On the way, Shaka tries to contact Nino. It was intended that he get there everyone had woken up and was preparing to leave. He was not at all calm to leave Nimas alone in the hospital. Tired body and sleepy eyes immediately sourma out of nowhere went. Twice contacted Nino, the teenager was heard saying hello.
"Nino, Madam Nimas wants to give birth. This is Brother again on the way to the house. Can you ask me to wake up Mom with Dad? Maybe fifteen more minutes Brother arrives. Actually, Brother wants to pick up tomorrow or later after the birth of the baby, but mbakmu ngeyel ask Dad, Mom comes now. Sorry, yeah, brother, so interrupt your break."
"Oh yes, sister is okay. I'll wake up Mom's dad now that's it."
Their conversation was over there. The clock shows at three in the morning when Shaka disconnects the phone. The coldness slammed into all the cells of his body. His body which was only covered in a short-sleeved nightgown seemed to make a free wind go out into the car and pierced every inch of his skin. I don't know, there was no gap for the wind to get into the car, but he felt the cold as if he was riding a motorcycle. Maybe because he never left the house this early, that's what makes Shaka feel cold.
Not long after, Shaka's car entered the yard of his second-in-law's house. There were lights in the living room, indicating that they had woken up from their sleep. Without knocking on the door, it had already opened itself from within. It was Nimas' mother who opened it. He who saw Shaka looking pale asked him to enter first.
"Mom, Dad. I'm sorry I had to interrupt your rest" Shaka said sitting on the living room couch.
"It's okay, why the same parents themselves have to talk like that. It's tea let's get a little warm." Nimas' mother offered him a glass of warm sweet tea.
Shaka took the warm tea by force. It felt that whatever would be put in his throat at this time would not be able to enter willingly because his body and mind were far apart.
"Is everything ready? Can we go now? Nimas is alone in the hospital."
No questions came out of the mouths of Nimas' parents. Without explanation, they seemed to understand that they were not welcome in the Shaka family. They still remember how they were treated when they attended their child's wedding.
"Son, you look pale. You sick? It's Nino's jacket. Here the air this early is very unfriendly."
Nimas' mother gave him a thick jacket that he had just picked up after giving the warm tea.
"Thank you, Mom."
Inwardly wanting Shaka to cry, her two in-laws loved her like children. Both of his parents hurt his son. What if they knew that Nimas was being treated badly by his parents? To imagine Shaka was incapable. But sooner or later won't they know too?
When they were ready, they immediately left the house. Throughout the journey only silence dominated Shaka's car. All drifting in their thoughts and prayers so that Nimas can pass through this moment smoothly without obstacles.
And apparently, the silence brought them to the hospital a little quickly. The slightly quiet streets add to their time to shorten the journey.
The three of them flocked down the hospital hallway. Shaka seemed much more worried than his two in-laws. Understandably, Shaka has no experience in this. While his two in-laws had already felt this moment, so they only strengthened their prayers so that everything went smoothly.
"Sir, I've brought Dad with me. How's stomach?"
"Nimas, are you okay?" ask Nimas' mother.
"Ah, yes. I'm okay, Mom. Thanks, yeah, Dad, Mom. I'd like to come here. I'm sorry if I'm so wrong, I asked her to pray that I can get through this smoothly. For you my husband, I'm sorry I've troubled you, I've made a lot of mistakes too. I'm sorry, yes Mas."
Nimas uttered the apology and prayer request with the pain that Shaka had felt since his departure.
"Yes, you never repotted me. How, how much progress has been made?" shaka asked with his wife's hand.
"Udah, before you came, it was open five."
"Nimas, the woman who is about to give birth will definitely feel excruciating pain. A lot of istighfar, yes son. We sure stiff can get through this. When you are born, all the pain will go away. Our prayers will always be with you" Nimas said.
The woman who gave birth to her child decades ago gave a kiss all over her face. After a while both Nimas parents are required to leave the room, because it should not be many people who are inside. An apology returned to Nimas' lips, his parents only replied with nods and smiles.
"You're cold, Mum. I'm sorry" said Nimas again.
"It's okay. Don't think of anything else."
Moments after both parents Nimas out of the room, the pain in Nimas stomach was felt again, the opening to perfection was more often felt and the duration of time was getting longer.
The hour had shown at seven in the morning when Nimas was ready to give birth to the child. Shaka who accompanied his wife's pain since then can only cry and give a little tranquilizing touch even though he himself needs a tranquilizer.
While the mourner tried to be strong and did not show his pain so that her husband did not worry more. No matter how many times the push, Nimas who had almost run out of energy finally could hear the cry of the baby that he had wanted to hear since last night.
Shaka immediately gave thanks and laid his head on the very head of his wife. A cry of relief broke out in silence at that very instant. Despite not feeling the pain Nimas felt, he felt another pain when he saw Nimas in such pain.
"Mas, I didn't hear wrong, did I? Can I give birth to a baby?" nimas whispered in disbelief.
"Yes, our son is born. You can do it, you've become a mother and I've become a father. We're parents." Shaka said by trying to dampen his cries.
Not long after the baby of the male sex was handed over to the Father to be punished. For the first time in his life, Shaka holds a baby who is a lineage only nephew. The child who should one day call him om, should instead call him Dad.
Son, even though you're actually just my nephew. I promised myself I wouldn't consider you a nephew. You are my son, and until the end of my life, I promise to carry this secret. I will carry this secret until I am buried in the ground. I don't want you to know that you exist because of your Father and Mother's fault.
