The Part 23
A knock on the door dissipated the tension that was going on between Eien and Adela. They turned their heads rigidly towards the sound, a sign that this conversation should be terminated immediately. Eien gave the girl a waiver so as not to make William wait any longer.
Not yet pale in the face, Adela had to open the door. His clumsy attitude greeted William who asked about the lady's willingness. "Miss Selia is ready. She looked stunning in Mr. Hornest's choice of dress" she replied lowly while avoiding William's gaze.
That need not be doubted. "good. Now it's your turn to make up. Don't be too long because after that you have to accompany Mr. Hornest to welcome the presence of the nobles. Give the master information about the invitees you know," William's instructions answered nods. Without wasting any time Adela respecting the retreat to Eien with restless feelings then left the room. Instead William went into the room to confirm Eien's health condition.
When Adela's mind was being confused by Eien's request, a panorama blew away all the debris like sand flakes blowing in the wind. His steps slowed down on the red-carpeted staircase, his two brown irises astonished at finding the contents of the different room.
The ballroom which was previously still as dark as when he first came, now looks amazingly stunning. Charming, luxurious and elegant decorations were not enough to describe what he was seeing right now. The candles in the crystal chandeliers hanging from the ceiling light up as bright as daylight, the high-art-value statues are displayed so nicely in the right corners. And look at the white wisteria flowers hanging from each roof of the corridor, so full that the light biases of the colorful lanterns are attached to the petals that sometimes fall. And the most amazing thing is this staircase, the fence is filled with red roses. It was like she was stranded in a fairyland. "Oh, Tuhaaaan, this is very idaaah," he hiss amazed.
Not enough to get there, paintings and other historical objects also decorate the walls when he entered the room behind the hall. He also had time to check the dining room, there the long table has been neatly arranged complete with sparkling tableware made of silver accompanied by crystal glasses and bottles of the best wine. All the sparkles reflected here are thanks to the light from the brightly lit candles. However, all the beauty that happened actually created a deep frown on Adela's forehead. How could they prepare all of this in less than an hour?
Miraculously, that was all that came to his mind because all of this just happened so perfectly. He rushed to the kitchen, perhaps the cooks needed his help a little. But how surprised when he found the room is still empty, no activity whatever happened. This ... is very strange. Really am! Tuhaaan, am I not sane? His head felt tired and spinning. It was natural for him if this event formed a deep strange impression in his mind. All right, I'll just go back to the room. He has to get out of here before his thoughts really make him go crazy just to find a logic that can answer all these mysteries.
After the berias Adela a little rushed because she was reluctant to make her master wait. Meanwhile, I prefer to ignore all the oddities that occur because the task is waiting. When heading towards the ballroom it seemed that several noble couples had arrived. Ah, Count Hangmilton and his wife. They were indeed nobles who were famous for respecting time.
His eyes turned towards his master who was welcoming the noble. A red gush just like that on his cheek, his chest pounding wonderfully watching how charming the man was wearing a dark red suit that looked harmonious if later coupled with his nona. And at this moment his smile was in the middle, instead of the flat face that he usually showed. No doubt the view of Adela shaded because the gentle light of her master like the morning sun in a beautiful garden, giving the impression of a mystical and hidden where not everyone can reach the secluded garden. But Adela immediately jerked herself because it was not good for her to look at her employer for too long.
A male servant helped them take off their coats, after a bit of pleasantry the noble couple went deeper, their eyes were made flabbergasted by the beauty of the contents of this castle. Even when they cross paths with Adela, their greeting smiles are revealed because of the beautiful nuances that are like a heavenly garden. Adela immediately saluted, as soon as they passed to join the other guests, she continued to approach her master. "Sir."
Finally his servant arrived, he noticed that Adela had fulfilled her request. The soft yellow dress looked pretty he was wearing. "You look good tonight."
The praise was able to catapult Adela's heart, her cheeks blushing and pounding on her chest getting uncontrollable. "Thank you for the compliment, sir."
"There's no need to hesitate, Adela." Ernest watched the stairs leading to the first floor. "What about Selia? Is he ready?"
Adela nodded. "Already, Sir. Miss looks more amazingly charming in a dress you choose."
"I believe that," he responded with a faint smile, then Ernest's attention was distracted by the horse-drawn carriage that had just entered the castle grounds.
