Part 43's
Ronie quickly explained the situation because he did not want to be considered an intruder or a perverted man who sneaked into a woman's room. A bad reputation would certainly destroy his dignity as an aristocrat. "Oh, jeez! Forgive me for my careless actions. I really don't mean to be presumptuous, it's just that I'm having trouble finding someone inside this mansion." His lips spoke but the tail of his eyes glanced towards the bed, astonished that someone lying there seemed not to be disturbed by this commotion. ”But I am relieved, finally someone came to find me,” kilahnya.
When viewed from the situation it seems Ronie has not been aware of his non-existence. Therefore without hesitation pulled Ronie's arm to get out of the room immediately. "Sorry, Sir. But you can't be here. Come on, let's get out!" he firmly whispered that obeyed until they went downstairs and spoke there.
"So what explanation would I accept with all this weirdness?" ask Ronie. The tip of his index finger spun in place as if pointing to all the contents of the room. His attitude seems to say that the condition of this castle is not normal.
"Th-this is just negligence. I forgot to open the whole curtain this morning," said Adela.
Next to Ronie's eyebrows raised while advancing his face towards the girl because the answer sounded out of deception. "really?" The nervous supposition of the waiter only further added to his suspicions. "Isn't there any other waiter who can do it? Given that it's been too long all the curtains closed from morning until this evening."
Adela shook her head awkwardly. "No-no, right now there's only me here."
Again an awkward answer. Reasserted his body, this time both of his eyebrows shot up. "You know that sounds weird, don't you?"
Riled. The contents of the tiny butler became burnt because they had to keep looking for an excuse. Her eyes were twitching like they had an idea. “Ah! The butler was accompanying the master out since this morning together .. emm .. some waiters of course.”
Ronie's forehead was so wrinkled inside. Although that reason sounds far-fetched, he should choose not to further tease things that are not his business. "Baiklaa." The tone of his opponent's voice made Adela even more irritated. "In the room just now if not mistakenly thought I had seen Lady Cloudivious. Is it not nearly evening, but why is he still lying in bed? Daaan-in that sealed space. Is that his habit?"
The question is very straight and too frank increasingly disturbing heart. Adela's hands clenched firmly behind her body to try hard to maintain manners, even her friendly smile is still sought to survive. "You've mistaken it, sir. Miss is not as lazy as you think. It's just that today, miss feels unwell. While he was resting he did not deign to be disturbed by anything, so I deliberately left the curtain closed so that the sunlight did not disturb his sleep." He was really surprised at himself. How not, lies fly from his tiny lips neatly sair melodious song.Without realizing he stepped back while bowing down to regret his new habits.
Ronie's lips tightened to think of something that read from his clumsy attitude. Maybe it was true what he said, just that his behavior actually showed the opposite. In the meantime, however, this reason will be accepted. "Oh, really? Well, then I must have bothered him earlier. I'm really sorry. Please, if you don't mind, convey my deepest apologies and regrets to Lady Cloudivious. Plus ...” Both his eyebrows raised. “I will also pray for his recovery."
His attitude showed as if his prayers were much needed. It was very desirable Adela kicked her legs to satisfy her disgust. But his current choice was simply to nod as quickly as possible. "good. I don't mind, Sir."
The noble's eyes closed for a moment as if he was weighing something. Actually he was a bit disappointed because he failed to chat or just greet the lady who is now a topic of conversation among the nobles. Moreover, the main purpose apparently also can not be implemented because of the
the host is traveling. As soon as his eyes opened, his breathing was long stifled. “What a pity, it seems my visit here was in vain.”
"If you want to see Mr. Hornest I suggest you come when the sky is dark, because at that time the master must have been in the mansion. But before that I wish you to give word or make an appointment in advance so that this kind of incident does not happen again."
His subtle reprimands made Ronie a little aware of manners. "You're right. Forgive my rash actions. Then I'd better just go, there's still a lot of business waiting. And, please tell Duke Cloudivious that I am deeply ashamed and apologize for this incident. I hope he is willing to set the time and invite me to come in between his busy life," he regretted, although his look did not show that at all but looked like a heartbroken young man.
"Thank you, Adela."
"Then let me drop you off, sir." With Ronie on board the train, making sure he left the castle and didn't return for any reason. As soon as the gate closed his breathing was long stifled. However, the worry is growing because the strangeness of this castle must have been so deep. Although Ronie Stoner is a flamboyant but Adela believes he is not the kind of man who likes to spread unpleasant rumors. Ronie wasn't that stupid as to create a new enemy whose strength was not yet known. And again, the nobleman was right, the sky was almost reddened, it was good for him to be ready to carry out his duties. While closing the door suddenly sounded from behind the voice of someone asking.
"Has he gone?"
The flinched girl instantly turned her body and found her master standing at the end of the stairs. "Lord! You surprise me," he sighed deeply, wiping his chest as his heart raced like a war drum. Not yet the tension facing Ronie subsided even plus the presence of who was not aware.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you" Ernest regretted.
Adela shook her head quickly. “Ti-it's okay, Mister." His eyes closed for a moment while breathing and then just answered. "The Stoner's nobleman is gone. I've made sure of it." Not forgetting the message from Ronie.
Ernest's black iris rolled down slowly like it was weighing. "Hm, that? Inconveniencing. I'll think about it." Then he turned back to the stairs.
"Tu-lord?" call Adela.
Ernest's steps faltered without turning around, only slightly looking back. "Yes?"
"Why didn't you come out to see him? That way the Stoner Nobles won't make it to the lady's room," asked Adela curiously. Thas right. What happens if he arrives late? Ronie must have found Eien's strange condition which may be difficult to explain how his body can be a puppet. When thought about, Adela herself did not even know what the cause was and how it could happen.
"Wouldn't it be weird if I showed up in this room, Adela?” ernest asked back as if demanding his servant to think. “For sure the various questions from him will flood me like an unstoppable flood. My question is, do I have to answer all of Stoner's questions later? If I serve it then it will never be finished. And if I let you know, can you guess what's going to happen?”
Adela shook her head softly, her lips bitten by a tendentious tone that gave her a bad feeling.
"That's why I need to thank you. If only your worries had occurred, no one would have been able to guarantee that man could return to his castle." His smooth-sounding voice could make the nape of his servant stand up.
Long fixated, the rumbling inside Adela's chest churned strangely, for failing to decide whether to be flattered or frightened. Isn't that a warning? His master would do terrible things to Ronie Stoner if he came a little late. Stared with great earnestness at the back of his master. "Sa-I'll make sure things like this won't happen again."
"It's better that way." Afterwards Ernest continued to climb the stairs and disappeared behind the corridor upstairs.
After Ernest died, Adela immediately embraced her own body that shuddered in horror. Convinced that a creature like his master would not play with his words. There was no doubt for him in taking his life. Just as it happened that night when his nonanya escaped where he himself witnessed how cold and vile the master was unsheathing the sword. Sure was! Everything will definitely be done to defend the miss, even if it should take away one's life. I hope what I fear never happens. But the grapevine of unpleasant feelings actually makes him more agitated. Then dragged his heavy body towards his room to calm his mind before starting the task.
