The Part 39

Not long after, Adela had arrived before Ernest who was staring at her from behind the table. His face was staring at the floor waiting for his master to speak. His master would definitely punish him for having helped his nona run away. Even the punishment is better than being fired. Just say it, Adela is willing to serve the whip even if it is still given a chance, but why her master still lingers to play with her feelings. The sound of the road seconds of the antique clock that passed increasingly add to the heavy burden that squeezes the chest. It is difficult to breathe in such a hanging situation and guess what will be heard. Right now there is not a pinch of courage to look directly at the look on his face.

There were three small knocks on the table from Ernest's index finger which caused the waiter a slight jerk. Both of his hands were caught in chains for the sake of squeezing each other tightly. Ernest so sighed lightly seeing the restless attitude of Adela who was afraid of being whacked by anger. It was about time he opened the conversation before this girl went crazy. "I hope you know for sure what your mistake was" he said in a concerned tone.

Of course he knew that he nodded regretfully because there was no reason for him to defend himself. "I am guilty, Sir. Please forgive me."

For a moment Ernest's eyes closed, falling into deep thought. After considering from all sides ripely then the black slices are slowly visible. "Well, I'm sure you won't repeat it." The short decision was taken because it did not want to confuse the problem that has been resolved. "Now, I hope you understand, Adela, how dangerous the outside world is to Selia."

The servant nodded weakly back. "I understand, Sir. I promise I won't do it again" he said.

Ernest's thin smile was a sign of satisfaction because this girl was quick to respond. "Besides, the thing I really wanted to say was about our identity," it wasn't that it immediately made the servant stunned and so raised his face to look at him. Murat was curious and his curiosity ran out without any restrictions. It further raises the seriousness of Ernest reveals who exactly this mysterious family. "I heard what Selia said about us .. and I will not repeat it or even refute. Instead I also justify that what Selia said is not a lie." The vibration on the window of his servant's soul implied disappointment mixed with fear. It must have been painful for him to accept the situation. How could Ernest be able to stop such feelings. Naturally, because the servant is only a very young human being. Standing in front of him was already an incredible amount of courage. "After knowing it, do you still wish to work for me?" He needed to ask for certainty. Is this just a temporary, a pretense, or a charade? Ernest must know the underlying motive for this girl's courage who still hasn't escaped from a monster like her.

But Adela was even silenced, lying if he was not afraid and anxious for his safety. His lady would definitely protect him and he was sure that his master would not secretly prey on him while sleeping. But what about the others? Who and how many are they here?

The contents of Adela's mind can be clearly read by Ernest from his speech. "All I can promise you is your safety. I myself am a guarantor. None of our shoulders will touch you."

If so Adela could breathe a sigh of relief. "From now on my life depends on Mr.”

“You can trust me.”

“Good. Thank you, Mr.” Somewhat clumsy the girl took a step forward. "And regarding work, I still hope to work here. If my promise I made was that you asked, I can make sure that nothing has changed. My reason is not just the material that my family needs. But the fact that I just realized that .. parting with Miss Selia is a very heavy thing. If it is possible, I want to serve the miss until the end of life.”

For a moment Ernest was stunned to hear that stern-pitched sentence coming out from an ordinary human like Adela. Other than Roland, this little girl was the second human who could show sincerity, the rest was just fear and hatred. His smile was glistening for this gift. "Loyalty is not an easy thing to get. They exist but are rarely worked on. Well, I appreciate your decision. What a fortune to Selia who has been met with a human like you." For the first time in this room Iras Adela turned bright. "Therefore, I will once again leave Selia to you."

Adela's two brown eyes grew happy to gain her master's trust again. "The opportunity you gave me was also a blessing to me. Thank you, Mr.”

“Ya, thanks to us together.” At least with the existence of this girl, the one burden on her shoulders had lessened. Far ahead, Ernest could not guarantee about Adela's desire to continue with Eien. One thing is for sure, this little girl is going to be heartbroken.

Tetiba Adela flinched herself because she remembered something important. ”Tu-lord?"

"Yes?"

"What about La-lady Radringham?" Thas right. What if the queen's troops came to break down the door of this castle when she found there was a slight wound on the body of her favorite niece? Adela was too scared to imagine.

“All your worries are free things. Lady Radringham came home without a shortage of anything. He looks happy.”

Adela's forehead is confused. Then let out a small sigh of his own as he remembered that nothing made sense in this castle. "Then what about his bodyguard and coachman?" There were casualties and his mind was always floating there.

"Some of the palace's servants disappearing from my castle without my knowledge is none of my business, Adela. It was purely a disaster for Lady Radringham who got an incompetent worker, who fled for no apparent reason with her horse-drawn carriage. So it was this castle train that drove him home."

“Ta-but, their bodies-“

“Do I need to fill your vessel of curiosity, Adela?” cut Ernest.

Ernest took a deep breath and shook himself on the back of the chair to lower the increased tension. “I know you are worried about us, but trust me, that all the things you are worried about have been well resolved.”

Sure oes. Adela should not doubt that. His master would definitely do anything to protect this castle for the sake of his nona comfort. “It is inappropriate that I doubt Mr. I'm really stupid.”

“Do not humble yourself. You're a smart girl. It's just that there are things that can't be done with you.” Because it's free. The waiter must have had trouble understanding it.

“I understand, Sir. I'll be more careful next time.”

“Not why. You can ask anything, but not everything I can answer. Now, rest. You must be tired,” closed Ernest.

Adela nodded according. "Good, Sir. You also need to rest. Your face looks paler than usual.”

“Really? Thank you for watching me.”

Adela smiled too. “Then, excuse me, Sir,"his camel resigned.

After the girl left the room, William came in place with a cup of coffee which was then placed on the table. "Thank you, Will." Ernest grabbed the handle of the cup and sipped it a little.

"So Adela knew?" open William. Ernest put down the cup and just muttered justifiably. The butler tightened his lips to understand, but his irritation turned concerned when he was about to say something. "The condition of the princess's majesty is getting worse, sir." Honestly, he doesn't like to remind me of this.

Ernest's agitated gaze dropped on the edge of the table. "I can see it too" he sighed bitterly. That fact forced him to get up from the chair even though it felt spacious and heavy. "Prepare my clothes."

“Should it be tonight? Your face is too pale. Your condition is also not possible,” prevent William.

“This is because I used my blood to create a portal from the pentagram to fight the way with invited guests who came home, and several times warp to take care of the bodies of the servants Lady Radringham.”

“Then, delay overnight, Sir. Your energy is much drained.”

“Any time I waste will harm your highness princess.”

The butler sighed. “Good. But this time have you thought about your next target?” He only hoped that no more blood would be wasted.

Ernest's body suddenly became stiff. “Holy woman,” she answered softly.

William terperanjattak. "But, Sir! They're servants of God!" sergeant.

Ernest's breathing was drawn very deeply and slowly his two eyes closed weakly after making a heavy decision. "I'm ready to take his sins."

Although William shook his head violently to disagree, but whatever power he had no power to hinder, all he could do was replace his master to do the task. "Let me do it" he asked solemnly. It was enough for him to see his master sin, and this time he could not let him fall into a bottomless black hole.

"No." Stared at his loyal servant with earnestness. "Only I will bear this damned life. There's nothing to fall apart from me, William. Nothing," he insisted. Not after I decided to take Eien away from the palace. It's all my responsibility. I was the cause of things getting bad. I am a creature that cannot help myself. How could I have divided my sins against others for my greed.

William's gray bead shook violently, no more rebuttal that could be spoken. "Tuaaan," he sighed sadly.