Adela was slightly bowed, however, what was in her master's mind was only the miss. What did he expect? Raised his face after encouragingly welcoming a brunette-haired woman who got off the carriage. "Ah, Lady Scarletta Laville. He is the owner of the very famous Song Of The Rain castle in London, his mother still has a kinship with the noble queen. Therefore he has a lot of social networks, even impressed if youth is the center of all information. Besides, he's still single. Ah, so graceful," whispered Adela began to chant.
This was clearly the first time Ernest had met her, it was best if she had acted introspective as it seemed Scarletta had a strong influence in London. "So," he murmured.
The guest in blue gold dress was now right in front of Ernest. He was glued there when Ernest's charming smile was like a Cupid arrow that could hit the heart. His eyes could not fool anyone, there was such a strong interest there. Adela even cleared her throat to break Scarletta's consciousness. "I'm helping you, Lady?" adela asked, pointing at her coat.
"Ah, yes. Oh, I'm sorry," she blushed a little embarrassed. He just acted vulgarly out of control. How shameful he thought, but what power. The man who greeted her turned out to be beyond expectations. At first he was not very interested in attending this banquet, but his reputation as a source and collector of information would be at stake and he did not want to miss the news. "Good night. You must be DukeHornest Cloudivious," he said after he finished taking off his coat.
"Good night Lady Laville. It's nice to meet you."
"So did I. It's an honor to get an invitation from you, DukeCloudivious."
"certain. I hope we can continue the conversation inside." Scarletta moved, but her gaze seemed to be attached to Ernest.
As soon as the guest disappeared from sight, Adela approached her master after handing over the coat to the male servant earlier. "Looks like Lady Scarletta's interested in Master."
"That's too early a conclusion, Adela." The innocent nature of his servant even invited a smile on Ernest's face.
No. gabe. Anyone would think the same. But Adela did not dare to debate it any further, while dozens of horse carriages kept coming. His job is more important than to keep speculating. During that time he was very responsive to tell all the names of the nobles without error.
Two horse carriages returned to the castle grounds. From the first train came down a beautiful blonde woman wearing an orange dress. This time Adela did not comment because she believed her master had known a lady whose beauty was so famous to every corner of the country.
Elena Radringham smiled as she approached Ernest, then greeted with a lady's salute while giving the back of her hand which was immediately welcomed by Ernest. A slight gentle kiss stuck lightly on her glove-clad fingers.
"We meet again, Lady Elena. It's nice if you're willing to make time for this banquet." Ernest took off his fingers.
The fact this man still remembered himself was truly encouraging, causing a twinkle of longing to radiate from Elena's beautiful eyes. Even Adela can see it very clearly when approaching to help open the mantle. The beautiful nobleman did not refuse, only his gaze seemed reluctant to switch from his master. "It's a pity that the queen's majesty is unable to attend your banquet. He was too preoccupied by various visits and government duties, however, he was very much looking forward to joining the festivities."
Ernest did not take issue and took an understanding stance. "His presence will definitely be a luxury for this banquet. It is very unfortunate indeed. But what can be done, I also do not want to interfere with his activities. Please send my respectful greeting to your majesty."
"Sure," said Elena who then remembered about the younger sister that Ernest had mentioned last time. Along the way he kept thinking about whether he could meet her or not, even in fact he hoped to establish a good relationship. May Lady Cloudivious be a friendly woman. "What about Lady Cloudivious? I hope he's at his peak condition tonight."
Ernest's smile beckoned not to worry. "Selia's health condition is improving. Thank you for asking, your concern is a blessing to Selia."
"Don't hesitate, Hornest. It was great to hear this happy news. I had high hopes of meeting him."
"Sure, as expected, you will see it tonight."
The news was welcomed by Elena who was then welcome to join the banquet. "We'll talk inside again." While smiling sweetly Elena entered along with Adela who approached Ernest with a smile.
Ernest's eyebrows shot up next to him as he looked at him. "I know what you're gonna say." His servant's face turned red and laughed in shame.
Next a pair of nobles were walking towards them. To Adela's surprise was the male nobility who could not be absent from all social events like this. Hazel-mannered men look beautiful when the moonlight in the sky refracts the blond color of their hair. "Earl Ronie Stoner's. He is the most handsome noble in the country. All British women admit it" whispered Adela. Ernest listened as he watched the woman walking by his side. "And that beautiful woman is Countess Emilia Gordon. The widow of Count Bruce Gordon. Just two weeks ago he was holding a widow's station because Count Gordon died of a heart attack."
"Are they close relatives?"
Adela shook her head small. "No."
"Why did they come together?"
His master then whispered, "It is common knowledge that Earl Ronie Stoner was a womanizer. I think Master understands my point."
