Unlike the day before, Purbo awakens from sleep in a random state this time around. Some joints feel pain and linu. His neck feels stiff. Many times he yawned, signifying his rest all night was lacking in quality.
Purbo turned his head, and it turned out that Dini was not on the bed. Purbo uncovers the blanket, intending to get out of his room which somehow feels stuffy this morning. But when he was about to step, Purbo felt pain in the eyes of the left foot.
Purbo sat in the corner of the bed and checked his legs. There was a wet and reddened wound on the left ankle. Even before going to bed last night, Purbo sure did not have the wound. It was possible that during sleep he had unwittingly kicked something to the point of injuring his own leg. But there is nothing around the bed that if sharp to hurt him like that.
While enduring the pain, Purbo opens the cupboard and picks up a box of cans containing gauze, antiseptics, and other P3K equipment. Deftly, the man bandaged the wounds on his ankles and ankles. He felt quite surprised, it turned out to have the ability to bandage wounds well.
"Hmmm, it seems like I'm better suited to be a nurse than a painter," murmured Purbo alone. He chuckled a little, laughing at himself.
After the strange wound on his leg was finished on the bandage, Purbo walked out of the room. He's going to the bathroom. But when he saw a shadow in front of the house, Purbo finally stepped into the living room.
The atmosphere of the living room is quiet and quiet. The profit nest that Purbo just cleared some time ago, in fact, has now piled up again. The living room sky again looks dirty and dull.
There were footsteps pacing back and forth on the front porch. The sound of a slow step, but because of the quiet surroundings Purbo's sense of hearing can capture it clearly. Purbo opened the door of the house and as usual the white mist to the ashes immediately welcomed.
In the corner of the porch of the house, Dini was standing on her back to Purbo. He wears a lacy black coat, difficult to distinguish from the color of his long hair that is also jet.
"Yes? Why there? Your body is better, right?" tanya Purbo walked over.
Silence does not budge. With Purbo still on his back, his hands moved, perhaps wiping his large, oblong belly.
"Din, can I ask you something?" purbo said later. She recalled the conversation Dini had with Mak Nah last night who was planning something.
Purbo's question was not answered by Dini. The woman in black only nodded slowly. He also did not turn his head, still staring at the thick foggy side yard of the house.
"Actually, what is your relationship with Mak Nah? What is wedang parem?" ask Purbo slowly.
Cold air blows. Make a fine fur feather on the wrist stand up. Purbo felt his skin dry and scaly. He rubbed his own arm.
While Dini was still quietly glued to Purbo's back. Every now and then only the roar of his rough breath could be heard. Not a word came out of his mouth. The silence felt long and made Purbo creep.
"Din's? Why are you keeping quiet? Is not in the family, the household communication is the main?" Purbo began to raise his tone. Dini still does not budge.
"Hey! Answer my question here! I don't like you hanging out like this!" purbo snorted furiously.
Purbo approached and grabbed the female shoulder before him. At the same time we heard footsteps from the living room.
"What's your mom doing there?" a voice rebuked Purbo from inside the house.
A little flinched, Purbo turned his head. It turned out that Dini was standing in the doorway of the house. His wife seemed to notice Purbo while rubbing his large stomach. Dini put on her nightgown, which was pure white.
Surprisingly, the woman in black who was staring back at Purbo now just vanished. Purbo rubbed his eyes. And just the same, there's no one in front of him right now. Purbo's hand no longer grasped the shoulder of the woman in black, now the finger of the white hand was only gripping the wind.
"Mas, what are you doing there?" Dini repeated her question when she saw the face of her husband who looked confused.
"Ah, just stretching," Purbo replied reasoned.
"I was looking for you. You look very fresh today Din" said Purbo as he walked closer to Dini.
"Yeah, when I woke up this morning my body felt light Mas," said Dini look cheerful.
"Oh, thank goodness. By the way your body smells of flowers yes," Purbo sniffed the end near Dini.
"Yes? Mas's new soap," replied Dini quickly.
Purbo did not answer. He walked past Dini and sat in the living room chair. His mind was far away. As the day progressed, his life became more strange.
Purbo also remembered the figure of a woman in black clothes who had been standing in the corner of the terrace of the house. He was not hallucinating or dreaming. The woman's figure is so real.
The more thought out, the more questions raised in Purbo's mind. The question that was somehow unsuitable in Purbo's brain the day before. The question only arises when he no longer drinks wedang parem made by Mak Nah.
Why is it never seen the villagers who enter the village of Ebuh? Only Hasan admitted to being lost yesterday, the only outsider Purbo had met. Even the grass seekers were outside the borders of the village. Though the grass in the area of Ebuh village is more lush and lush.
Another strange thing that Purbo began to realize was the absence of government in the village of Ebuh. How could a village be without any administrative activities at all?
There's another one that's really weird and doesn't make sense. Purbo just remembered, in the village of Ebuh did not see a single child. Purbo never found a baby, nor a boy in the village of Ebuh. There were only adults, and few elderly people inhabiting the isolated village.
What if the baby in the stomach is already born? Purbo felt his son would not get the friends and education he deserved if he still remained in the village of Ebuh. Question after question that kept spinning around inside Purbo's head. Making him groggy and a habit of biting his own fingernails.
"What the hell was it thinking? How can you be confused?" dini asked curiously, following Purbo sitting on the wooden chair of the living room.
"I think about the future of our son. I think that after our child is born it is better to move to Din's house immediately" Purbo replied with a sigh.
At the same time Mak Nah walks from the kitchen, carrying a large jet-black pitcher.
"Mr and Madam, because today Madam Dini is back to health I made a special drink to celebrate it" said Mak Nah with sparkling eyes.
