips lifted a smile.

"What efficacy? I'm in good health and don't need drinks like this!" Purbo snapped in annoyance.

The look on Mak Nah's face immediately changed. The old woman often showed a friendly and soothing face, but hearing Purbo's repulsion and defiant demeanor irritated her. Mak Nah grumbled, his face reddened.

Early who noticed the gelagat Mak Nah, began to feel anxious. He didn't want any more fights between two people who were just as important to him.

"Mas, I'll be healed and fit like this. You're not cooking?" said Dini put on a disappointed face.

"I'm cool, so why Din?" Purbo frowned. Both of his eyebrows seemed to be almost fused together.

"Yes, we celebrate Mas. We drink 'legen', either chicken lodho or Mak?" Dini squinted her eyes towards Mak Nah. The old woman nodded slowly.

"Please drink. This is not wedang parem sir. It's just a 'legen' decoction of coconut water. Don't get me the loodhonya, will you?" say Mak Nah after sighing.

"You're drinking, right?" tanya Purbo stared intently at Dini, after Mak Nah left.

"Yes Mas" Dini smiled as she poured water in a jug into the glass in front of him.

"Let's toast Mas," Dini thrust his glass.

Purbo. He was still hesitant to lift the glass filled with the brownish clear water. But seeing his wife keep pressing, he had trouble getting back on his feet.

"Yuk Mas," urged Dini once again.

Doubtfully Purbo grabbed the glass before him.

"You drink first," Purbo sighed, resignedly.

"Hey, why are you so scared? Do you suspect this drink was poisoned? Look," Dini smiled and immediately downed the water in the glass.

"You're weird, Mas. This drink is sweet as honey. 'Legen' to celebrate my body this morning feels light. I'm healthy, our son is smart," Dini rubbed his stomach.

In the end Purbo had no reason to refuse the drink he was thrust upon. Slowly he began to gulp down the ginger-flavored 'legen' water. The first sensation Purbo gets is sweet and warm. Until finally the 'legen' water runs out unceremoniously.

"Where? Is it good, Mas?" ask Dini with a smile. Purbo nodded slowly.

Nothing strange happened. Purbo only felt warm in his throat, chest and stomach. Concerns that had arisen had never happened.

Now Purbo doubts his own thoughts and memories. Some of him began to consider the conversation Mak Nah and Dini in the last third of the night was just a dream, delusion or hallucination.

"What's up, Mom? How can you just shut up? 'The 'Legen' is delicious, right? Sweet right? Want again?" Dini strafed Purbo with questions. Purbo just shook his head slowly.

"Emm, why are your legs?" dini asked after realizing Purbo's left ankle was wrapped in bandages.

"Ah, this. Anu I don't know either, like a can," Purbo replied stuttering.

"Again a damn thing. But it's not pa pa kok," said Purbo flicked his hand, asking Dini not to worry.

"How long is Din?" ask Purbo then. He turned his head, facing the hallway leading to the kitchen, looking for the figure of his maid who did not return.

"Hungry already?" Back to asking. Purbo just nodded.

He moved from his seat. Then stand behind Purbo, while massaging the two shoulders of her husband.

"What are you doing, Din? Sit down, you'll be tired, "Purbo grabs Early's hand, grasps it tightly. Hands that were usually ice cold, now felt smooth and warm.

"Request your son Mas. This baby in the belly asked me to massage you, let you relax" Dini replied.

"Where is it," Purbo smiled.

"But your massage is good. Make me sleepy. What time is it?"

"Emm, maybe 9 o'clock," replied Early.

"Yes yesterday did not drink wedang parem from Mak Nah huh?" ask Dini while continuing to massage Purbo. His massage turned to the forehead.

"Huh? Drink it," fast Purbo said.

"Cooking? No lie, right?" Dini sneered at Purbo. Her tiny lips looked a reddish tinge.

"Yes. The proof is that his parem was gone without rest yesterday," Purbo closed his eyes, enjoying a massage from his wife.

"Yes, believe me," Dini smiled.

Purbo looked up at Dini who was standing right behind him. Early Nose looks very sharp when viewed Purbo from below. The chin also looks cute. Purbo was about to pinch it, but Purbo's fingers suddenly felt weak, losing energy.

"I'm drowning" Purbo said, starting to panic.

"You're tired maybe Mas," said Dini relaxed.

Purbo raised his head, feeling heavy. The eyes began to glow. Repeatedly Purbo yawned unbearably.

"Don't don't effect 'legen' Din," Purbo tried to stand up. His hands were holding on to the wooden chair.

"Not so Mas. I drank that too. Look I'm not pa pa you know," continued Dini with a smile.

Purbo's sense of smell sniffed out the strong scent of pandan. The intoxicating fragrance. Purbo's footrest started to wobble. Around him feels swaying.

Purbo tried to grab Dini's hand. However, in his vision the figure of Dini changed. His skin looks really pale. His hair that had been tied and pigtailed, now turned long and slightly messy.

The clothes worn here also look different. He wears a lacy black canal. With a white jasmine flower decoration embedded in his chest. Purbo was no longer able to support his body. The sleepiness is getting more unbearable. Even while standing up, closing her eyes was the most convenient option for her right now.

Purbo felt a sensation of floating for a while. His body fell to the floor. Although his head hit hard enough, Purbo did not feel any pain. As if the floor was like a soft foam that held it comfortably.

After Purbo collapses, Mak Nah reappears from the bedroom room. His face looked scary with a blackened eye basin.

"It looks like your husband did not drink a parem from me yesterday" Mak Nah sizzled.

"Can I Mak? Why did Purbo not want to go? If this continues before 40 days are passed, he can leave me Mak," cried Dini riled.

"will not. He can't go where. Because in his memory you are Dini, his wife," refuted Mak Nah.

"Now we must prepare to be ready for the ceremony later in the afternoon," Mak Nah grabbed onto Purbo's arm and dragged him into the room.
