Part 7's
Adela followed William through the corridor. The nuance is still the same as yesterday, dim and dark in some corners. There was only the illumination of a few candles lit in a beautiful glass lantern shaped crystal prism that seemed to be attached to the wall. William glanced at the girl. "I'm so happy for the work I got here. Welcome, Adela."
Adela replied with an awkward smile. "Ah, thank you."
William nodded softly though honestly a bit doubtful of his ability. But he believed his master's judgment. They had discussed it last night and reached a conclusion, that this girl still has
the potential to have attachment to the puppet. Let's hope his innocence doesn't cause any problems after meeting the woman. "Well, I'll show you your living room, dining room, kitchen and room. There's a basement in this castle, but you can't go there. That place is off limits to anyone. Of course only the master can be there," he explained.
Adela's face lifted hearing that. What kind of room is it that should prohibit anyone from entering it? It must be the nape of his neck so stand all.
Finished passing through the main hall, they headed for the living room. William opened a golden-carved white double door that presented a large room decorated with luxurious sofas, a table of fragrant wood, an antique clock in the corner of the room and a fireplace attached to the wall. A beautiful rug was spread with pillows in front of the fireplace earlier. It's just that the beauty of this room is also wrapped in darkness. The windows were also covered in black curtains.
Adela's mind is increasingly disturbed to address the obvious problems in this castle. "Why is it so dark?"
For a moment William shook his head, then turned slowly to look seriously at the girl. Adela who almost hit him immediately retreated, the tip of her head only reached the limit of William's chest. "Never open it in the day" he warned.
William's large eyes seemed to glint within this dark space, causing Adela to sink her head as deep as possible into his neck. "Why? Isn't it good to block sunlight into the house? At least this castle needs warmth. Morning sunlight is good for health" Adela said, her voice barely audible out of fear. The atmosphere of the castle was completely opposite when compared to the other noble castles made him shudder. "The castle is so cold .. and creepy," he murmured uncomfortably.
William raised a face that was getting serious, stiff and gave a strong emphasis. His eyes rolled down to look at Adela's face. "Dangerous sunshine to Mr. Hornest."
Suddenly Adela who had been afraid continued to be surprised. "Is the lord sick?" Just get there
in conclusion while watching how the old man glanced towards the window; spacious, cold and careful.
"Sunlight will hurt him. I hope you really pay attention to that. Do not let a speck of light into this building," William's will was immediately greeted by a nod. For Adela it is clear that the owner of this castle is full of surprising things. "But you can open it when night falls." Then William took her around and asked the girl to remember the street and the room she described. They arrived in the room prepared for him. "This is your room. I hope you're comfortable here" she said with her weird slightly curved lips. Fortunately Adela can still interpret it as a smile. Although still effective horror.
"You'd better follow the rules of this castle" he recalled.
Of course, Adela still had to smile understandingly. "Oh, all right," he exclaimed as he sat on the bed, trying to figure out how comfortable his new mattress was. As soon as he sat down, his butt almost sank there. He became impressed not to play, how comfortable this bed was occupied. It feels a little unfair if he enjoys all this comfort alone. His family must feel it too. So he promised himself to work harder. His village attitude made him blush embarrassed when he looked at William. "Ah, sorry." It was in his mind that there was something about this castle. "I know the name of every castle that stands around the capital, like Duke Hangmillon's Evergreen Castle or Lady Scarletta's Song of the Rain castle. He named his castle that way because when it was raining he often heard his castle singing. Amazing, no! What about Mr Hornest? What name did the lord give to this castle?"
Interesting question, it turns out this little girl is quite smart as well because it is able to overcome all the peculiarities of the castle quite well so far. Or maybe he was too stupid to realize it? But it feels impossible. All will be answered once he meets the core of this castle. To answer the question, William's head was slightly tilted because he tried to remember his master's words. "Mr Hornest named the castle ... Rosie's Bloody."
As Adela's eyes widened, her smile slowly dissipated. "Roses .. bleed." For him it was a pretty name
gives the impression of horror. The name truly represents the entire tragedy that has happened here. The comfort in his ass has not been felt since he knew it. Apparently his employer has unusual tastes and makes him feel a bit wrong until rubbed nape.
William turned towards the door. "Now we meet your duty." Here's time. The determination that his master was waiting for. If this girl is scared and tries to run away, then she will certainly never be able to reach her family again.
Adela gasped from her strange reverie. It was time for him to meet the doll that became his life savior. He himself did not want to think further about the reason his master gave the name Bloody Rosie. The only logic he thought of was the garden of red roses growing in the castle grounds as well as the creeping ones filling the inner fort walls.
They returned to the hall, climbed the stairs from there, then turned left, and entered the corridor. Now that they were standing in front of the double door of the main room, William entered the key, turning it twice. Adela did not understand, if there is only a doll inside, why lock the door? Why does it take a personal servant to take care of it? "Go inside, you'll see."
"W-are these dolls so special?"
A proud impression emanated strongly in the hue of the butler. "He is special."
Adela. Her? Poked both eyes trying to be aware of the thought, his curiosity will end after he entered the room. His little legs stepped in, his eyes wide open as he looked at the room that was five times wider than his room earlier. All luxury and high art classy items decorate the rooms. Dressing tables, paintings, tapestries, vases, goddess statues, velvety flower-patterned red sofas, bookcases, so large wardrobes and sparkling golden candlesticks. So luxurious and elegant, just like the other rooms, the glass window of this room is also covered with black curtains. He looked to the right, finding a fairly large bathroom there. The bathroom in the room? That's amazing, her inner. Then proceed a step deeper to see the large bed that was blocked by the bathroom wall. There was an orange curtain on the wooden bed. Curtains cover the face sitting against the pillow. William's eyes watched as he followed him from behind. Adela's steps came to a halt right in front of the bed when she saw the doll her master meant. Suddenly his breathing was like chasing, both his legs were trembling, and his voice was choking in the throat.
The black-haired lady puppet was sitting on the bed with her hands drooping on both sides of the body. His head was down and his eyes half open. A thick blanket covered his body to the limit of his chest.
