Dok dok dok
The sound of knocking woke Purbo from his sleep. Though only a blink of an eyelid was closed. A little hesitant he noticed the situation around.
Purbo is no longer in the living room chair. The smell of mud and grass that 'withered' stings the sense of smell. Purbo was lying on the wet ground, half of his body sinking there. Around the Purbo, there were huge trees towering.
"Arrghhhh," Purbo groaned in pain. Both of his feet were immobilized.
Purbo's left hand was also sore. While his right hand appears full of liquid red color thick and scented rancid.
"Yarose!" Purbo shouted as strongly as he could.
Silent. Purbo's voice echoed, bounced and rang back in the eardrum. With great difficulty Purbo's right hand clawed at the ground claw and managed to reach a tree root. He held on to the root, and dragged his body out of the mud.
"Aarrgghhhh," Purbo groaned. I don't know what happened, the pain felt all over his body. An unspeakable pain, involuntarily made her tears melt on their own.
Purbo managed to get both of his legs out of the mud. The left shin looks bent with an unnatural position. His feet look back. It was only fitting for Purbo to feel such excruciating pain.
While grimacing and breathing, Purbo slowly observed the condition of his body. He realized that he was wearing a jacket right now.
"This jacket is. . .," murmured Purbo, realizing that the leather jacket he was wearing was now the same as the first day's jacket he had forgotten everything. Pants, also a pair of boots that turned out to be the same as the time he drove Early check to the doctor.
Purbo leaned his body on the tree trunk that stood firmly behind him. He took off the jacket, then tied his broken leg with the jacket. While groaning in pain, Purbo tied his legs tightly, until the sound of bones rattling.
The screams echoed. Purbo almost fainted. Cold sweat soaks the forehead and temples. Purbo's legs look better this time. It looks straight even though the length is not the same.
"Yarose!" Purbo shouted back, trying to get help. But there was no sign of anyone there.
Purbo reached into his pants pocket. He had expected to find two objects in his pants pocket. A woman's pendant and a locked cell phone.
Not far from where Purbo leans there is a white cardboard box with a beautiful pink ribbon. Darling colors that symbolize purity should be dirty by patches of mud that stick.
Purbo dragged his ass to move, grabbing the box of cadus. To make matters worse, Purbo finally managed to grab the box and opened it immediately. A lacy wedding dress in pure white. There is a paper at the bottom of the box.
Perfume-scented white paper contains congratulations to Purbo and Dini who immediately held a wedding. On the paper were also printed pictures of Purbo wearing a tuxedo and a beautiful woman with natural makeup. Same girl as the photo on the locket.
Purbo is getting confused. His head feels throbbing. His sight suddenly turned around, accompanied by the sound of knocking in the distance. The sound of the wood being hit was getting louder and closer. Purbo closed his eyes. The more pain, as if his head was in the grip and hit.
Dok dok dok
"Hhhhhhhh!" Purbo opened his eyes. Now he is back in the wooden chair of the living room.
The sound of a tap with a tube sounded from the kitchen area. Purbo held his head which was still a little dizzy. Paying attention to his left leg that turned out to be intact, there was no wound or small blisters.
Purbo went to the kitchen, looking for the sound of the knock that had been bothering him. It turns out Mak Nah is putting a nail on the kitchen wall.
"Mak's Negation?" ask Purbo ketus.
"Install nails for your pot hangers, sir" replied Mak Nah.
"Why not tomorrow afternoon, Mom? The vow of his voice is disturbing" Purbo said exasperatedly.
Purbo turned around and rushed into the room. He found Dini sitting under the dim room lights. Her long, black hair was on the bed. A smile on her tiny lips.
"What's up, Mom?" dini asked when she saw Purbo just standing pensively looking at her.
"Ah, not really. I'm tired" replied Purbo reasoned.
"Hmm, here Mas rest here," Dini waved his hand, asking Purbo to come closer.
Purbo. He sat next to Dini. There was doubt in his heart now. The dream that had just been experienced really made his heart piqued. More and more strange things and make himself suspicious of Dini, Mak Nah, and the environment where he lives.
"Why Mas?" ask Dini again when he saw Purbo pensive on the bed.
"No. I am not pa pa. Just feeling tired," replied Purbo without looking at Dini.
"You just slept, huh?"
"Why indeed?" Purbo asked back.
"And I told you earlier, don't sleep during the eup, not good. Can make the head dizzy, forget time, and bring strange thoughts Mas," Dini closer his body to Purbo.
Purbo did not flinch from hearing Dini's explanation. He did not pay much attention to his wife. His mind was chaotic, and in a frenzy. I have a meeting with Jasman tomorrow. The disappearance of the check is also one of the things that is still a big question mark for Purbo.
When Purbo daydreamed, Mak Nah came carrying a pitcher and a glass filled with warm parem wedang.
"Now, can you not go into the room knock on the door first or excuse me first? Don't just hang on!" snapped Purbo exasperated.
"Sorry Mister. I think because the door is open so," said Mak Nah while bowed.
"If the njenengan can think, it should know adab!" sergeant Purbo cuts off Mak Nah's speech.
"Maass, patient dong. Don't snatch that," Dini grabbed Purbo's hand and held it tightly.
"It's true Din. Defended her? He's wrong, you know," Purbo's head bobbing in disbelief.
"Sabar Mas's. You're so sensitive anyway Mas," Dini tried to embrace Purbo, but the man shifted his seat, away.
"I'm sorry Mr and Mrs, I was wrong" said Mak Nah bowed.
"Get away! I'm gonna take a break!" bentak Purbo's.
With a reddened face Mak Nah nodded and inched backwards. As Mak Nah reached the doorway of the room, Purbo once again shouted loudly.
"Close door!"
Well according and closed the door from the outside. Then he walked into the kitchen with his teeth clashing against the overflowing emotions. Arriving at the kitchen, Mak Nah throws an aluminum tray in her hand. It creates a noise that breaks the silence.
"Slira gawe I'm wired! Vedhus!" Umpat Mak Nah with round eyes.
