Shaka and Nimas begin their morning activities with breakfast. They were sitting down when Marissa and Mr. Malik had just finished their breakfast. The man who was the head of the family in the house immediately stood up without saying a word to them.
Nimas looked at her husband, then as if understanding the meaning of his wife's gaze, Shaka gave a code that was indifferent to their behavior.
"Good morning, Ma" said Nimas at the dinner table.
"Morning too. Please eat, consider it your own home and do not hesitate to wake up tomorrow and so on. Mama go first, there's business." Ms. Marissa spoke lightly as if her words were ordinary and painless.
Shaka had just spoken, but Nimas' hand touched the man's hand slowly, causing him to stop replying to his mother.
"Why Nimas? Why did you forbid me to answer Mama's words?" shaka asked when Ms. Marissa really left the dining table.
"Don't be disobedient because of me. Let it be, what Mama did as a form of attention to me. Let me get up early, start some light activity, so I'm not lazy."
Nimas felt it was enough this morning that the man defended him in front of his mother. She did not want her husband to be constantly against her mother because of her. Let him himself make his mother-in-law accept herself as a daughter-in-law in her own way.
"What kind of mind is Nimas? My mother's words don't deserve to be called attention. After this we go home. I don't want us to be at home with my parents" Shaka broke up amid his frustration.
"Then I will be hated by Mama, Papa. You don't have to worry about me, Mom. I can take care of myself, I will make them accept me as a son-in-law. Let me try first. I told you that I'm not comfortable, I'm not at home, I'm going to tell you."
Shaka just let out a heavy sigh. Intentions are good and need to be appreciated with support from him. But he could not bear to see his wife was treated inhumanely by her own parents. The verbal abuse experienced by Nimas honestly makes Shaka afraid if it affects the sanity of his wife.
"There are still many ways to get their hearts Nimas, not necessarily with us stay home and you sacrifice ears you hear all their innuendo. I'm sure you'll be sick later, too, if so."
"We're husband and wife, right? You should believe me if I can get through this."
Stubborn, Nimas is really stubborn. Shaka to the point of not being able to make the woman's stance slightly crooked. Doesn't Nimas know if he's worried about Shaka? That's the question that comes to mind.
Finished with the long debate that they decided to eat. In a house as big as that, the food was both. Even though in the middle of eating they were talking about light things, still a quiet atmosphere dominated the room.
"Shaka, you don't take a long time off. The office needs you too" said Ms. Marisaa past the dining table. Judging from her appearance, the woman was about to go out of nowhere.
Shaka was silent and did not answer. He prefers to chew his food rather than having to serve his mother who since this morning made him want to remove the horn on the head.
Nimas is the same. Seeing the annoyed expression plastered on Shaka's face, Nimas made her reluctant to add to the speech.
"Do you want to go for a walk?" shaka asked as soon as he downed the drink in front of him.
"Where are you going? I really want to, too. Just don't know where to go, confused."
"To the mall, yes. The near one, we will stop by the park if you. We buy your clothes, your clothes, the little you bring here. Keep all of us buy a dress for you to wear later if the stomach is big."
"It's still a long time if that, then it'll be. If so, let's go to the mall. I haven't been shopping for a long time."
After finishing breakfast, Nimas returned to the top to change clothes that are more suitable to be worn out of the house. While her husband waited on the terrace. While waiting for his wife to finish changing clothes, Shaka fiddles with flat objects that he had ignored since last night.
There was no important message, only a message from Raisa asking her news after eating vegetables last night. Shaka ignored the message and then thoughtlessly blocked the number of his ex-girlfriend.
At the same time, he suddenly recalled the hug he had not received long ago from Nimas. I don't know, he didn't know why he wanted to smile when he remembered the hug.
"Come, Mas!" invite Nimas to stand next to Shaka with his hands he glued on but the sling bag he was wearing.
Shaka did not budge, he was still silent as if he was daydreaming something. His lips still curled into a smile.
"Mas" call Nimas again.
Still not budging.
"Mas." Nimas called out to him louder while gently shaking Shaka's body.
"Ha yes, why?" ask Nimas gelagapan.
"I was ready, daydreaming what, anyway?"
"Why didn't you say you were ready?"
Shaka stood up, he was a little fascinated when he saw Nimas wearing a pink knee-length dress with a small flower motif. Long black hair that he stalls and decorated bando which is also pink. Her tiny lips she gave off a very thin red color and that simple appearance was able to hypnotize Shaka.
"Hello, Mas Shaka. Can we go now?" shouted Nimas taut.
"It can, come on! Don't scream, you're pregnant."
"His eyes aren't focused, is there something wrong with my appearance? Do I look like a village? I look like a kid if I make this?" tanya Nimas pointed at the bando that was hanging in her head.
"No, let it be. You're still a kid, right? You are Shaka's little woman" Shaka chuckled.
Nimas felt blushed hearing her husband's speech. He slightly lowered his head in order to hide his reddened face.
"Let's go, just can't wait, now don't even set off." Shaka thrust out his hand which inexplicably Nimas did not understand what he meant.
Nimas looked up while frowning.
"Not knowing?" shaka asked to take his wife's hand and put it in her palm.
Without another word, Shaka dragged Nimas to come with him. The woman just kept quiet with a slow step following Shaka's steps. Her eyes stared at the yangan her husband held. Unknowingly his lips curved into a smile.
